We had trouble checking in bc the address on the property was different than the address on our check in info. We followed the directions and just took a chance at opening the door even though the address didn’t match. The automated phone line was not helpful at all, just kept saying, we didn’t have turn by turn directions available. The cabin was clean, lovely with high ceilings. Its pretty much perfect for 2 adult couples or 2 families bc one bedroom and living room is upstairs and the other bed and living room is downstairs. Game room and kitchen are shared. For our family with young kids, they didn’t want to sleep that far from us so used the hide a bed. Game room was a big hit!! Porch has full sized table and chairs for meals outside. The neighborhood was so quiet, we slept great. The hot tub may be older but seemed to work just fine. The ceiling fan in the main floor bedroom didn’t have the pull chain so the light and fan worked as one which meant we couldn’t sleep with the fan on which is a big bummer for us!! The driveway is SO steep, bottomed out the minivan a few times.

The location of the cabin was great. Right in the middle of Pigeon Forge so it was easy access to everything yet it was far enough off the main strip that it was quiet. It was clean & the check n process was easy. Furniture was nice. We got this cabin because we just wanted time away to relax so we stayed in most of the time. We only live about 1.5 hours away so we come here alot. We were disappointed the pool was not heated like it stated. It was very cold that even other guest's kids didn't even want to get in. The cabin only has one light on the main floor which is a ceiling fan so cooking at night, it was hard to see if food was cooked long enough. If you plan on cooking, I recommend bringing your own big frying pan and spatula if you plan on making things like eggs or pancakes. If you use the oven, there is only 1 pie pan, no cookie sheets. The only flat spatula they had was the big metal one to the grill. The cabin does not have a gas grill as stated in the listing when we booked. We were informed afterward when we contacted the host so we did not bring charcoal. Foosball handles were broken and the pool table-most of the pockets were ziptied together because of the holes but some of the ties were broken so if you are playing pool & your foot is under one of the pockets, beware. For the amount of money we spent on this cabin, it could have been better. We have staying in better ones for less money. They really need to update their cookware.

Cozy Cabin

Check in was an easy process all staff were friendly. Great location. This house is great for two small families giving everyone privacy with their own living room area. Loved that it had two king suites, both with jacuzzi in them. We definitely hope to come back again.

Loved Huge Cabin!!

We took our 2 college boys and this cabin was PERFECT! They had so much fun in the game room ….. lots of pool tournaments. They had their own master suite and living room downstairs. Perfect setup!! We will go again next year!!

Needs help

We had a great time exploring and making memories although the cabin was not clean. It had not been vaccumed or mopped and most counters were sticky. No trash bags in the main can. Clean sheets and toilet paper is all the had accomplished.

Stayed for a baseball tournament

We came and stayed for my little boy to play in the Ripken Experience. This location is PERFECT for that! Very close to the fields, and the pool access was great. We were a little hot at night initially, but we moved down to the bedroom on the bottom floor and it was a lot cooler. Also, bottom floor shower has more pressure. Only complaint is that we accidentally left with the pool bands in our bags. I immediately text the number that I was given for communication to let them know. I had an immediate response of not to worry about it and just bring it by next time we were in town. I asked early so that I could head to the post office if there was an issue. It was totally our mistake. About 6 hours later I got a phone call. Apparently it was a problem and they wanted the bands overnighted back or it would be a $100 charge. Problem is that the post office was closed by that point and it is a holiday weekend. I know it was our mistake for bringing the bands home. But if we are told to communicate through the text message system and then given conflicting information, it makes things difficult. Overall, it was a great cabin, but just a little frustrating with communication.

Great Location

First of all our family had a great time at this cabin and this is not meant to be a negative review. We absolutely loved the location of this cabin and would not hesitate to book again in the Alpine Mountain Village area. However we would probably look to book a different cabin for us personally. The contactless check in was okay even though we didn't get the actual address for the property until less than a 1/2 hour before check in. Not a big deal, but after a 5 1/2 drive it would have been nice to know exactly where we were going sooner. The size of the cabin was perfect for our family of 3 and we spent most of the time in the loft area playing pool. With that being said, by spending that much time up there it was very evident that dusting/cleaning anything above the sightline from downstairs was not a priority. The lighting in the cabin is quite dark which made it difficult to play cards or read. We still had a great time!

Our stay

Property was spacious & clean. One of the couches was outdated where you sunk into the couch, so we didn't use that one. It rained and the roof was leaking so we moved the couch so it would not be ruined by the water leak. Basketball hoop was broken so kids didn't play with that. The Key lock was very difficult to get in and out of house but all in all We had a good time

We had a short family vacation in Pigeon Forge enjoying the Camelot Cabin and plan to stay again. Cabin was clean, beds comfortable… only thing I might would recommend is an upgrade in the upstairs sofa sleeper… it was attractive leather, however needed updated the sofa wasn’t very comfortable to relax on due to be worn… therefore we could t use for sleeping either. The cabin seemed secluded and private yet close to the main road which is rare in Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg area! Might wanna bring some garbage bags … we only had 2 for a 5 night stay. Over all I plan to request this cabin again!

Cabin Stay

The downstairs if very cold. When turning on the Heat, the two upper portions are hot but downstairs stayed cold. The lighting in the cabin is poor. The showers are very tiny. The kitchen could be a little better equipped. However, aunt bugs came when we needed something fixed the next morning. Check out was very easy. Overall we had a great stay, just needs some minor adjustments and definitely more lighting.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time @ this cabin. It was clean and in a great location for anything you would want to do. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was there is a leak in roof over the love seat, that was commented on another review that should have been fixed. And if you come to the mountains to see bears this is a good place for that also. We didn't have the approved trash cans for bears so the bears came 2 nights in a row an took the trash cans. Lots of excitement but we had a lot of fun @ this place & we will be back next year.
