Welcome to Rosemead Cabins.
We are a hard-working couple with full-time jobs in the area.

We are in the Hospitality business & strive to make sure our guests feel welcomed & at home at Rosemead Cabins.

We have raised our children (5) & it’s time to live life to the fullest as best we can.
Our Cabin is our retirement & heavenly home.

We love to travel & take motorcycle rides through the countryside, we know our cozy cabin will help you feel Relaxed & Peaceful after a day exploring the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain towns.

We have provided a resource binder with many of our favorite restaurants and destinations.

Recently, we went to Dillsboro, which is within a 30 minute drive and is known for its train stops.

We love Antiques, eating at a “hole in the wall” restaurant & finding unique history about the area… especially waterfalls, settlements, old historical mills, and driving through the Smoky Mountains to see Elk or admire the spectacular views.

Highlands is our home & where our Rotary friends are… Sunset Rock is a quick 20 minute walk up-to the top & provides a wonderful view of downtown Highlands.
The Biological Station and its trails are perfect for our nature scenery photography.

We have a special liking to Clayton, GA, you could find us at “Coaches” for football and wings or hiking the many steps at Tallulah Gorge State Park.

A few Franklin, NC favorite stops are Caffe Rel, Franklin Pizza Tavern, The Lazy Hiker Brewery, The Slanted Window, Little Tennesee River & The Whistle Stop Depot.

The waterfalls on the Cullasaja Gorge Rd provide unbelievable backdrops to any photo that you would take w/your family or partner.

We are at the stage of life where we can enjoy the cabin, we can share it w/our loved ones & new friends such as yourselves!

Our interest in this neighborhood was not without research… we looked at-least 20 homes in a 30 mile radius.
We had a criteria of what we truly wanted.
Definitely a log cabin, a mountain view, not too big & w/some land that was close to mountain towns where we could feel
at home.

Our neighbors are very important to us as we share a driveway & we wanted to know that they would be welcoming & friendly.
Almost right away, our neighbor offered us his lawnmower & anything we needed to make our cabin extra special.

The destination was important.
We work in the Highlands area 30 minutes or so from the cabin.

Clayton, GA & Franklin, NC are also a 20 min drive from our cabin… which offer amazing restaurants, antiques, hiking trails, waterfalls, grocery stores & lots to explore.
We felt like this was the trifecta of locations.

Traveling Dillard Rd/106 about 10-15 min drive from the cabin to Scaly Mtn you’ll find Julep Farms, High Holly Vineyard, Sky Valley Public Golf Course, Highlands Aerial Park & Outpost that provide entertainment for the whole family…Mtn. coasters, tubing, hiking, waterfalls, trout fishing, zip lining & two local restaurants, Mexican (El guacamole Loco) & Magliocca’s (Italian/Reservation required).

Rosemead cabin is so cozy and welcoming!
On our back covered back porch we have rocking chairs, a picnic table and in the fall a view of Fish Hawk Mtn.

We have beautiful trees & an open garden where you can sit, grill out, use the fire pit, all while taking in a breath of fresh Mtn air.

We include Wi-Fi, a laundry room,
queen bed, full bed, A/C, Gas Fireplace, full kitchen & amenities such as coffee/tea, spices, sugar, soap, Q-tips, shampoo & conditioner.
We would like to invite you to services we can provide upon request for a minimal fee.
For Ex. Flowers, groceries, a gift for a celebration or even a safe ride to town.
We know you will love it here at Rosemead Cabins as much as we do!

What makes our property unique?
As I sit to fill this questionnaire out, I am surrounded by fireflies…
We can sit in the hammock or on the back porch with nothing else on our mind, only to enjoy the Mountain cool air… The Cabin makes us feel relaxed, away from any stress…
The best part about being in the mountains is the temperature… We feel more comfortable when we are in the 70s.
We do have to say that in the winter time, seeing the cabin fully covered in snow. was absolutely beautiful.
We started a fire at the fire pit outside, while the fireplace inside warmed up the cabin… it felt like the holidays were ready to be celebrated…
We love Christmas. We will be decorating Rosemead Cabins for the holidays.
Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Fourth of July and Easter will be observed…

We are happy to help you celebrate a special occasion as well. We have services we can provide for a minimal fee, including a Ride Service that can take you to dinner/lunch so that you can enjoy that bottle of wine without worry of driving home…
