My stay with Ella was absolutely wonderful. The home was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described—truly a peaceful getaway. Ella was incredibly welcoming and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Any concerns or questions were communicated clearly and handled quickly. The directions were easy to follow, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Our girls' weekend did not go as we had hoped. We had originally rented a house on the canal in Huntington Harbor. Two days before check-in, we were informed via email that the property was experiencing electrical issues. While we understand that unexpected problems arise, Ella was helpful in finding us an alternative nearby. Since many of us were traveling from out of town with only one day left before check-in, we agreed to a replacement property she found for us.This replacement property is very nice with a great location—about a mile up Warner, close to Trader Joe’s and other businesses. The outside grounds are lush and beautiful, and the house has been newly upgraded.However, we felt the house was not ready for rental that weekend. The floors and baseboards were not clean, the patio table had bird droppings, the guest bathroom shower did not drain, and the kitchen was poorly stocked. We also had to figure out how to operate the ice maker on our own.What we found most disappointing was the handling by the property management team. We had rented a waterfront property initially, but this one was not on the water. We expected a refund for the price difference, but were told the owner did not agree and that we would receive only a 100 refund as an accommodation. This was not our fault, and the replacement property was 264 cheaper than what we originally paid. Such customer service is unacceptable. We did not cancel the original booking; it was canceled for us.

The house itself is in a great location and beautiful. The one star rating is due to the management. We arrived on a Thursday evening at 7:30 to a very dirty house. It was clear the house had not been cleaned from the previous stay. There were gnats and flies all throughout the kitchen. We quickly contacted the manager about the issues. They were unable to get cleaners there until 2 hours later and then it took the cleaners another 2 hours to clean the property. The cleaners did an amazing job cleaning the residence and it was clear they were working hard to finish as quickly as they could. We were unable to enter the rental until 11:30 pm. The management company initially did not offer us any compensation. We had to request that we were reimbursed for the huge inconvenience. We initially planned on cooking dinner at the residence and were unable to due to the state of the kitchen. We had to go out to eat that night. They then offered us a late check out. We declined, and they eventually offered us 50% off one night. We explained that this would not even cover the bill of the dinner we had to pay for as we were unable to cook in the kitchen that night. They were unsympathetic to the inconvenience they caused by their mistake of not scheduling a cleaner. The house has most necessities however, they did not have enough silverware for all guests to use at one time. All in all, the house and location are fantastic but be warned if there are any issues that arise.

Our stay was wonderful and perfect! The only thing was the WiFi kept disconnecting and we had to keep resetting it. Also, kitchen utensils were not enough only 3 forks and spoons. Other than that we absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay!

**Pros:** The location of this property was fantastic—conveniently situated and easy to access. The house appeared to be newly remodeled, with a fresh and modern interior. The neighborhood was quiet, which made for a peaceful stay, and we met a friendly neighbor who was welcoming and kind.**Cons:** Unfortunately, our stay was marred by several issues. The house had a strong mold or mildew smell, forcing us to keep the windows open the entire time. This was problematic as several window screens had holes, allowing gnats to swarm inside. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with only three forks available, and there were no hand towels or washcloths provided. The rugs and carpets were visibly dirty, so we ended up washing what we could in the machine. The exterior was also neglected—greasy handprints were smeared on the back deck glass, bird droppings and feathers were scattered around, and all outdoor seating was covered in dust. Worst of all, there were 10 empty propane tanks on the property, and the host refused to have them filled, leaving us without access to the grill. Overall, these issues significantly detracted from our experience.

This is our second time staying here, it’s a wonderful spot! It’s a short walk to the beach and captain jacks (best restaurant around!) We enjoyed their comfortable beds, large kitchen, and back patio set up. We travel for my husband’s work a lot so the fact that it’s pet friendly was a plus for us. A lot of the rentals in the area don’t have air conditioning so we appreciated them having that feature as well! Friendly neighbors, and it is a quiet area. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing House !

Better than description ! Spacious and modern with beach vibes. Communication with Owner and check in process was easy and smooth. Location was great with beach access right across the street. Loved our stay!
