Cabin was amazing only downside was the pots and pans were a bit subpar. Staff was welcoming polite and responsive during check in views and hot tub were immaculate!

Cabin is very outdated. Floors are very spongy and loyd when walking. Pool table bumper rail is broken. Pots and pans need to be replaced really bad. Bedrooms are upstairs and thermostat is downstairs. Pictures that are posted are not current at all.

I enjoyed my stay very much at this cabin. The only thing I would say (and it could be me missing it in the listing) is that I wish it wasn’t so hard to get to it. The cabin was creaky as well but that really didn’t make the stay worse at all. I enjoyed the hot tub amenity as well! The views were very nice and it was quiet, but that’s probably because of the time of year.

The cabin was nasty! The sink didn’t drain first day, poop on one of the towels, no water for two days, gas leak when lighting the fireplace (had to call 911), shower door broke, rat poop, smelled awful like rat pee, internet kept going off, hot tub couldn’t be used when my kids got in it after 5 mins they were itching so bad and it smelled awful. Talked to the cabin rental company and they haven’t done anything to give us any money back. Never will rent again.

The staff was very pleasant . HOWEVER THE CABINS ARE FIFTY.AUNT BUGS NEEDS CLEANERS THAT CLEAN.PIC are from first check in had to move due to house not cleaned.Moved to another better place Furniture and beds stunk terrible

Great location, cute quirky accommodations

We chose this property for its affordability and proximity and accessibility to Ober, downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains.This property had all the necessary functionality of mountain cabin. It does have its quirks and I was glad we had an all wheel drive vehicle.

I book the cabin for my birthday and bring along my kids overall the stay was good on the last day the 2 bathroom toilet flooded the bathroom but other then that I’ll give a 10/10

Pap had a gig at Ole Red on a Friday and Saturday night. The family needed a place that was close by and convenient for our stay. This place checked all the boxes.

Honestly, if I could, I would give this a negative 5 review. The pictures ARE NOT what they are in person. There are MULTIPLE scratches, patches, dust, webs, stains, and a bad smell throughout the whole cabin. We had an issue with stink bugs throughout the whole place as well. The decorations are very poor & creepy. The driveway to get there is awful, so be prepared. A small car like a Camry would not make it - my SUV barely made it. The pool table is unplayable - it is severely stained and damaged. The front door knob barely closes and needs to be fixed. We requested to be moved and luckily the property manager was able to move us. The company is not bad at all but this property does not need to be rented out any more. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Wouldn’t recommend

Great location but cleanliness could be much better and infested in lady bugs in the bedrooms & was told it’s seasonal & there’s nothing they can do about it. Definitely just an older cabin, & not what you’d expect for the price.

The property was OK but dirty all around. Not well taken care of overall. Called the office but they didn’t seem too worried about it. The driveway is a killer! The hot tub smelled moldy. Other than that the view was great, the fireplace was great. The WiFi worked good.

Nice place

Excellent facilities — however, not stocked well with utensils (only four forks) and you need to bring your own dish soap. There is some trash outside near the porch (glass bottles, cigarette butts, etc.) Nice location but be aware you are going up some steep hills at times. A nice place for a good place for a fair price but could use some TLC.

Not for the Faint Hearted

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The driveway was nearly impossible to use . . . repair to the blacktop should be done immediately. It was so bad, we couldn't venture out for evening meals, for fear of NOT being able to return without sliding off the side.The carpet on the stairs and bedrooms were in bad need of cleaning. The bedding was comfortable. The hot tub was 116 and only filled to the middle of the jets on the first night. . . we had to call the next day to have to filled properly.

I like that they had a pool table, but the table was broken on one side and the pool sticks did not have tips. The hot tub was nice but it did have an odor about it. Like dirty feet or soured. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with nice pots and pans, but there was only one dish towel and there were not any pot holders. Taking hot pans out of the oven with one dish towel was not very easy. The drive up was very steep. There wasn't really a yard for the dogs. A small bear visited us right up to the porch table. It was cute. I did not know until later that they have been known to open the door and come in. There were dog pee stains on the lower part of the box springs on one of the beds. The bedrooms and bathrooms were upstairs, which was ok, just hard on our old knees. We made the best of our stay and enjoyed ourselves. I love the washer and dryer! I came home with clean laundry!

Very disappointing

The chalet was dirty! We did not leave a tip for the cleaning people because it was obvious they don't clean. We're curious as to what our Housekeeping Fee was for. The floors were so dirty that the bottoms of our socks were very discolored after walking around without shoes. Cob webs were in both bathrooms. The whole house had a very foul odor. After seeing a live mouse in the kitchen, we believe the odor was from a dead mouse somewhere within. Also, the outlet in that is on the other side of the laundry did not work. We tried multiple things but could not get it to work so we just used the bedroom outlet closest to the bathroom door. The pool table is broken on one end and there is only one cue stick. All of the issues I have mentioned have been listed in other reviews and nothing has been done about them. Obviously the complaints are not important to the owners. In addition, with it being December, it would have been nice to have had some hint of Christmas decor since that was our main reason for going this time of year. It was just very disappointing and we will not be staying at this rental nor any others from Aunt Bugs for fear they may all have the same issues.

Dont let the pictures fool you

Positive: view was nice. Accommodating with my dogs (over the 40lb limit that I didn't see until after booking)Neg: very steep driveway. Don't expect to be able to turn around at the top without someone helping or feeling like you are about to drive off the cliff esp if there are visitors at neighboring cabinNeighboring cabin: not only do they have a clear view of your balcony and hot tub area from their balcony, but there is a camera with a very bright light pointing directly at the hot tub area from that cabinprivacy nonexistent. Cabin is dated and poorly maintained. Air vents are falling out of walls, carpet stained, water damage in bathrooms, unfinished spackled holes. Sprayer on the kitchen sink gets stuck, which I didn't learn until turning the faucet on and being showered with cold water. Debris on the stairs. Bathroom drawers were littered with hair. The range had grease caked on it. The stove had non-working burners. Cob webs hanging from the fans/light fixtures and even inside the cabinets. Both the dishwasher and dryer make an ear piercing high pitched noise. The pool table had a broken bumper. Going back and reading more reviews, this appears to have been an issue for at least 6 months. 330 a night not worth it. Word limit for review or it would flow better with more detail.

Angel’s Roost was filthy

The house is nice with a pool table and hot tub. However, the floors and kitchen chairs are filthy. I can deal with a lot of things, but living in other people’s filth is one thing I cannot deal with. If they would clean the place up, I would have wanted to stay again. Also, the drive way is difficult to get up.

Dont stay here!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived at check in time at the house (this is not a cabin as described), I searched for the email that gives us the code to get in the house but found nothing. I called the rental company who said we had to check in at the office in pigeon fordge. Which NO ONE ever told us. The house is way up the mountain and the driveway is up a very steep hill with a curve and the road was crumbling apart with huge holes in it. The rental come at said it told me to check in at the office but I read over it 5 times and NO WHERE DID IT SAY TO DO THAT.After an hour of calling the rental company and trying to email them my license so they could send is the code we finally got in. At this point we are all angry and just want to cancel but guess what NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE.The house was not very clean, the top deck railing where popping out and very unsafe for my young child and dogs. The door frames looked like they were glued back together and the pots in the kitchen were so dirty it immediately smoked up the house anytime we cooked. We will never stay here again. We didn't listen to the reviews and decided to go anyways, so please consider the reviews from previous people before you waste your money on this house, not a canin!
