I believe we stayed at the apartment too soon after a recent fire.It was not ready for renters quite yet so our experience was not a good one.

The host never sent instructions on how to access the rental. So the day of my check in I sent a private message before leaving my home in GA which went unanswered. I arrived at the location and still had to wait an additional 30-45 minutes until I could even get a hold of anybody to figure out what unit I was in or how to access it. This was after I called multiple numbers that were attached to the unit and had to call customer service thinking that this was a scam. The Host apologize profusely that they had been sick and they would be there shortly to let me in. As well as saying that they were going to refund a portion for my trouble which I never was refunded. There is no communication whatsoever from this house.

The place was absolutely filthy when I arrived. Wasnt swept or wiped down, cookware was filthy, toothpaste in the bathroom sink, bath matt was covered in dirt and debris. Internet was also unavailable for 99% of my stay. It didnt help either that I was unable to contact the host for the most part. The worst part was the presence of fleas (I think thats what they were). I woke up every morning with a new bites on my feet and ankles. A sign was left on my door to clear all items from the kicthen and bathroom so people could come in for an intense bombing and spraying for pests, however, no one showed up to do so. I decided to end my stay early, and upon requesting a refund for my last week, I was ignored completely. To anyone thinking about staying here, youd be better off sleeping in your car

There was nothing charming about this "LOFT" When we got there we were advised that the fan had been taken down because it was not working. No offer to move us to another room.When we were walking to the room 101 there was a guy with long dreads and jean below his butt with his underwear hanging out in the next room. We accepted the room since it had already been paid for. We went to dinner and when we returned the room reeked of weed. We called the girl Mikitra? She offered to call all the neighbors to see if they were smoking and move our room. Why didn't she offer another room when we checked in. At this point I declined and ask to speak to the host Beth but did not hear back from her. So we went to the front desk to say we were leaving and no one was in the office.I messaged Beth numerous time but finally got a message back from her to contact VRBO for a refund

We stayed 2 nights, but then left despite having paid for 10 nights. A major reason for leaving was that ComCast or the WiFi was not available and my wife had a deliverable which required access to the Internet to complete.However, the stay was going down hill. The unit itself looks very appealing - it was clean and functional, but the bed is on wheels and every time either of us moved, the bed moved. The couch was very uncomfortable as well (we tried to have one of us in the bed and the other on the couch). I would likely have gone from a 5 to a 4 over the bed and couch, so I would not read too much into that. What pushed it to a 2 was that we could hear our neighbours and they kept us up from 11 PM - 1 AM on Saturday at least (Friday seemed to be much better). We could also hear loud vehicles on the road quite easily. Finally, our neighbours smoke could be smelled within our unit which made me concerned that we would be dinged for smoking in our unit (in fairness we were not). The property manager was excellent and gave us back I would estimate 70-80% of what we had spent because of the lack of WiFi and leaving early. At a hotel, you could complain about a room and get another one hopefully away from your neighbours, or they would speak with the unit in question and get them to quiet down, and I believe the walls would do more to keep the noise to a minimum.
