You won't find another house like this in Steamboat. Originally built in the Victorian era and transported from Lyons, Kansas to the base of the mountain in 1991, The Victorian Under the Gondola is Steamboat's most storied ski address — a genuine piece of history no designer could replicate from scratch.

This meticulously restored 7-bedroom, 8.5-bath home sleeps up to 16 guests across four extraordinary floors. A dedicated boot-dryer room keeps everyone's gear warm and ready for the next day; the gourmet chef's kitchen fuels big group breakfasts before you head for first chair. When the lifts close, the group scatters to its favorite corner of the house — the lower-level game room (pool table, wet bar, private theater) for the night owls, the third-floor library for quiet readers, and the private hot tub for everyone once the sun goes down.

Two master suites define the second floor: one a romantic retreat with its own fireplace and clawfoot soaking tub, the other opening to a private, view-filled patio. A Steinway grand piano anchors the living room, and a Tiffany-mantled fireplace gives the main level real warmth — this is not a rental, it's a home.
