It was always a great pleasure to come home to Casa Blanca after a daily tour of gorgeous attractions in Tucson like the Saguaro National Park (East and West districts), the Catalina State Park, the Sabino Canyon, the Desert Museum in addition to a lot of trail hikes to choose from!!! Casa Blanca is also close to Tombstone and Bisbee. Lori also recommended Boyce Thompson Arboretum in the mountain town of Superior and we were all happy to enjoy the beautiful scenery of 135 acres of garden settings from around 10 regions of the world on 300 plus acres of scenic Sonoran Desert!!! Everyone who visits Tucson should not miss this arboretum.Casa Blanca is attractive inside and out, very spacious, comfortable and full of unique and interesting pieces of art work. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an exercise room as well with beautiful views around; Clean pool in the relaxing backyard and an attractive long Paved driveway. Stay at Casa Blanca in the Catalina foothills! You’ll be glad you did!

Comfortable and relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this home. The views were phenomenal and we felt at home. There were plenty of supplies available and a lot of great dining nearby. The master bedroom had black out shades which was a plus. If you are looking to relax and reset, this is the place!

Beautiful views, lots of character, and lots of stairs

We enjoyed our stay in this home which had a lovely view of mountains from backyard by the pool. Deer roamed by one morning and many birds were singing. There were so many fun arts and crafts all over the house we felt like we constantly discovered something new like colorful masks hanging around the breakfast nook, or mountain painting above the patio, and giraffe and Indian statues just to name a few. A drawback for some may be all the stairs and different levels.It was a great getaway for a weekend.

Fabulous in Every Way

Great location. Well-appointed home with everything needed for a month-long stay. Beds very comfortable, linens abundant and high quality. Our questions were answered in a very timely fasion from owner. Would definitely return to this lovely home.

A Tucson Treat

We loved our time in Tucson and Lori's beautiful home with its amazing views (gorgeous mountains in one direction and the twinkling distant lights of Tucson in the other) certainly added in a huge way to our visit. The house affords so much privacy because of the layout of the bedrooms, but also because of the various porches, decks and outdoor areas. We were in Tucson during a bit of a cool spell (though way warmer than our home in Boston!!) so didn't venture into the pool but it certainly is lovely and looks inviting were it to have been warmer! Hot tub was great! Beds were super comfortable and the house was spotless. What was significantly different about this VRBO vs the many others in which we've stayed was the amazing collection of art: it was so much fun to continuously discover another piece of sculpture or other artwork in nooks and crannies throughout the house and on the walls. Wow. A real treat! We would definitely return if we return to Tucson!

Quiet and peaceful

The property is in a beautiful location and was quiet and restful. The home has unique and eclectic furnishings and was comfortable for our family. The outdoor spaces were also very nice.

Desert Gem

Wow, the pictures on the listing do not do this house justice! We have family that live in Tucson and have been looking for the perfect house to stay at when we visit them, and now we have found it. We have stayed at several homes between Tucson and Glendale, but none can compare to this one. First of all, the views of the desert were amazing. Also the city view at night was so beautiful. It has several patios/balconies that provide those views. The house has everything you need to cook. The beds are THE most comfortable we have ever slept on. The table was big enough for all of us to have dinner together and also play board games. And the living room had enough sofa and chair for all of us to watch a movie together. Such a great vibe and relaxing atmosphere. We really only left the home for one day to go wine tasting in Senoita, it’s only about an hour away. Lori was very responsive and has been the best host we have ever had, she wanted us to enjoy the home and she made sure we did!!! Overall there is nothing that this desert gem of a home could not provide for our family get together. Close enough to the grocery store yet far enough from neighbors so that we could enjoy the beauty of the desert and family time. Thank you Lori for sharing this amazing comfortable home with great views and cool vibes!!!

Authentic Tucson home that’s away in the Catalina mountains with spectacular views.

Our family met for a special time. It was the perfect place to be together & yet have privacy. The house is like a museum with the unique artwork. Having grown up in Tucson, I knew this was a great area & easy access to both sides of town, & downtown, again it’s so perfect that it’s only gotten better. This would be a sweet place for any occasion, fun As well as chill. I’ll be going back.

Tucson Home in the Foothills

We had a wonderful stay. The property is lovely and interesting with vibrant colors and lots of artwork. We were not able to enjoy the pool because the weather was quite cool, but it was inviting! Our group of 4 were all adults 75+ in age. I interpreted from the listing that there was a main floor bedroom and bath for the couple who have mobility issues. In fact it is a lower level bedroom and bath with stairs leading to that level. We all agreed that the home would have been better for our group had there been handrails on all the stairs, including the stairway to the home's front entrance. I can highly recommend this house for people or families on the younger side.

Tucson Gem

This home is one of the most fun and interesting places we have ever stayed. The art objects, decorating and layout are very interesting. Just walking around and looking at things is a great experience. The location is great - with views of the mountains out the back, and views of the city out the front. The access to private outdoor space is very accommodating, and welcomed by us Northerners escaping winter. The bed was very comfortable. It is clean and well supplied.

What a beautiful property!

Casa Blanca was the perfect space for our family vacation. The house is spacious, allowing us privacy on separate floors. We love cooking, and the kitchen was large, well equipped and accommodating. There was a large family room and dining room where we spent a lot of time. The patio and back yard were stunning. We got to see the mountains turn pink each evening, we could see sunrise and sunset from the master bedroom decks, and there was a glorious hot tub which we used on the night of the full moon. I highly recommend the listing!

Tucson getaway!

My husband and I had an awesome time at property! The pool was very private And the views at night from hot tub were priceless! The owner was very accommodating and understanding of our older dog we had with us that we will always be thankful for! The property is just far enough out of town for an escape but close enough it’s not the end of world if you need to drive to-town for wine or food! Hoping we are lucky enough to stay here again one day soon!

Retreat in the Foothills

My husband and I rented for a month - to escape winter, work remotely, and host our college-age kids for each spring break. The house is beautifully appointed and very comfortable for all. Workspace was great - I enjoyed watching a little quail family outside the window each morning. Perfect location! Lori was a great hostess - we'll be back!

Large home in foothills

This is a spacious home in a beautiful part of the Tucson foothills — all the homes in the neighborhood are on large lots, offering lots of privacy. Lori, our host, was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. In addition to the three bedrooms, there is a large room with workout equipment and a desk, which we used for projects that we brought with us. Patios outside each bedroom offered small private getaways, and the bigger backyard with grill was a nice gathering space for all.

Beautiful home, amazing views, perfect location!

We had a wonderful experience. Lori is The best. She Was available and responsive to any questions we had. The location is so convenient to shopping , hiking and the sites yet very quiet, surrounded by nature and beauty. The house is unique with beautiful touches And is filled with art. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and has quality cookware that I have not often found in rentals. We loved staying here and would do so again Kathy and Jim, Washington

One of a kind doesn’t do this justice

The property is loaded with art, statues, and Mexican/Adobe culture and tile. Very cool layout and very private with pool, hot tub and enclosed backyard and a great host. In the area to look at homes for 10 days, Lori has everything labeled, printed, and suggested from lights to restaurants! My wife would’ve bought it if it was on the market! Thanks for everything Lori

Privacy above all. You are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert when you're at the Pueblo house. You can have the entire 3000+ sq. ft. space to yourself or share travel time with friends. The split-level, open-spaced, high-ceiling design gives beauty and privacy even within the interior of the home. Art is abundant throughout the home. There are also multiple levels of outdoor living. Pool (unheated in winter) and BBQ area has stunning views as do the 2 balconies off of Master Bedroom Suite.
