We had a great stay at this cabin. It was quiet, secluded and everything we had hoped for. They even had it decorated for Christmas with a tree and lights! Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved it

cabin was just what we expected. had a wonderful time and would recommend. the only downside is the tennis court at the resort condos through the woods. the extremely bright lights when someone is playing at night shine directly into the bedroom windows.

Over the falls

Cabin was awesome , was told bear activity was high and yes we did see a bear , they checked on us periodically, even made a suggestion on to where we could go for fireworks

Cabin location and description of property was accurate and a good experience. Our only concern was the cleanliness of the interior of cabin. End tables needed a good wipe and cobwebs all over the place.

Peaceful Getaway

Loved our stay at Above the Falls! Very secluded, but not too far from Pigeon Forge. We definitely want to stay there again!

We stayed at whispering waters which is another aunt bugs cabin. They switched us as we needed another bed. The VRBO listing says you can cancel without fees but aunt bugs makes you sign a contract stating otherwise. The hot tub wasnt heating up, there wasn't a garbage bag or dish soap to hand wash or use the dishwasher. The listing says you get a starter suppy... I had a text from aunt bugs saying if I need anything to let them know. When I did reach out to them they kept saying they understand my frustration but didnt offer a solution. The place is in need of TLC with knobs missing and the the rug fraying as well as a good cleaning. I do not recommend this place not would I stay here again.

Privacy and beautiful falls

We did thoroughly enjoy our stay here. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because the place is a little outdated and missing some kitchen necessities but had most of the stuff we needed. Enjoyed the privacy and the layout of the property. The creek and waterfall is beautiful if you can get to it. It is a little bit of a treacherous hike, but beautiful once you get to it. You can also hear the fall from the balcony of the cabin

Wonderful!

My husband and i stayed here for 4 days and it was perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy and private. Our favorite part was the deck with the hot tub. The location was perfect as well, close to attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The driveway up to the cabin is extremely steep bit we had no issues with our AWD vehicle. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Needs a deep clean

The cabin was nice, beautiful location, but the cabin definitely needs a deep cleaning. The check-in process was super easy. The employees that I talked to were very nice and helpful

Great cabin

Cabin was very clean and we had all we needed in the kitchen. Hot tub was wonderful. My kids enjoyed walking down to the creek in the back (the hill is very steep though!). The location is off of a main road so there was easy access to all of the attractions. Even though it was off of the main road, it still felt very secluded. Our GPS took us to the wrong location, but the property manager answered right away and helped us find it.

Better than the photos

We really enjoyed the cabin named Above the Falls. It was even nicer than expected. The pool table and jacuzzi were added bonuses. Cabin was clean and nearby restaurants delivered to the area. The check in and out process was very simple. We had a great time and couldn't have been happier with this cabin. 10/10.

Relaxing getaway

Perfect place for a small group!!!!

This is exactly what we were looking for. . . single mom, teenage daughter. . . LOVED the view! We hot tubbed every night. The cabin was clean and stocked with necessities (paper towel and toilet paper). We had an issue (no big deal) and the staff responded immediately. We can't wait to come back. I wish I could have gone down to the river, and while some can I'm sure, it was out of my comfort zone from a slip and fall perspective. We will definitely book again!

Nice stay

We enjoyed the location and appreciated the privacy. Great area to visit. Two things could have made the stay better.. The cabin is pet friendly (and we had our little Shih Tzu), however the couch was covered in white dog hair. We are resourceful so made do by covering it with the extra sheet provided for pullout sofa. We did let the office know this so it could be thoroughly vacuumed after our stay. And secondly there were large carpenter ants that were worse on some days than others, when mentioned to rental agency it is apparently a seasonal issue.

Cozy and Beautiful

The cabin was perfect for us two plus our small dog. The drive is easy into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge and the location allowed us to avoid the heavy, weekend traffic. We were happy to have the all-wheel-drive vehicle to navigate the steep driveway that led to the cabin tucked in the trees. The large king bed is much firmer than ours at home, so we were thankful for the numerous pillows available. The bedroom had ample space for our dog's kennel. The stocked kitchen allowed us to cook the majority of our meals (used the stove, oven and microwave oven) during our stay. We stayed just after Thanksgiving and were charmed by the Christmas tree, garlands, and lights installed (inside and out) before our arrival too!

When I first entered the cabin the smell was AWFUL!!! An overwhelming mix of lemon cleaner and body odor. I had to open all the doors and windows, and put th ceiling fans on high to get rid of the odor.The next morning, one of my guests used the upstairs shower and it leaked into the downstairs loser get out luggage wet. It took another day to get a maintenance man there to look at it.Then the next morning we attempted to cool breakfast. Only one burner would work at a time. We decided to keep cooking and use the oven to keep items warm, then the one working burner turned off. The maintenance man came while we were gone and found no issues.We were also left with no dish soap or dishwasher detergent.I paid for a 2 shower cabin with a working shower and sis not get what I paid for. And they refused to reimburse me anything or change cabins.

Great location and secluded

Overall our stay was great. It is very pretty decorated for Christmas. We had plenty of space and the location made us feel like we were very secluded. The bed was very comfortable. Aunt Bugs was very responsive to the issues we needed resolved. The cabin could use some general TLC, like attention to the roof where it leaks. The outside could use some additional lighting, especially in areas where the dogs can be walked. The thing I would change is check in. We didn’t get the address until we were close to town. That might work for most, but our cell service is spotty while traveling and can be in town. It felt like our gps was sending us to the wrong place and we couldn’t pull any maps on our phones because of service. We usually get the address a day in advance, which allows us to see where it’s at before we leave home. Past Dollywood is a good description, but it’s miles beyond Dollywood. We would use Aunt Bugs again because it was better than many of our other experiences.
