The Happy Mermaid is conveniently located on the south canal on the south end of Little Gasparilla Island. It features a large private dock and fast and easy access to both the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. The beautiful Little Gasparilla private beach is just a short stroll away.

The home is fully stocked with all linens and kitchen utensils and unloading your groceries is a breeze because of the dock’s proximity to the house.

The home is spacious and comfortably appointed, with four bedrooms, including four twin beds for maximum flexibility. Perfect for a large family, a group of fishing enthusiasts or even a girl’s weekend, Happy Mermaid meets everyone’s needs for an island getaway! Downstairs, a large party deck offers a perfect spot for mixing sunset drinks or relaxing after a day of fishing,

The front porch offers dramatic views of the rising sun and a comfortable spot for relaxing in the breezes and expands the living area of the home. You can sit on the front porch and watch manatees in the canal, see shorebirds and pelicans fishing and watch both the sunrise and the sunset.

Additional Guests - Rates are based upon 6 guests. An extra occupant fee of $100 per (per guest) over 6 guests will be applied to the reservation. Groups larger than 6 will be permitted only if the home is being rented by a single family and manager pre-approval is required. Please be aware that occupant restrictions will include all children.
Pet Policy - pets permitted with $100 pet fee per pet; some breeds may be prohibited due to insurance restrictions.
Cleaning Fee - minimum $350 cleaning fee
