Historic Craftsmanship
The Artistree House was lovingly built using reclaimed materials from a furniture store that was more than 100 years old. Throughout the home you'll find original heart pine flooring, a handcrafted king bed, and a custom-built ladder leading to the loft. The antique oak front door, complete with its original doorbell, was salvaged from an 1890s farmhouse in Macon, Georgia—adding even more character to this truly one-of-a-kind retreat.
Exclusive Access to the Historic Pottery Studio
Your stay includes exclusive access to the former Rising Fawn Pottery studio, originally founded by renowned American potter, quilter, and educator Charles Counts. His work has been featured in the Smithsonian and other prestigious museums.
Inside the studio, you'll discover handmade pottery on display, a peaceful creative atmosphere, and a variety of crafting materials available for guests to create their own handmade souvenir to remember their stay.
