What a beautiful cabin! I didn’t want to leave. Coffee and a book in the loft. Cocktails on the deck or dock. Fully appointed kitchen. So very quiet with views to die for. Didn’t use the firepit. Must be able to maneuver the spiral staircase. Would stay again.

Great customer service, super clean house and beautifully designed and decorated. Spiral staircases are so fun! Spacious, breath taking views of the lake. Nice soaking tub and hot tub, different patios, all kinds of windows. It feels really big once you walk to the different levels; bedroom in the loft and one in the bottom level. All the amenities you’d want, kitchen supplies, seating, tv, ages and books. We’ll be back!

Phenomenal property tucked away from busy day to day life. Wonderful getaway spot to clear your head and unwind. It will definitely be a staple for us to revisit. The esthetic of this property is so modern with a vintage feel.

What a beautiful setting for our 25th anniversary getaway! The views are amazing. Even though the weather was chilly, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and out on the dock in the sunshine. The decor was forest whimsy meets romantic chic. There are so many places to sit and read a book, including the upstairs loft in front of the wall to floor windows, or in the beautiful soaking tub. The house is well-equipped and comfortable. We will definitely come back during another season - to enjoy the trees in the fall or the water in the summer.

Such a beautiful and cozy cabin. We had a very relaxing time here . When we arrived there was a lot of debris around the outside entrances of the cabin from either the windy conditions or the landscapers not cleaning up after trimming around the cabin. We did not want to track it all through the beautiful house bringing our luggage and other things in so my husband spent an hr sweeping all outdoor areas so we could enjoy them to the fullest. Also we noticed both propane tanks for the grill were empty. I contacted the host/owner and she immediately offered her apologies and gave us a refund for one nights stay. We did not expect that but it was very nice of her and we appreciated it. She also sent her father n law with two full propane tanks the first full day we were there. I would Deff recommend staying at this beautiful cabin. It has everything you could want or need to enjoy some time away. The spiral stairs were a little bit of a challenge especially carrying our luggage up and down them but we made it work. We hope to come back again when we need some down time. It was only an hr away from our home so it was an easy getaway . Thank you, Megan for sharing your home with us and for helping us get settled during the first 24 hrs. Pat H May 1, 2026

Just when I thought that I had seen and enjoyed it all.This cabin and atmosphere was a dream come true.My biggest fear is that its growing popularity may raise the cost beyond our budget, but we have high hopes of many return visits.A paved driveway would be a great benefit but the gravel road will not keep us away.

Peaceful Cabin Retreat

The cabin and view were absolutely amazing! Beautifully designed, thoughtfully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We spent the day exploring Cane Creek and Dismals Canyon, then enjoyed a relaxing evening at the cabin. Grilled out with ease—there’s a grocery store just 3 miles away. Jennifer, the owner, was great with communication and made everything seamless. Peaceful, cozy, and everything we hoped for. We’d go back in a heartbeat!
