All around terrific

I had a remote work week in this delightful studio condo, and I will definitely return. For work purposes the internet was perfect, and the view is amazing. The condo is well-appointed, and the location at the north end of the boardwalk gives easy access to all of the oceanfront’s restaurants, etc, at a less-populated part of the beach.

Perfect view!

The view is unbelievable! The location is at the North end of the boardwalk, less crowded that the more central areas. The place was clean, nicely decorated, has plenty of storage and did I mention the view!!!! We didn't use the pool, it was only open daily 11-7, my prime beach time. Wonderful lawn for sitting and relaxing if you get tired of the sand. I had no reason to contact the manager, so cannot evaluate them I would go back here!!

Nice but with wrinkles

Overall this is a good place to spend a long weekend. It would be a little small for a longer stay unless you spend all your time outside. Some o.k. furniture and a comfortable bed. Great view of the ocean. Decent size television with the basic cable channels, but no USB port (needed if you like hooking up an Amazon fire stick or Google gadget). There were some irritations, however. There was one partly used roll of toilet paper. Annoying! A number of light bulbs didn't work. The hot water was very long in coming. The manager told us it was an old building. Funny thing is, we stayed in this very building earlier this year, in the apartment directly below the one we were in, and had no problem getting hot water. The rugs in the main room and the bathroom were dirty. The kitchen was an odd combination of some high-end appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher) and very cheap utensils. Maybe they were worried about people walking off with them. The shower insert was either poorly installed or super cheap, since it creaked like crazy when we stood on it. I realize a number of these points are nit-picking, and I did say at the top this is a good place for a weekend, but my habit in writing reviews is to provide information. The choice on whether to book is yours.

Great beach get-away

Lovely studio apartment that has everything you need to for a great vacation at the beach. Although small, it is very roomy and we were very comfortable during our stay. Kitchen was great as we had several meals in the apartment. Being very airy and open, it was great to be directly on the ocean, just steps from the Boardwalk. We are looking for options for next year to stay here again.

Cute condo for a beach getaway

Great location . Loved the ocean view , the pool and the private yard . The close proximity to the end of the boardwalk on 40th street is so convenient to everything. Very quiet and relaxing .

Great Vacation

The property was nicely located in the quieter end of VA beach. This meant no problem getting a great spot on the beach at any time. The studio has a nicely furnished kitchen to make all meals and the freezer has an automatic ice maker which was great. The location to 7-11 was nice for fill in stuff. The main parts of the boardwalk is a nice walk and also the trolley was very convenient to go further south. Go to Pelon Tacos it is close and a bargain and delicious!! I would definitely go back!!!

Beautiful view of the ocean

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing time at this lovely studio apartment. It was very clean, nicely decorated and very efficient. The full kitchen was great for fixing breakfast. It was nice to come back during our conference lunch break. Even though it was chilly and rainy, we felt like we were close enough to enjoy the ocean beauty from our dining table. We also appreciated that it is just beyond where the boardwalk ends so it was very quiet. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Clean & comfortable studio!

Very clean studio with all the amenities you need for a relaxing get-away. Efficient use of space, comfortable furniture, plenty of storage for clothes. The complex has a nice pool, convenient to restaurants, pretty common area on the beach, and a gorgeous view from the balcony! The only challenge was finding the actual unit when we first arrived but one phone call pointed us in the right direction. We look forward to visiting again, and would recommend this to our friends. Thank you!

Great Place

This area of VA Beach is lovely. Other than the noise from the fighter jets, which isn't during the night, it is peaceful and tranquil. The property is extremely well maintained with a lovely oceanside lawn and clean pool area. The place felt safe and secure, and even though there were a lot of people around, it was quiet. As far as the studio I rented, it is very nice. The view is spectacular, which is what I was after. The unit was incredibly clean and the bed was very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped (although I'm not big on plastic dishes) and even had a blender, non-Teflon pots and pans, and a small extra coffee maker (non Keurig), for which I was grateful. I did wish there was a balcony, or at least screens on the sliding door -- I would've turned off the AC on the cooler days and just enjoyed the breeze. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Couple's Getaway

This rental was the perfect, cozy, sweet getaway for my husband and I one year anniversary. Nice location at the end of the boardwalk so it wasn't as crowded. The pool was also a nice alternative to the beach. Only 2 towels were provided, and garbage bags were not provided either. Overall I would recommend!

Just what we were looking for

We loved it, it was just like it was in the ad. Clean, neat, and right on the beach. We really liked the keyless entry feature. The view was BREATHTAKING!! There are 3 things that we didnt like. 1. There was no curtain or blind at the window near kitchen area. 2. We were charged a cleaning fee but had to do most of the cleaning as per the House Rules. 3. The check out time is at 10:00 a.m. but I think it should be at least 12:00 p.m. because this not a hotel and we had to do the cleaning before leaving. Overall, we loved it. Would definitely book with VRBO again and if we came back to Virgina Beach, would stay at this location again.

Beautiful room with an amazing view

The room was gorgeous and had a perfect view of the ocean. We sat and watched dolphins from the balcony! Would recommend this place to anyone.

I loved it from the moment we got there!

The moment we got there I had a great feeling. We got mixed up on which condo it was but the original email does not give out the name of the condo facility. It was clean, very nice people. Ones who lived there and stayed there. Maybe a small suggestion. An ice machine on premises! Thank you for letting us have a wonderful experience and we plan on going next year!

Awesome!

The property was great! Inside the condo was like new! Outside was dated and needs work but we don't live on the outside. The pool was great, and location of property was excellent. Awesome sun rises! Customer service was great questions answered promptly. Would definitely recommend this again and most likely come again.

Clean ocenview studio and close to everythign

This is the second time that I've rented a property from this owner and I was pleased again. Clean, well decorated and appointed condo with a great ocean view and close to everything. The condo is located at the very end of the boardwalk so it is out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to all the boardwalk offers. Sleeps 3 comfortably with queen bed and futon. Will definitely rent again.

Beautiful compact studio apartment, comfortable bed, directly on the beach and a parking space!

Well decorated and furnished, a beautiful space and you can't beat the location! The fine print stayed that linen/towels were not included, it should have been stated more clearly from the onset. We were able to rent these items for an additional fee. There was only half a roll of toilet paper, no tissues, and no stock of either in the closets, so we made sure to ration it. Not a big deal, but a small touch that could have made a big difference. Pool beautiful and refreshing, tables and lawn chairs on the grass in front of the sand were a huge plus! Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Great place!

This place is a gem! The location is perfect. It's on the very north side of the boardwalk, so access to the boardwalk is awesome, without all the crowds. Inside is studio size...although the bed is a Murphy bed, it's a full queen and super comfortable. Updated kitchen and bathroom are a plus. There's plenty of storage, great ambiance and the step out balcony offers an amazing video! Perfect for two people,..you won't be disappointed! Thanks so much!
