Welcome to our Bayfront North Condo, ideally located on the sparkling waters of Mission Bay in Mission Beach — a premier retreat by Vacation Homes By Kelly.

Bayfront North is our newly renovated top-floor bayfront penthouse, a spacious, beautifully updated retreat designed for families who love comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury. With panoramic waterfront views, an open-concept living space, a cozy fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen, you’ll have everything you need for a stress-free stay.

The moment guests step inside, floor-to-ceiling windows showcase stunning bay views. The open-concept living space is designed for both comfort and connection, making it easy to enjoy time together. A king bedroom suite and a second bedroom with two twin beds are comfy cozy and make for a great night’s sleep after a long day in the sun.

Your stay in our Mission Beach Vacation Rental includes a full kitchen with all the appliances and cookware you need to whip up dinner for the family, but you may want to explore one of the nearby restaurants an easy walk away.

Days are filled with beach adventures, boardwalk strolls, and exploring nearby attractions like Belmont Park and SeaWorld—both just minutes away.

Evenings are for unwinding by the cozy fireplace, playing board games, or simply watching the bay lights shimmer from the balcony. Fireworks from SeaWorld often add a little extra magic to the night.

This is the kind of place where family memories are made—whether it’s beach days, boardwalk strolls, or watching the fireworks over the bay at night.

Mission Bay south condo

Enjoyed our stay in this 2-bedroom recently renovated 3rd floor condo. The unit is accessed by elevator and close to Belmont Park and many local eateries. There is one designated parking space. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy and quick.

Mission Bay Beauty

Lovely setting and perfect for all ages. Lots of beach chairs and toys for the kids were provided. Perfect San Diego weather topped it off. It was a relaxing and fun family trip. Walking distance to the bay, the beach, the rollercoaster and restaurants.

Fantastic Property!

This place is absolutely perfect in every way. All the comforts of home and in a killer location that provides something for all ages. The view was amazing and created a nice chill environment to wind down with family. Beds were extremely comfortable (lots and lots of pillows!), everything was immaculately clean and there were tons of extras like beach chairs and boogie boards. We will definitely stay at this location for our next annual trip to Mission Beach!

Lovely condo in a great location

This condo, while dated with some older fixtures, had everything we needed for a great week in San Diego. Plenty of room to hang out and spread your stuff out. The living room couches were super comfortable and had amazing views of the Bay. The master bed was very comfy (headboard makes lots of noise but pillows between it and th wall help). The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The bathrooms are dark and old but plenty of room and everything works. The Bay was right outside the property and the ocean a 5 minute walk and both were gorgeous to walk around. Lots of food choices and entertainment in walking distance. We had multiple days of fun without every getting in the car. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys and blankets for a fun picnic. The windows and light fixtures are old but the windows do open for a lovely breeze. Don’t miss watching the Sea World fireworks from the balcony, you can check the schedule online.

Condo of MIrrors

This is an older property, and could use some updating. The mirrored walls need a refurb. Unit was clean and lovely view of the bay from the patio. Ocean only about 3 blocks away. Neighborhood a little sketchy, especially after dark. We did get to see the Sea World fireworks right from the patio. Some tips for future renters: --The rental contract we received was not in any way accurate--price was was wrong, security deposit info was misleading. --BE SURE to PRINT OUT the arrival info the owner will send. Getting the key was a bit of an adventure, and not a pleasant one after dark and a long drive. I was not able to open the doc on my phone, so had to call the owner for instructions. The landlord never answered (we called on 2 separate occasions)--fortunately, the owner answered. --Parking is tight--the occupant of the unit across the hall had the parking spot next to us, and had positioned their giant SUV crookedly into our space. We were stuck--had to knock on their door and request they move the vehicle. --Toaster burns rapidly--beware!! This was a last minute rental for us, as our original unit was canceled due to a water leak 3 days before check-in. Maybe that added to our disappointment--but I wouldn't stay here again.

San Diego visit

Condo had great location. It was clean and property manager very responsive. It’s a bit “dated” in style and there were a few minor issues like non functional toaster and broken screen door but all in all well provisioned and comfortable

Nice quiet get away

We had a lovely time. The view from the unit is wonderful. The neighbors quiet. Felt like we were all alone. Helpful staff when we had a couple issues which they quickly resolved. (Would give it a 5 start except the outside property and stairwells needed cleaning)

This was a wonderful vacation property . We were here as family enjoying San Diego.

The condo was clean , spacious and had a beautiful view of the bay. It was as pictured on VRBO. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. With the pandemic, we could stay close to home and were steps from the bay. We would definitely rent this again in the future

Great location

The property was in such a great location. Only tricky thing was checking in to find the key sets, would suggest doing it during the day time. Amazing walks to Mission Bay or the beach, peaceful sunrise over the Bay view just from the balcony. Thank you!

Great View

The view from the living room has to be among the best on Mission Bay. The gas fireplace was a huge bonus on cold morning and evenings. The bathrooms and kitchen are fine, but dated, at this price point, an upgrade would be good. No sugar or salt in the kitchen was a hassle, but not the end of the world. We didn't rent a car, just used Lyft while there and it worked fine except for shopping for food. The walkable little stores are sketchy and way overpriced. We Lyfted to the grocery store on the second day and picked up what we needed. The master has a pillow top mattress cover that was too soft for my taste and a little strange. The master is a bit dark, but totally adequate for sleeping. Walking to the Bahia resort was easy and the food was good. Beach access was and easy walk and Mission is a nice beach. A really beautiful spot!

Nice, quiet and clean! Short walk to the beach.

The place was very nice and clean. We liked being on the quieter side and being able to relax at night. The walls were thin with the other tenants, but everyone was quiet. The owner was so accommodating and helpful. We would definitely come back again.

Great Location on the Bay

Very nice and comfortable place. Love the fact it has a parking space and walking distance to a lot of activities (we rented jet skis and stand up boards). We BBQ'd and cooked every night, kitchen had all the utensils needed. The beds were comfortable and opening up a few windows really let the fresh air in. Just a note maybe bring extra towels. I went to use the laundry because our towels needed cleaning after a few days and the dryer didn't dry , also the vacuums didn't pick up the sand the kids brought in and there wasn't a broom (they do have a shower to wash off most of the sand). Other then that the place was perfect. Would definitely be renting it again in the summer.

This is definitely a hidden treasure.

Steps to the Beach and Bay. It was perfect for us. Well stocked with All that you would need. Its just like being at Home. The views were Awesome and Kelly was Great. We will be back for sure!!

As Arizonans, we spent our summers traveling to San Diego. Chris’s family now lives here, and Kelly has cherished childhood memories of staying in the same vacation rental each year.

We had always dreamed of owning a home by the water, and in 2006, that dream became a reality when we purchased our South condo. The following year, the condo across the hall became available, and it’s now our North condo. What we never anticipated was that this journey would evolve into a successful adventure lasting over 19 years. We truly enjoy running our small business and take great pleasure in hosting guests from all around the world.

As hosts, our goal is to ensure you feel right at home and have everything you need. Our property manager, Dani, who has been with us almost from the start, is nearby and available if you need anything during your stay. Please don’t hesitate to reach out— we’re here for you!
