The Space:

Start your mornings swaying in the rocking chairs with a hot cup of coffee and beautiful mountain views, or unwind in the steamy outdoor hot tub while catching your favorite shows on the mounted TV. Fire up the charcoal grill for a Smoky Mountain cookout, or whip up meals and snacks in the fully equipped kitchen inside. Gather around the dining table or grab a seat at the breakfast bar for shared meals and conversation.



The cozy living room offers plenty of space to relax with armchairs, a plush sofa, a big screen TV, and an electric fireplace (for ambiance only, no heat). For even more fun, head to the game room where you’ll find arcade machines, a pool table and a air hockey table. There’s also a wet bar complete with a mini-fridge, microwave, and sink—perfect for quick drinks and snacks.



When it’s time to turn in, choose from a variety of sleeping arrangements: 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, a twin-over-full bunk and a twin sleeper sofa. Every bedroom includes its own TV, and the main suite even features an indoor jetted tub for the ultimate in relaxation.



Papa Bear Lodge also offers practical perks like a washer and dryer for fresh towels, free Wi-Fi to stay connected, a flat and paved driveway for easy access, and keyless entry for smooth check-in.



Guest Access:

Guests will receive check-in instructions, including the entrance code, two days prior to arrival. You'll have complete access to the entire cabin and all amenities.

★ STARTER KITS ★

We do supply a starter kit including bar soap, liquid dish soap, dish tabs for dishwasher, toilet paper, laundry pod and paper towels. This will prevent you to have to go to the store the first night but plan to buy more so you are covered during the full length of your stay.



★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★

Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.



★ PETS ALLOWED ★

We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. (Contact us about the additional fees)



★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★

Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.



★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★

We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

As parents, we know that traveling with the kiddos requires additional luggage. To simplify your stay, we have a pack and play and a high chair for your convenience.



★ NATURE ★

Being in nature means you may encounter some wildlife. Inside the cabin, you might see some harmless insects despite our regular pest control process. They sometimes make their way in between cleans but rest assured that the place is treated regularly. Also, if you are lucky enough to spot any bears, raccoons, turkeys, or mice outside, please keep them there! They are all attracted to the smell of cooking food and garbage. We highly recommend you don't invite them to dinner and DO NOT FEED THEM.
