The Neighborhood:
One of Portland’s most vibrant and walkable neighborhoods, Alberta Arts is bursting with color, culture, and creativity. Murals line the streets, and nearly every block is home to an art gallery, boutique, coffee shop, or food destination. Walk to Salt & Straw for inventive ice cream flavors, grab brunch at Tin Shed Garden Cafe, or enjoy local beers at Great Notion. On Last Thursdays of the month, the whole neighborhood turns into a lively open-air art walk with music, food, and local vendors. Alberta Park is just a few blocks away for green space and a relaxing stroll. Here, you're just 15 minutes from downtown and the airport—close to everything yet tucked into one of Portland's most beloved residential pockets.
Getting Around:
🚶 Walking — This quiet residential neighborhood is near the Beaumont Village area, with cafes, restaurants, and shops within a short walk or quick drive.
🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 24 (Fremont) and other local lines provide service to downtown Portland (~20 min).
🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations in the area. Portland's bike lanes make cycling a great option for exploring nearby neighborhoods.
🚗 Driving — Free street parking is widely available. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) typically arrives in under 5 minutes.
✈️ Airport — PDX is about 10 minutes by car or reachable via MAX from the nearby Hollywood Transit Center.
Other Things to Note:
Each townhome in the building has an adjacent, separate mother-in-law suite on the opposite side of the building, ground floor level. That space has a locked door and may be occupied by another guest during your stay unless you choose to book the entire property.
• If you’d like full access to all 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and both entrances, please inquire about booking the full home.
• While the ground floor bedroom provides step-free access, this is a multi-level home with stairs between each floor. It may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges.
• The ground-level bedroom does not have an en-suite or adjacent bathroom, and guests using this bedroom must access a bathroom located on the third level (two flights up).
