With a nod to local history, Coal Mine Ridge pays tribute to an 1800's era when coal mining was life! Attention to detail and historic decor carries throughout the house with antiques and custom barnwood furniture and cabinetry in every room. The great room, which lives up to its name, boasts 40+ ft ceilings and Ohio-sourced, vintage barnwood. There is even an incredible game room with the Hocking Hills' very first state-of-the-art "coal mine" 2 lane duck-pin bowling alley! Outside you will find expansive covered patios with outdoor seating and a seasonal in-ground swimming pool- open Memorial Day-Oct 1st (optionally heated). Coal Mine Ridge can also be rented with Tranquility Ridge, Water's Edge, Hideaway, Secluded and Sterling Lodge within walking distance to accommodate 45+ people.
