Everything we needed for a relaxing stay! The kid especially loved the pool table and the parents enjoyed watching football on the giant TV. Clean and comfortable space.

The area of the home is lovely. The location was great. It would have been very walkable if not for the snow and frigid temperatures. The home was warm and cozy despite the winter temperatures. The kitchen, bathrooms, and family room were well stocked. We had a an excellent visit. I would definitely rent it again.

This house was full of charm and very comfortable. Location was convenient and in a quiet neighborhood. House was clean. We’d stay here again!

Spacious but sparse

Our first night was unexpectedly hot since the air conditioner was not working, but Daniel worked quickly to get it fixed as soon as possible. Really appreciate how responsive he is, and at least there were fans in most of the bedrooms and an extra box fan that came in very handy! There are a few things that weren't great about the actual house that could be easily improved - there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms, and the bathrooms did not have the same toiletries available, and what was there was just large used bottles of shampoo/conditioner/lotion that could have been wiped down. An ice tray for the freezer would be useful along with extra trash bags, and some of the cute decorative wallpaper is peeling off of the walls. The upstairs furniture was sparse - there was no place to put away clothes and personal items except the hangers in the closets and the nightstands. Extra blankets and pillows were just on the closet floor and there was no seating upstairs at all. That being said, we spent most of our time downstairs and only went upstairs to sleep, so it didn't impact our stay but might be important to others who are staying for a longer length of time. Overall, we were comfortable once the A/C was fixed and had most of what we needed (except the hand soap!), but a few more amenities and a little more attention to the spaces would take this Vrbo from good to great!

Weekend stay U of I

Rented this home for U of I graduation. It is conveniently located - just about 5 minute drive to campus. Neighborhood is quaint and quiet. House had ample space and the kitchen had adequate amenities. Plenty of bath towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towels supplied. We hung out in the backyard which had a nice patio table and chairs. Charming house in a charming, walkable area. We would certainly stay here again.
