Glacier visit

Chug a lug springs was an absolutely perfect place for us to stay while visiting Glacier. The apartment is everything we anticipated and more. A newly built property, nicely equipped, great location, clean, quiet and cozy. We would definitely stay here again. Robert and Jennifer are amazing hostsand the huckleberry jam is scrumptious.

Great home, awesome location and superb owners

It was one of the best properties my family and I have stayed in. It had everything that we needed and the location was very convenient for our trip. Most of all, Jennifer, the owner was great in responding to our needs and provided us with so much useful information. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone planning to visit Glacier National Park. Thank you for the pleasant experience!!!

It was absolutely perfect!

We can't say enough about our stay at Chug-A-Springs. It was an excellent location from all of the local hot spots but yet quiet and secluded. The place was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Our host and hostess were very friendly and sent out several emails telling us about the area ahead of time which included places to visit and places to eat. They are both very knowledgable about the area and very willing to answer any questions. It was a delight to meet them both and to stay at such a nice home away from home. If we plan another vacation in the area no doubt this will be our forever place to stay.

Great space, operates like shared living

This is one of the more comfortable rentals I’ve stayed in- the kitchen is well stocked with cookware and basic spices, there is easy to use climate control, you can borrow sunscreen, bug spray, or bear spray, and there is a kettle for the tea drinkers instead of a keurig. During my stay I saw deer and turkeys out front, which was nice. There are also a few tradeoffs you may want to consider: - You have shared walls with the hosts with quite a bit of noise bleed. I could hear meals, conversations, and some upset pups when they would leave the house. Closer quarters than I anticipated; this felt more like staying in someone’s house with them at home. - One night our shared smoke detectors went off due to an issue in the owner’s side of the house and a ladder had to be procured from offsite to fix the issue, creating a late night. Hopefully just a one-off issue. - The internet speed was too unreliable to FaceTime family, so keep this in mind if you’d like to use this as a remote work spot.

Chug-A-Lug for the WIN!

Robert and Jenny hit it out of the park again! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The serenity and solitude when you walk in- the conveniences and lay out worked just perfect. Opening the windows and smelling the fresh air, or launching off to see Glacier it’s the perfect location! Bed is super comfy, bathroom is perfect and reminiscent of those at The Fort. You pull right up and park right next to Chug A Lug- and you feel like you’re at your own home. The unit feels like something you’d own- nestled among a grove of mature pine trees and minutes from Glacier- in my opinion- the best rental closest to Glacier yet close to Columbia Falls- Whitefish and Kalispell. I already booked my next stay there. Couldn’t recommend this rental more! Thanks Jenny and Robert for all these great places to stay! Love them all!

Esperienza fantastica

Jennifer e Roberto sono super. La casa è stupenda e dotata di tutto. Siamo stati solo 2 notti ma ci sarebbe piaciuto stare 2 settimane tanto è confortevole la casa. La loro gentilezza ci ha stregato. La casa è curata nei minimi dettagli e si dorme da Dio. Consigliata a tutti, provatela!!

We are a friendly couple that loves to Host. We originally stumbled into Hosting because of a loft we had above our garage. Well that loft ended up being a hit so we added 2 more additional spaces for guests to rent at that property. As Hosting continued to grow on us over the years, we decided it was time to expand. In May of 2019 we broke ground to begin the building of Fort Williamson Glacier Vacation Rentals. We completed building by June of 2020 and were able to open our doors to begin accepting guests. Fort Williamson Glacier Vacation Rentals offers unique tiny home cabin lodging in the setting of an "Old West Town". The different themed units are a Sheriff 's Jail, Roses Place, Joe's Saloon, Madam Woman's Inn, and Kim's Trading Post. Each of these cabins are uniquely decorated with antiques to reflect the true theme of the cabins. In Jan 2024 we again made plans to expand and set out on that mission to build on our 33 acre Columbia Mountain mountain side property across the highway from Fort Williamson. By Jan 2025 we completed the building of Chug A Lug Springs, our new home with a rental apartment above the garage right at the base of Columbia Mountain. Chug A Lug Springs is a family friendly space so with Fort Williamson and Chug A Lug Springs being close to each other, about 1/4 mile apart, makes it convenient for larger groups to book seperate lodging close to each other. Both of our properties are conveniently located along US Hwy 2 between Columbia Falls, Montana and Glacier National Park. The Park’s west entrance is only 15 minutes away. The Glacier International Airport is only 15 minutes away. The town of Columbia Falls, that has everything you will need is only minutes away. Downtown Whitefish is about 20 minutes away.

We have a Fantastic Central Location as this property is conveniently located just a hop skip and jump off US Hwy 2 E between Columbia Falls, Montana and Glacier National Park. The Park’s west entrance and west Glacier Amtrak station is only 15 minutes away. The Glacier International Airport is only 15 minutes away. only 20 minutes from Whitefish Montana. The town of Columbia Falls, that has everything you will need is just minutes away. Additionally we are attentative onsite hosts which is very rare to find these days. We can always be found nearby or onsite just in case something is needed.
