Spectacular residence overlooking Rome and Tivoli located on the ruins of the Villa of Quintilio Varo, (leader of Augusto Imperatore who lived 2000 years ago) In the heart of nature, relaxing and pleasant, yet at the same time only 30 minutes from Rome, 10 minutes from Villa di Adriano, Villa d'Este, Villa Gregoriana and the Republican temples of Sibilla and Vesta. And for your pleasure at 5 'the Terme di Tivoli with the sulphurous thermal waters, or the Marco Simone Golf club at 20', or skiing at 45 'or the sea at 60'. Quiet walks await you in the city center of Tivoli to discover a village through more than 2000 years of history while tasting excellent wine and real Italian cuisine.
In a large garden (5000 sqm) with lawn, flowers, citrus fruits and fabulous centuries-old olive trees there are the main villa and the guest house, both on the sides of a large swimming pool (120 sqm) which is the heart of life in the garden. Ì our little 2 dogs. 4 cats, many hens and 2 ducks complete the peaceful and relaxing image. In addition, you can also enjoy long walks in our olive grove (70000q) in the company of 6 small donkeys, jog or mountain bike, or meditate in front of the Vatican dome or have a bbq on the edge of our pond full of colorful fish overlooking Rome and Tivoli. Un Oasis !

Un splendide oasis de verdure et de calme où nous avons passé une semaine paisible (après les longues mais belles visites à Rome). Nous étions seuls avec le gardien et les 3 adorables compagnons canins.

Magnifique!!

La propriété au sein de laquelle se situe le logement indépendant est magnifique, la piscine immense et la vue sur Tivoli de la piscine juste waouh . Le logement est fonctionnel, propre et bien équipé. Lillina est une personne adorable, prévenante avec ses hôtes et donne plein de super conseils pour visiter la région. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances et nous la remercions pour tout ! Ps: il y a des chiens sur la propriété, ils sont tous adorables , mes enfants (5 et 7 ans) étaient très tristes de les quitter.

A Simply Delightful Property

We stayed here for 10 nights and the location just outside Tivoli provided the perfect base for us to explore Rome and the surrounding area. The property itself is a lovely place to stay, with host Lillina very attentive, and the four beautiful dogs the most friendly companions you could ask for - we all loved having them around. The accommodation is all on one level next to the pool and had enough room for ourselves and our two children. You have your own privacy when you need it, and it is very easy to access the swimming pool. The pool is great, and we often swam late into the warm evenings as the sun went down to keep us cool. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and well kept by Antonio the gardener, who also took us to see their beautiful donkeys! Travel into Rome is best done by car, which is not as daunting as it sounds, with parking readily available and the roads all good quality. We also took a trip to Pompeii which was just over 2 hours in the car, but again high quality motorway with easy access to the site. We would highly recommend staying here either for a peaceful few days away, or a base to explore the surrounding area. Thank you Lillina and Antonio - we hope to be back, and please say hello to all our doggy friends!

Perfect holidays with Lillina, Ralph, Carolina, Mix and Benny!

We spent a fantastic holiday in Villa Montanara in Tivoli and had a wonderful rest. Everything was perfect - the apartment, the wonderful garden with the many olive trees and the wonderful pool. Lillina was an excellent and attentive host who told us lots of interesting things about Tivoli and Rome. Her adorable dogs gave us a lot of joy. Feeding the sweet donkeys was always a highlight. We really felt very comfortable here and would love to come back here again. Warm greetings to Lillina and her darlings Benny, Mix, Ralph and Carolina! Steffen, Anja and Livia :-)

Wonderful, loved it

Wonderful holiday. Absolutely amazing host. Lillina was so lovely and was so responsive if we needed anything. Even told us about local history, where to go for food and how to get to Rome, such a lovely person. Lilinna made our stay very special.

Domaine avec piscine, proche de Rome, calme et reposant

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le domaine est très joli et au calme, avec une belle vue sur Tivoli. La piscine est un vrai plus après les journées de visite ou lors des journées détente. Notre hôte a été très sympa également.

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern (2 und 5 Jahre) dort. Ein Riesen Grundstück mit riesigem Pool. Es war ein Traum. Die Wohnung selbst ist nicht sonderlich groß, reicht aber vollkommen aus. Wir haben viel am Pool gelebt. Die zwei Hunde haben unsere Kinder verzaubert. Wir kommen gern wieder! Einziger Haken mit kleineren Kindern ist, dass man mit dem Auto nach Tivoli zum Essen muss.

tolle Woche Aufenthalt

Ich verbrachte eine Woche mit meiner Familie bei Aquilina. Die Gastgeberin war sehr hilfsbereit und nett zu uns. Kinder fühlten sich im Schoß der Natur in Gesellschaft von Haustieren großartig. Die Gastgeberin scheute keine Zeit für Gespräche und erzählte eifrig von Tivoli. Wir werden unseren Aufenthalt noch lange in Erinnerung behalten. Es war wirklich toll.

Erholsame Tage in Tivoli

Wir haben ein paar wundervolle Tage in Adellinas Ferienhaus verbracht. Sie ist eine wuderbare Gastgeberin. Es war alles für ein 1. Frühstück charmant vorbereitet. Alles war sehr sauber und es war auch in der Küche wirklich alles in ordentlicher Qualität (Töpfe, Pfannen, Geschirr) vorhanden. Das Higlight war der Pool und der gepflegte Garten mit seinen reifen Früchten an den Bäumen. Der wirkliche Star aber ist Adellina charmant und unkompliziert und praktisch. Liebe Adellina wir haben uns bei dir sehr wohlgfühlt. Grazie molto. Renate und Gottfried

Ferienwohnung auf traumhaftem Grundstück

Herzlicher Empfang durch die Besitzerin auf dem wunderbaren Grundstück und eine erste Bewirtung. Der Garten und der große Pool übertreffen die Fotos bei weitem, einfach wunderbar. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet, der große Olivenhain mit den vielen Tieren beeindruckend. Uns wurde jederzeit mit Rat und Tat geholfen. Die nächste U-Bahnstation (Rom, B-Linie) war in 20 Minuten erreichbar (P+R Parkhaus 1,50 € für 24 Stunden), sodass man schnell im Stadtzentrum war. Sehr gute Gastronomie in Tivoli, insbesondere im Bereich der alten Brücke und der Wasserfälle. Ein Auto ist jedoch unabdingbar, auch zum Einkaufen. Es waren zwei herrliche Wochen, herzlichen Dank an Lillina!

Great stay

We had a great stay as a family with teenagers. It lacked nothing,. Lilianne was helpfull and spoiled us with crostata, breakfast for the first day, vegetables from the garden and olive oil. It is a calm place with a large pergola at a big, nice, clean swimming pool with outdoor shower and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Great place to stay. Despite great heat, it was a good night's sleep; the windows can all be opened because of the the mosquito screens in the windows and there were fans.

Eine perfekte Unterkunft für Familien

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus. Lillina ist eine zuvorkommende Gastgeberin und alles hat perfekt geklappt. Die Gastgeberin selbst wohnt nicht auf dem Objekt, ist aber immer telefonisch für Fragen und Hilfe erreichbar (Englischkenntnisse super) und kommt auch bei Bedarf vorbei. Auf dem 30 ha großen Grundstück befinden sich neben Hühnern, zwei Katzen und zahlreiche Esel - was insbesondere für unseren Sohn ein Highlight war. Um das gesamte Anwesen und den Pool kümmert sich der wundervolle Housekeeper Antonio, der immer vor Ort ist, sich aber im Hintergrund hält, so dass man sich nie gestört fühlt, aber dennoch immer jemanden vor Ort hat, für offene Fragen oder benötigte Hilfe. Antonio hat uns mehrfach einen Rundgang über das riesige Gelände (Olivenhain mit verstecken Höhlen und Ruinen) gegeben und wir konnten die Tiere füttern. Natürlich haben wir auch etwas von dem Haus gemachten und fanatischen Olivenöl mitgenommen. Der Pool ist riesig und abfallend (vom 1m auf ca 2m Tiefe), so dass im vorderen Bereich auch problemlos Nichtschwimmer ihren Spaß haben. Parkplätze sind vor der Tür, das Grundstück ist abgesichert, so dass man nachts auch die Fenster bedenkenlos offen lassen kann. Kleines Manko war die fehlende Klimaanlage (bei 39 Grad Außentemperatur), aber selbst das hat uns dank der Ventilatoren nicht gestört. Das Haus ist gemütlich, hat Küche, Bad mit Dusche, Schlafzimmer und ausziehcouch im Wohnbereich. Ausstattung in Küche und Bad enthält alles was man benötigt. Handtücher, Waschmaschine vorhanden. Alles in allem ein absolut perfektes, ruhiges Anwesen in Tivoli (wunderschöne kleine Stadt 30 min Fahrt von Rom entfernt und absolut sehenswert). Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very Nice 🌸

We had a wonderful holiday in Lilli ’s little paradise with beautiful pool and views of Tivoli. We enjoyed the peace and quiet placere, and still close to town. A beautiful olive grove and a lot of cute animals (dogs, cats and donkeys). It takes a car to get to Tivoli and out shopping.

tranquillité , très belle maison propre avec tous le confort pour passer un long séjour

endroit très calme , belle propriété, une hotte très agréable, aux petits soin pour ces vacanciers.. une très belle attention pour le petit déjeuner à notre arrivée , tout le confort pour cuisiner , de l huile d olive de sa récolte personnelle. , de très très bon œufs de ces poules .. que dire je recommande cette location .. nous sommes allez cette semaine mais l été vous avez droit à une jolie piscine , une grande table de jardin et un barbecue.. merci à cette hotte de sa gentillesse, de sa disponibilité.. quelque jour merveilleux à 30 mn de Rome ..

Wonderful Country location

This was a super countryside location near Tivoli with fabulous gardens and pool. Super size for myself and my daughter. We really enjoyed the gardens both in the day and evening. The pool is a fantastic size too. We also loved the chickens that roamed the gardens. A car is useful for getting to Tivoli itself where the fabulous gardens of D’este are. Also Tivoli a lovely town to explore and not far into Rome on the train. Would highly recommend as Lillina quite spoiled us with eggs and her own olive oil and was always on hand to help with anything.

Vacanze da sogno!

Ricorderemo sempre con grande piacere le nostre vacanze estive presso "la Montanara" della signora Aquilina. Il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e immergersi in una "dolce vita", circondati da uno stupendo giardino con fiori e alberi che regalano generosamente i loro frutti ogni giorno, meravigliosi animali che offrono la loro simpatia ed il loro affetto a coloro che sapranno avvicinarli, una piscina grande e ben curata, a completa disposizione per rinfrescare le calde giornate e serate estive. La residenza si trova in una zona strategica per visitare Tivoli, con le sue ville e i suoi giardini (Villa d'Este la nostra preferita, visitata un venerdì sera completamente illuminata, grazie ad un orario di visita esteso fino alle 23.45), e naturalmente per raggiungere comodamente Roma e tutte le sue bellezze. Infine, ma non meno importante, la gentilezza della sig.ra Aquilina, con la sua ospitalità e premura, è stata per noi preziosa per non farci sentire mai a disagio, ma come se fossimo a casa. Un caro saluto da tutti noi!

Zwei wunderschöne Wochen verbrachten wir in Lillinas herrlichem Anwesen! Die Villa Montanara bot uns einen idealen Rahmen für einen von Erholung, Kultur und ein bisschen Abenteuer geprägtem Urlaub. Der riesige Garten mit dem tollen Pool war nicht nur für unsere beiden Kinder (11 und 15 Jahre) perfekt. Alles war sehr gepflegt und sorgte für das richtige Ambiente zum Spielen, Baden oder Lesen. Die Unterkunft ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und war für unsere Bedürfnisse absolut ausreichend- wenn auch mal wieder mit der Hand gespült werden musste ;-) Die überaus freundliche Gastgeberin war tageweise anwesend (sie bewohnt ein separates Haus) und gab uns - teilweise auch ganz unkompliziert per WhatsApp - hilfreiche Tipps, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir verbrachten insgesamt 3 Tage in Rom, dessen Zentrum mit dem Auto in etwa 45 Minuten erreichbar ist, waren in den angrenzenden Bergen wandern, besuchten das gegenüberliegende Tivoli zu Fuß (knapp 3km), wobei Villa dˋeste unbedingt empfehlenswert ist, waren in der Villa Adriana, am Lago di Albano… Eine tolle Region mit Schönwettergarantie, die der deutsche Sommer so nicht bieten kann. Danke für diese tolle Zeit - wir können das Ferienobjekt zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Familie Caspar aus Thüringen ;-)

Simply perfect

We spent a marvelous week at this house in Tivoli. The owner, Lillina, was the most charming and welcoming host. She perfectly took care of us. By way of example, she welcomed us by home made crostata, home made figue jam and home made olive oil. You have all you need in this house. I definitely recommend!

Our stay

Our stay in the house was so Nice.. we family of 3 ( 1 child,8) had a great stay at lillina’s house.. we loved the Place very quiet and with the sun we stayed at the pool also.. our daughter was in love with the animals, aspecially dog Benny. Rome is easy by train. We hope to come back Some time

Fantastische plek

Een prachtige rustige lokatie met veel dieren in de buurt. We waren hartelijk ontvangen. Zeer gastvrij. Het zwembad is fantastisch. Kortom we komen zeker een keer terug.
