Villa ‘‘Dahlia’’ is a three storey-luxury home and consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 of them are en-suite, large living room with fireplace, dining-room, open kitchen, loft, storage room, veranda and balcony.

The villa contains two double and one twin en-suite bedrooms, which is ideal for families, friends, couples who are looking for a relaxing holiday. The villa is located just five minutes (by car) from the beach. There are plenty in the surrounding area to see and to do during your stay.
The property is located in a mountainous, just 5 mins from the beach.

Other Activities: Folklore Festival taking place every summer in the town of Lefkada. Annual sailing week takes place in Lefkada. There are daily cruses from Nidri to Scorpios Island and the nearby islands.

Fabulous House with Fabulous Hostess

We hat a wonderful time at Villa Dahlia. The location is great and the view from the house spectacular! Marie is the perfect hostess, she always answered any questions immediately and helped with recommendations etc. The house is well equipped, the outside area is a dream. The upstairs bedroom is a bit challenging for older people as it is a steep staircase up but we managed well. The drive into the town is just 5 minutes. Walking anywhere is difficult because the house is up on the hill. But the view makes up for everything. We would definitely come again and stay in Villa Dahlia! Thank you for everything Marie!

Fantastic views

High above the village of Nidri with fantastic views. Very well equiped and very clean house, plenty of space, daily attended large pool and surroundings, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful villa with breathtaking views

What a beautifully kept villa with amazing views. The hosts are lovely and available all the time if you need them. The pool is ama zing but you cannot get bored of the view it's stunning. Will definitely be back. Only other tip i recommend is too get a car.

Absolutely stunning villa with amazing views

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Villa Dhalia, Lefkas. The property is immaculate with lovely outside spaces for dining, swimming and relaxing. Everything is we thought through and the views from the beautiful and very comfortable gazebo are spectacular. The villa is set on a hillside with a nice taverna within easy walking distance (though the climb back is quite steep, it's not really very far). If you are happy to walk further you can reach the bars and tavernas in Nidri within half an hour or so. Nidri is much more pleasant now that the through road and harbour are closed to traffic after 7pm. The villa has four comfortable bedrooms with air conditioning and three have balconies. There is also a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Wifi is good. Furnishings inside are very nice but a little formal - but for a summer holiday the outside spaces are what matter. Marie, our host, could not have been more helpful and we hope we will be able to return another year.

Lovely luxury villas

The luxury villa was lovely and in great conditions. Everything you need in a villa was inside it. The pool had a great view, the rooms were clean and with a nice view, alo the barbecue was very helpful :-). We passed a unforgivable vacances there We recommend it to everyone

Relaxing and comfortable

Villa Dahlia is set on a large property on the hill with views down on Nydri, together with four other villas owned by the same family. Each villa is very private and we were not overlooked by any of them. I do not like resorts with many (often impersonal and very commercial) villas, so I was a bit worried it would feel like that, but this was absolutely not the case. The villa was impressively clean when we arrived, and we were given plenty of information by the nice owners. They were always available, and on the one occasion there was something not working, it was solved immediately. An automatic gate separates the public road from the private road towards the villas, which is covered with concrete all the way, unlike some other properties near Nydri where there is only a rocky private road which not only makes the climb rather scary but also you end up fearing for the survival of the rental car. The owners have two dogs, but as we had two members of our group that are scared of dogs, they were kept away from our villa. It is just a detail, but it indicates the consideration of the owners for the well-being of their guests. The gardens are carefully maintained with beautiful flowers, as is the side of the private road which is lined with pine-trees. The view from the villa is impressive. Two years ago, we rented villa Lily, which we also liked a lot, but personally, I prefer Dahlia, as it has an easier access from the kitchen to the terrace and swimming pool, for bringing food and drinks outside and for the children to go in and out of the house or for watching them. There is also a very comfortable shady lounge area: ideal for a lazy afternoon reading a book, or for an evening aperitif. The stone barbecue was very clean when we found it and it did a perfect job. The swimming pool is about 55 m2, rather quite long than wide, which makes it perfect for having a swim. The advantage is that the amount of water to be heated by the sun is less for such a length than with a pool that would be of rather "traditional" width. The width is anyway enough for several people swimming together. The depth is about the same everywhere (+/- 1.50 meters), but there is a small mini-pool connected to it which is shallow for little children to play in. Inside, the house is decorated to the personal taste of the owners, which makes it feel like a "real" house, not an "Ikea-type" house. The kitchen is well equipped. This is a house that feels more like home every day.

LOVELY AND RELAXING VILLA

The villa was really wonderful with everything u might need,spacious and clean with stunning views!! the owners are nice and friendly..we enjoyed every minute there! Its in a nice area but its a a little bit far for walking down to the centre but saying that if u want that gorgeous view u have to make a few sacrifices (hahaha) ;), the pool was nice and it was cleaned every day!! Overall would love to visit again couldnt have picked a nicer accommodation :) Thank u Zikou family ;)

great place to stay, travel, and relax

For us this villa offered all, and more, than we expected. The most amazing view first catches the eye, and never stopped giving us enormous pleasure during our stay. The villa offers spacious bedrooms with excellent, adjustable airconditiong, a fully equipped kitchen; good dining table and sitting room. Internet facilites worked without problem. We forgot to bring our HDMI cable otherwise we could have watched the videos from our laptop on TV. On various places the house had balconies - all provided a stunning view of the nearby sea and mountains, just as the pictures promise. The swimming pool was big and deep enough (about 1.50 meter) for comfortable swimming. Every morning it was cleaned and given just the right amount of Chloride. There were four relaxing chairs at the pool. There was also a wonderful place for barbequeing (and relaxing during the evening) with seatings that accommodate a party of about 10 people. Neighbouring villa's are conveniently away, giving you the feeling of complete privacy. Upon arrival the house was spotless and we were welcomed and instructed by the owners. A minor point of critique is that at home we are used to slightly softer linen for the beds. The bustling village of Nydri is at about a 10 minute ride (or 25 minute walk). There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets to cater for your needs. There is one shop where you can buy fresh fish - if you're too late for catching a returning boat. All in all a great place to feel at home and spend your vacation.

A GORGEOUS, SPACIOUS VILLA WITH THE 'WOW' FACTOR.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Villa Dahlia and it was outstanding. No expense has been spared on the building or furnishing of any of the 5 Amalia Villas. Villa Dahlia is exactly as the photo's show. It is very spacious, beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need with regards to furniture, storage, kitchen equipment etc and it is spotlessly clean, in fact mid week we were offered a towel & linen change and at the same time the villa was thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom. The views of all the surrounding islands are just to die for especially when gazing at them from the infinity pool. As well as the villa and all it's rooms, wardrobes and other storage being very spacious the same goes for the outside areas which are set on 3 levels. As there was just the 4 of us (2 couples) staying at the villa there wasn't much need for any real 'private space' but if there were more people staying the various outside seating/lounging area's on the different levels gives much more space for a bit of privacy if needed. There are 5 villa's, all within a couple of minutes walk from each other but each villa is completely private and out of view of the other villa's, it's very easy to forget there are any other villa's around. We looked around a couple of the other villa's and all are equally gorgeous. All 5 are set high in the mountains up quite a steep and winding road but that is not a problem at all. It takes approx 6 minutes to drive down and park on the front in Nidri where there is an abundance of shops, bars & restaurants as well as motor boat hire and day ferries to other islands. (A restaurant you MUST try is 'Apollon' down on the front in Nidri, where the food an service is second to none). There is also a very good taverna/restaurant half way down the hill within walking distance - just!. Nadia, the owner and her family are wonderful, they are very generous and are on hand for anything at all you may need whilst totally respecting your privacy. I cannot recommend this villa enough and will definitely stay there again when we next visit Lefkas. I must note however although there are gates to stop any 'curious little ones' going where they shouldn't outside there are a lot of concrete steps which may not be suitable for the very young or very old.

Beautiful views, great place, never want to leave.

All I can say is that we had a very, very, very relaxing time! The location and facilities were perfect for a relaxing stay - whether lying by the pool, sitting in the shade on the large balcony, or chilling out inside. With plenty of children we used the kitchen a fair amount and also did a few barbeques. Alternatively we nipped down to Nidri to bring back some souvlaki or pizza. You can also swap the serenity of the villa and drop into the nearby town of Nidri which is a vibrant place with plenty of varied entertainment. The main road becomes pedestrian at night and you can also walk along the harbour. Although the island has many lovely beaches, the best ones are a good distance away so be prepared to go on day trips and explore, which is tough when you can just stay in the pool!

Breathtaking view and unique experience.

The title says it all. Breathtaking view, great amenities, dream house, superior service, unique experience. All 9 people of my extended family included myself just loved the experience. We felt at home in this villa. Great value for money as well. The villa in combination with the beautiful island of Lefkada was one of our best vacation time ever.
