El Anchorage I se centra alrededor de un exuberante patio tropical con una gran piscina y terraza al aire libre. La cubierta incluye sillones para que disfrutes de un día alrededor de la piscina. Hay múltiples parrillas de puertas ubicadas a cada lado del complejo. En frente de Anchorage I, encontrará un sendero para hacer ejercicio, un paseo privado hacia el océano y duchas al aire libre para que nuestros huéspedes disfruten. This room overlooked the pool - which was awesome. The beach was just across the street and we had an excellent stay. There was a park for the kids just up the street and we loved walking the promenade and checking out the exercise stations. Nice and central location.

The property was roomy, conveniently located, and even better than described. The condo complex was quiet and very well-maintained. The rental staff were very responsive, checked in online to make sure everything was fine with the unit. Our visit was an annual reunion of old friends, and we've connected in Myrtle Beach for several years. This was the best unit we've rented, and we all hope to use this as our reunion condo many more years to come.

Our unit was available earlier than planned. We arrived, used our keyless entry code as instructed for enteryy and we were very pleased. The living area is spacious and all inclusive with the kitchen, which is what we wanted for family time. The saltwater pool was not crowded and was cleaned every morning. The ocean was easily accessible with a nice accommodated area to rinse off and was just steps away from the condo. There is a nice children’s playground near the facility. The kitchen cookware needs replacing and the master bedroom carpet as well. Overall, it was a nice facility and we enjoyed our week and making memories.

The unit was nice, but the housekeeping was sub par. I don’t believe the unit had been dusted or vacuumed in some time. There was 1 partial roll of toilet paper in the whole place. There was NO soap of any kind in the entire unit. No dish soap other than 2 dishwasher packs. The sliding doors were filthy as was the coffee table in living room. There was no supplies to clean for ourselves either. We had to go purchase cleaning supplies just to feel comfortable. The upstairs bedroom’s king bed had no mattress protection and was only half covered by a queen size fitted sheet. I will say, someone dropped off what we were told was the sheet, extra towels and washcloths the next morning, but upon review we realized we were given 8 shower floor mats and 4 kitchen dishcloths (which we didn’t need or ask for). No towels or washcloths. We received them the next day. The unit was nice after we picked up drawing paper the children of the previous guests must have drawn, scrubbed the absolutely filthy bathtub in the main level bathroom, picked up pretzels on the rug, and washed the coffee table.

Unit 304 - The Anchorage

We had a great week in this beautiful and well appointed unit. The beach is literally steps away. The property is well taken care of, inside and outside. The pool is amazing and very well maintained. Parking is a breeze. The beds were comfy. The ac works great! Property Management was friendly and helpful. We’re already planning our next stay here!

Disappointed for the first time ever🙁

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been staying at The Anchorage for at least 20 years now and this was the first year we were disappointed with the condition of both our room and the property in general. We were told our room would be ready a day early but we weren’t able to come sooner but expected it to be clean since there was ample time to do so, unfortunately it was not. There was food and hair in many places on the floors. The furniture was old and knobs were falling off and drawers wouldn’t stay in the dressers. There was an extension cord with exposed insides which shocked my child when they unplugged their laptop and it took running the dryer at least 3 times to dry an average load of clothes. We never saw any property maintenance people the entire week and the pool was cloudy and dirty the majority of the time and closed one whole day also. Needless to say it was disappointing. On a more positive note, the location is great and we will most likely continue to stay there each year, but we’ll choose a different unit next time.

Family vacation

This was a great place to stay. Quiet and friendly. The condo was exactly as shown and was perfect for four adults. Only recommendation is that the cleaning crew does a better job. Seems as if they were rushed and didn’t pay attention to details. The furniture in the master bedroom was very dusty, glass tables in living room was dusty and the floor under the stairs had goldfish crackers left on the floor. However overall it was great and would come back again.

We liked the property, it could have been cleaner and the 1st floor bathtub needs alot of work. I bathed my grandchildren in the kitchen sink.

Beautiful

The Condo was beautiful and my Family loved it. The only issue we kept having was that the water got cold too quickly during our showers. We had to cut them short and sometimes had to wait for the hot water to build up. Caused too many inconveniences but the place was beautiful!!

Great getaway

Property was great! Condo was clean, great view, all the appliances work (dishwasher was SUPER LOUD however), and the walk to the beach was short and sweet! Only downside was the elevator was broken for 5 of our 7 days. We are young and can handle walking stairs but it’s nice to have that luxury on vacation.

Condo By the Beach

This condo is in the perfect location. It is directly across the street from the beach and close to many shops and other attractions. We enjoyed the pool and quiet evenings on the balcony.

Wedding trip

We were very happy. The oven was not working but was repaired while we were there and we were allowed a late check out at no charge as compensation. It was great to be back at the Anchorage. Our friends owned a condo here for years and our kids spent their summers here. A fun reunion!

Awesome Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You CANNOT beat the location! My family had a great time. The location was great, convenient to attractions, and directly across the street from the beach. The complex was clean and quiet, but unfortunately, the unit we stayed in needs to be updated. At the minimum, it needs a thorough cleaning. My family and I plan to vacation here again next year, and we've recommended Anchorage to friends and other family. But we'll be looking at staying in a different unit.

Fun Getaway

Recommend you have more dishwashing soap and kitchen garbage bags. Include some foil and storage bags. If you’re only going to include 1 roll of toilet paper, make it 2 ply. Other VRBOs we’ve used had far more non perishables items such as coffee, sugar, etc.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved it. Very clean and perfect set up for our family. Sand toys and quality linens a really nice touch. Was concerned that the fire hose cabinets in common hallways do not have any hoses. Should check with condo board about building code requirements on that.
