Recientemente remodelado, es el único apartamento de este tipo en Lagada Bay, tiene capacidad para hasta cuatro personas y está equipado con aire acondicionado. Toda la propiedad ha sido equipada con los más altos estándares con pisos de baldosas, encimeras de granito y un interior de diseño contemporáneo.

Se ha prestado atención a los detalles para hacer de esta impresionante propiedad el epítome de un alojamiento de lujo. I made a reservation via Expedia on January 19. We've paid for the room. Today we came to the hotel, on March 27, after 24 hours of traveling there from home in USA. Manager of the property told us she doesn't have a reservation from Expedia. Moreover we've got a confirmation from VRBO and owner of this particular studio i had reserved via Expedia and paid said that he does not know anything about us. We are using Expedia service for years and now we are in different country without place to stay.

Emplacement exceptionnel avec Service haut de gamme. Prix de la location nettement au prix pratiqués en direct par le gestionnaire local ( double du prix). Appartement mal agencé et de superficie ridicule . Montant de location équivalent à deux chambres d hôtel avec petit déjeuner et autres facilités.

Lovely apartment in quiet location, near everything you need in unspoilt area of Crete

We are a family of 4, with 2 boys aged 10 and 13. The apartment was of a good size for us, with everything we needed for a 10 day stay. We all loved the 2 pools and the view of the sea. Lagada beach nearby was a bit rough for us to swim in, but it is a 2 minute drive into beautiful Makrigialios. Hiring a car is a must if you stay here. The sandiest beach is near the harbour. Apart from spending time in the village (which has Minoan & Roman villas), we spent time with Anthony (who works in the resort) who took us sea kayaking & up to Pefki village to walk back down the gorge. Both of these were excellent days out and we learnt a lot about Crete from Anthony. We also had an interesting drive (ie hair pin bends on single track roads) to the coast at Kato Zakros. The resort is 2 hours from Herakleon, so we didn't venture to Knossos, although we did drive back to the Watercity waterpark which we all loved. We took a boat from Ierapetra to the island of Chrissi. This was an expensive day (loungers at the beach were 20E!) and it was crowded, but it was worth it to swim at the amazing Golden Beach. In the past I have backpacked around Oz and the Pacific and this beach had some of the clearest water I had ever seen. Bring your snorkels! We would all thoroughly recommend both the apartment and this part of Crete.

A Lovely little apartment!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Studio, Lagada Bay. The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay. It is bright, clean and nicely fitted out with modern Ikea furnishings and with a very good air conditioning system for the hot Summer months in Crete which you will need! Cosy enough to enjoy a night in but equally so many places to explore and eat that, the apartment was all we needed as a base and with plenty of good restaurants, and site seeing near by. We loved it, the only minor issue was that we felt the double bed needed a couple of slats either replacing/fixing underneath as it sagged a little on sleeping, but this was the only fault. The rest was bliss!

Lovely accommodation exactly what we needed.

The property was great as was the complex. Clean and Well maintained. Location requires a car which we had to see Crete which was lovely. Great choice of restaurants on the beach front which is 3km or a €5 taxi ride away. Would definitely return.

Schöne Unterkunft am guten Standort Makrigialos

Das Apartment entsprach im Inneren der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Es war mit Liebe eingerichtet und es war alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort war gut. Der Ort Makrigialos ist ein kleiner beschaulicher Ferienort, der alles bietet ( Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Strand ...) um sich sehr wohl zu fühlen. Hervorzuheben ist der ausgezeichnete Schlachter vor Ort und die Tatsache, dass die Liegen/Sonnenschirme kostenlos sind, sofern man etwas verzehrt. Allerdings ist ein Auto unverzichtbar, da die Entfernung zum Ort doch gut zwei Kilometer beträgt und die Straßen nicht zum Spaziergang geeignet sind. Ein negativer Punkt zu dem Apartment muss allerdings erwähnt werden, es gibt nur eine gemeinsame Terrasse mit dem Nachbarapartment. Zum Glück war dieses während unseres Aufenthalts nicht belegt, sodass wir die Terrasse alleine nutzen konnten und sogar den Esstisch der Nachbarn zur Verfügung hatten. Ansonsten hätten wir uns sicherlich nicht so wohl gefühlt, da die Privatsphäre dann doch erheblich eingeschränkt gewesen wäre. Auch die Matratze ist bei dem ohnehin schon relativ kleinem Bett erneuerungsbedürftig, da sie durchgelegen ist und man sich damit ständig näher kommt. Dies trägt nicht zu einem entspannten Schlaf bei. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Séjour très agréable dans une région encore préservée.

Appartement très confortable, décoré avec beaucoup de soin dans une résidence de standing avec piscines et à proximité d'une plage magnifique, quasi déserte. Tout était réuni pour passer d'excellentes vacances !

nous y avons passé une superbe semaine- appartement très propre conforme aux photos -la résidence est très propre et très calme- les personnes a la réception sont extrêmement aimables et serviables- ce n'est pas le nord de l'ile bien plus fréquenté par les touristes- le sud est bien plus sauvage plus authentique- les petites criques aux eaux turquoises sont nombreuses- les restaurants de Makrygialos en bord de mer sont très bons et peu chers- voiture obligatoire- un lieu de vacances parfait avec ou sans enfants- nous le recommanderons certainement - petit détail il manque juste un micro onde pour que tout soit parfait... allez y vous ne serez pas décu

Nous sommes une famille de 2 adultes et 2 ados (12 et 15 ans) et avons passé 15 jours de vacances dans cet appartement en Crète. Points positifs : L'endroit est très agréable, nous n'avons pas eu un nuage, T° de plus de 30°C avec souvent du vent chaud. L'appartement est récent, très propre et très bien décoré, les photos de l'intérieur sont conformes. Le complexe est assez calme et comprend 2 piscines et une pataugeoire. Makrigialos est à environ 2 km, les plages de sable sont peu fréquentées, les restaurants très accueillants, très bons et les prix abordables. Une voiture est nécessaire. Points négatifs: l'appartement est au RDC devant un autre bloc. Il est un peu petit pour 4 personnes de taille adulte (45 m²); nous avions misé sur la ou les terrasses comme décrits dans les détails & appréciations mais il n'y en a bien qu'une et assez petite (4mx1.5). Il n'y a pas de séparation avec les voisins qui sont du coup très proches (heureusement les familles qui s'y sont succédées étaient très gentilles). Il n'y avait pas de table ni chaises pour manger à l'extérieur, seulement un salon bas qui ne permet pas d'admirer la vue lointaine de côté sur la mer. Il n'y avait pas non plus de micro-ondes ni de lave vaisselle. Nous n'avons pas su nous raccorder à la WIFI même après l'aide de la conciergerie. Les chaines de TV ne fonctionnaient pas jusqu'au dernier jour ou un technicien est passé pour les voisins. Nous avons eu plusieurs coupures de courant généralisées. Malgré cela, nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Makrigialos et serions très heureux d'y retourner.

Bel appartement

Très bel appartement dans une résidence avec piscine.Le logement est petit mais très fonctionnel.Il est bien équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût.Bémol: il n'y a pas de table pour manger sur la terrasse ( un salon à la place)...ce qui est dommage en vacances.Nous avions la chance de ne pas avoir de voisins ce qui a évité la promiscuité sur le balcon. A l'accueil, Areti est très aimable , souriante et n 'a pas hésité à appeler elle même le centre de plongée pour mon mari afin qu'un interlocuteur français le rappelle.Elle nous a donné de bons tuyaux de visites.A noté, nous étions sur place pour la finale de l' Euro.Un écran a été installé près de la piscine et bières et raki nous ont été offert. La résidence est calme .

Lovely holiday, great apartment

The apartment was beautiful. Just as it looks in the pictures and three lovely pools which were never too crowded so nice and relaxing. The apartment has everything you need, comfy bed, good shower, an outdoor seating area, and is a good base for exploring the east of Crete. Definitely hire a car as the nice beaches and restaurants in town are a forty minute walk. There are lots of restaurants in town that serve good food and fresh fish, and not too busy so a good holiday for relaxing. The weather was fantastic too. Gavin was very helpful and prompt at answering our questions, the staff at the apartment were very friendly lpful and gave good recommendations. We would recommend the koufonisi boat trip, ammoudara beach (the drive there is beautiful and the beach is lovely), and Chrissi island.

Impressive

Booking the apartment with Gavin was easy. He was very responsive and helpful. The apartment is exactly what we needed and Makrigialos itself is a great location; not too touristy but still enough bars and restaurants to ensure you can eat and drink at a different place every night if you want to. We especially liked Olympio bar for lunch or to use the beach facilities, diskari beach and taverna for a day at the beach with hammocks and both dragons cave and Petra bay were our favourite restaurants, but it’s fair to say we didn't have a bad experience anywhere. Overall a great holiday, we will be back.

Had a perfect holiday!

We had a lovely 2 week stay here in the summer holidays. The apartment is very modern and clean. It was furnished to a high standard and had everything you needed. We did a mixture of sitting by the pool which was perfect for the days you didn't want to venture out and also hired a car to travel to beaches such as 'scramble cove'. The restaurants in Makrygialos are really good. We'll definitely be back!

Tranquil setting with plenty of hospitality

Flat was clean and had everything you needed, including a dish washer. Our flat was perfectly positioned on the corner, just away from the pool. Would strongly recommend the resort and the flat to people looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Fantastic apartment - highly recommended

The accommodation was exceptionally clean and extremely well equipped. There is a choice of 3 pools at the complex plus a paddling pool for toddlers (not that there were any when we were there). The staff are very friendly and speak a multitude of languages. The closest beach is literally just over the road and there are dozens of others within a short drive from base. I recommend 4G so much that I booked it for next year while I was sitting out by the pool!

This place is paradise!

We had an amazing holiday here. The apartment was small but clean and well equipped and nicely decorated. It was right by the pools and the children spent most of the time swimming. The gardens were beautifully maintained and the owners were welcoming, very friendly and helpful with any queries we had. The complex is situated out of the main village, but we had a hire car and liked it being quieter and away from the busy village. There are some beautiful beaches nearby - our favourite was Green beach which has hammocks you can hire and a lovely taverna - the best food we ate in Crete. A wonderful holiday - thank you! We thoroughly recommend this property.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce joli appartement bien décoré et fonctionnel. Le coin "chambre enfant" est petit mais juste ce qu'il faut pour y mettre un lit superposé et une table de nuit, ce qui est pratique pour l'intimité de chacun. Possibilité de manger dehors sur le balcon/terrasse. Les 2 piscines sont superbes, la plage de Makrigialos est à moins de 10min en voiture et il y a aussi une magnifique crique (en direction du restaurant Dragon's cave). Pour faire ses courses il y a plusieurs superettes dans le centre ville de Makrigialos sinon vous pouvez aussi aller jusqu'à Iérapetra (25 min en voiture) pour trouver un supermarché type Lidl. Le seul bémol c'est qu'au moment où nous y étions la résidence était encore en travaux et d’autres immeubles étaient en construction du coup à certaines heures on entendait le bruit des scies électriques, ponceuses et autres. Mais dans l’ensemble nous sommes très satisfaits et Gavin, le propriétaire, est très réactif. Nous avons échangé seulement par mails et sms, il nous a envoyé un plan de la résidence ainsi qu’un itinéraire détaillé depuis l’aéroport (2h de route) et des informations touristiques. Je recommande cette location!

Luxus aber doch nur 2 Sterne !!

Unser Aufenthalt im Bayview Ressort war sehr angenehm und entspannend. Die Anlage an sich ist neu und sehr gepflegt! Vor allem ist der gemeinschaftlich genutzte Pool sehr sauber und lädt zu einer Abkühlung ein. An der Rezeption wurde uns immer sehr freundlich weiter geholfen. Auf Wunsch erhält man morgens sogar frisch gebackene Brötchen. Die Lage ist sehr abgelegen vom Ortskern, direkt zwischen den vielen Gemüseplantagen. Von der Hauptstadt "Heraklion" ist es eine 2 Stündige Fahrt. Für denjenigen der den ganzen Trubel nicht braucht, ist die Brandung, die Wellen und das Meer in derOrtschaft einzigartig! Nun zum Apartment selbst: Die Bilder des Objektes wirken etwas verwirrend, und man ist überrascht wenn man die Wohnung betritt. Ein Bild der gesamten Wohnung würde etwas mehr Klarheit schaffen. Ein aktuelles Bild vom Badezimmer wäre auch sehr wünschenswert. Die Bilder entsprechen alle der Wirklichkeit. Zum Badezimmer: Schlecht gepflegte Ecken in der Dusche, Wasserhahn reparaturbedürftig, Lüfter für Abluft sehr verschmutzt. Zur Küche: Außer Geschirr und gewölbten Töpfen nur sehr wenig an Grundbedarf. Außer Salz & Pfeffer war nichts vorhanden. Wasserkocher wurde nicht benutzt, da dieser versalzt und verkalkt war. Positiv ist anzumerken, das alle Geräte und Ausstattung funktionierten und neuwertig waren. Allgemein: Die einmalige Reinigung unter der Woche kam nicht, oder sie wurde nicht bemerkt. Ansonsten wirkt die Sauberkeit nach griechischen Standard! Im großen und ganzen kann das Apartment sehr weiterempfohlen werden, vor allem wenn man Ruhe & Meer sucht. Ein Mietwagen ist sehr empfehlenswert, wenn nicht gar absolut notwendig! Anmerkung für Mietwagen-Benutzer: Die Ortschaft "Makry-Gialos" existiert in den Navigationssystemen noch nicht, deshalb sollte man sich am nächstgelegenen Ort "Koutsouras" orientieren.

Great Location, Stunning Apartment

An excellent location, in an unspoilt part of the island. A car is a necessity. The property was very comfortable with good facilities, was clean and well maintained and the air con was much appreciated after a day out in the heat. The pool and garden areas provided an attractive setting and the rooftop terrace gave us superb views of the surrounding area by day and the stars at night. An excellent service was provided by the management who were friendly and willing to offer information on the area. The beach in the resort was not over populated even in August and for the cost of a drink you can use the sunloungers and parasols provided by the beach bars. We enjoyed the local restaurants in particular Dragon's Cave, Porphyra and Kastro.

Relaxing break - just what we needed 5****

We had a lovely family holiday in Bayview. The apartment is well maintained and offers all the facilities you could want. The location is great with some wonderful views of the sea and mountains. The pool was never too busy and the beach in Makrigialos was excellent. We would certainly recommend this property. Many thanks Gavin

Lovely development

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, my kids had a small bedroom with bunk beds in and my husband and I had a double bed in the main apartment which was absolutely fine. The apartment was very well equipped, modern and clean. The air conditioning worked very well to keep the apartment cool and was not too noisy to leave on at night. We were hoping we would be able to walk into town, but it was just a bit too far, and I wouldn't have felt safe walking down the unlit road back to the apartment at night. The owner of the apartment was very helpful, and communicated very well with us. My only complaint about this block was that both the pools were very cold, to the point that normally in holiday we would all spend ages in the pool, but this year it was literally a very quick dip to cool off, or you got too cold. Some form of heating would be ideal.

Perfect

Bay View is a lovely development in a quiet area of Crete; it was clean and well maintained. The owner, Gavin, is very helpful and provided lots of great advice. He gave us maps and was always helpful and informative. The accommodation is fitted out with all the usual kitchen appliances, TV, DVD player, and was clean and well maintained; towels and some beach towels were also provided. There is a double bedroom in the studio area. There is a separate bedroom with bunk beds for our two children. It is perfect for a family of 4, but may be a little crowded with 4 adults. There is an Internet connection in the living area via a cable connection and a wireless connection close to the reception & swimming pool. Views from the terrace were beautiful, better than advertised. This area of Crete is very quite so if you are looking for a total chill out zone this is the place. There are many stunning and virtually deserted beaches within easy reach and the relaxed attitude of the locals adds to the peacefulness. If you want a little more life then the local town has several lively taverns and restaurants. It was a 2hr drive from Heraklion airport so a car is essential and if you don't have a car you will miss out on the beaches and mountain drives. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to family and friends and will stay here again if I re-visit Crete. Another striking thing about East Crete was to almost total absence of litter. A stunning area with peaceful, relaxing ambiance and excellent accommodation. Perfect.
