Facowie Lodge - (Grand Lodge), Alojamiento de primer nivel cerca de Crane Lake, MN

Facowie (pronunciado Fa-cow-wee, llamado así por una tribu india perdida) Lodge es un refugio en el desierto ubicado justo al noroeste de Buyck, justo al lado de la vía principal de Crane Lake Road, aproximadamente 5 millas antes de la ciudad de Crane Lake.

Esta casa de dos unidades (esta unidad Grand Lodge, VRBO 4553868 y la otra unidad Loon Lodge, VRBO 4544341, se pueden alquilar por separado o combinadas para un grupo más grande) está hermosamente situada sobre un pequeño lago tranquilo llamado Kabustasa justo enfrente de Echo Lago. Es un entorno muy tranquilo sin todo el ajetreo de un gran complejo. El albergue está configurado para alojamiento para entusiastas del aire libre, vacaciones familiares o retiros de negocios.

Ambos alojamientos están configurados como unidades de dos dormitorios, uno de ellos con una sala de estar más grande. Ambos están decorados con buen gusto en un estilo del norte de Minnesota y bien amueblados con un tema "hacia el norte". Cada uno puede acomodar fácilmente hasta 4-7 personas y se puede abrir una puerta contigua para acomodar a grupos más grandes. El albergue está en ángulo, de modo que tiene una vista completa del pequeño y pintoresco lago y tiene algunas hermosas puestas de sol al oeste a través del lago.

El área está llena de muchas aventuras al aire libre y actividades para hacer. Hay muchos tipos de aventuras que se pueden encontrar en el área, incluyendo senderismo, observación de sitios, paseos en bote, recolección de arándanos, observación de aves, avistamientos de vida silvestre, caza, pesca, motos de nieve, 4 ruedas y la lista continúa.

Google Earth es un gran programa que te permite hacer zoom desde el cielo para tener una vista panorámica del lago Kabustassa y ver la hermosa zona que rodea Facowie Lodge. Este es un paquete de software de descarga gratuita que le permite acceder al terreno y a todos los lagos. Nuestro Lodge está ubicado justo al lado de una carretera pavimentada, por lo que es fácil de localizar y muy accesible.

Perfect location!!!

Everything about this place is perfect for snowmobiling. We had 2 four place trailers, trails right outside the front door, we could gas up not too far away, plenty of space, beautiful cabin. Basically everything you need!!!

Hopefully the motel room doors attaching the units came in handy. We hope you consider continuing to explore the Voyageurs National Park in the future. Snowmobiling Base

Great place to stay. Snowmobiled for 2 days in the area. Great access to the trail. Great choice of trails including ATV which could be ridden when the main trails were beaten up due to warm weather. Great kitchen, stocked with everything. Lots of room for parking with trailers. Dave the owner answers questions quickly.

Great Rental

The house is spacious, bite, and as-advertised. It’s a duplex, so if someone else is renting the other side, you will hear each other. Would definitely recommend.

Cute and welcoming!

We loved our stay at the Facowie Lodge. It was just as cute as it is in the pictures and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. The area around the lodge is beautiful and it was a northwoods getaway to remember for us and our young children. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful. We will look up the Facowie again for our next trip. One note: It was unseasonably warm when we visited and you have to dig a little to see that though the Facowie Lodge has many amenities, air conditioning isn’t one of them. It won’t be a problem for many people but you should know that going in!

Comfortable and Clean

A newer property that is well-kept and clean. Internet speed was decent for the non-outdoorsy group members. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Good access to lots of trails and lakes. There is a decent restaurant across the road if you don't feel like cooking. Had a great time!

Facowie Lodge a peaceful & beautiful retreat

The Facowie Lodge (Both Grand and Loon) are outstanding, beautifully maintained, clean and in a beautiful setting. The Lodge has everything you need to settle in for a a great visit. We spent time visiting the National park, Kettle falls (Via Boat), Echo lake, Vermillian Falls, Crane Lake and a few others. My Wife and I stayed in Grand and we had family staying in Loon, everybody raved about how beautiful the lodge and surrounding area are. It was nice to explore the area without a lot of traffic, spotty cell service & surrounded by nature. We also enjoyed some great fishing in the area. The owner David, was a great communicator (Best we have experienced in all of our VRBO trips). The information he sent us prior to the trip helped us a plan a perfect week of relaxation and activities. We highly recommend this great Lodge and hope to return at some point in the future. Thank you David for helping to make our visit special.

Just what we expected!

Property was very clean and included everything as stated in the property description. Owner checked in with me the first day and again part way through our five night stay. Kitchen items were everything we needed to cook all meals during our stay. Loved the large bathroom vanity, as it made it easy for multiple people to get ready at once.

Great place to stay up North!

We loved the property. Very spacious, clean well stocked and overall we felt like at home. The manager was very attentive and allowed us to turn the heat on before the planned heating season. We appreciated it very much. It was a pleasure to communicate with David. He sent us a lot of information about the area and points of interest. Highly recommend this property for a family getaway.!

We loved the cabin and remote site! Hiking and fishing, plus family time!

Very clean, very fresh, well appointed. The property has a nice view, great layout and space, very comfortable. Nice cookware and dinnerware. Soaps, towels, etc, readily available, everything you need is here. Very cozy with gas fireplace, good wireless internet. Dog friendly! The area has endless outdoor activities. I would enjoy staying here again.
