Perfect getaway for my husband and I. Quiet neighborhood with great little beaches to walk to with our dog. Fantastic deck to sit and eat breakfast on and watch the birds in the marsh. Clean and well maintained too! We’d come back again!

We were extremely happy with the cleanliness & overall household. There was a nice open concept with a lovely kitchen. The outdoor rap around porch was lovely because you were able to sit outside & enjoy both the bay view & wildlife refuge. The host was wonderful & checked in on us to ensure we were happy with the rental. We felt at home right away & our two little dogs settled in nicely. Hoping to be a return guest in the future.

The location is very nice. However, the house was not cleaned and there were flies everywhere. There is also a bad smell which might just be normal for that area but one of my kids is very sensitive to smell and it was a little intense for him.

Cozy and secluded from crowds

We had beach access across the road all to ourselves. A few bunnies came to visit and back yard was wide open nature. Less than 15 minues to drive to Wildwood or Cape May. A little traffic depending on time of day, but nothing like the big cities. Eric was just a text or phone call away and seconds to respond. House was very clean and full of amenities, everything you need for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend!!

Reeds Beach House

My wife and I spent the day, barefoot in the sand, collecting shells and reading on the large deck behind the house overlooking a beautiful protected, Marshland and letting time slow down. The sunsets were spectacular. The pink and orange sky was so very vibrant and we were so grateful. The property is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and modern. The two bedrooms were perfect. The master bedroom opened up to the wraparound deck of the house. The rental was perfect for us, and the renter was very attentive. We would certainly go back again and recommend it to all our friends.

“Relaxing with BayViews – Family-Friendly & Close to Wildwood & Avalon!”

First Guests — Incredible Bayview Stay!We were lucky enough to be the very first guests at this beautiful two bedroom Reeds Beach rental, and it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh, clean, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. The bay views are absolutely stunning—especially at sunset—and the wraparound porch was our favorite spot to unwind. The home is tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area, but it’s still just a short drive to all the popular Shore destinations like Wildwood, Stone Harbor, and Avalon. It’s the perfect blend of tranquil retreat and convenient location.Inside, the beds were super comfortable, and the huge TVs in each room were a great touch for cozy nights in. Plenty of parking, great layout, and just an overall welcoming vibe. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in.Highly recommend this spot—can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful walks on reeds beach with romantic sunsets !!

Excellent property, owner very helpful and responsive. Super nice. A few minor things on the property could be tweaked (such as an umbrella on the deck)but overall it was one of the better Vrbo properties I’ve used. The household items were top notch, no cheap, dull knives etc. Huge tvs in living/bedroom. The beds were clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels. There was a smell outside as mentioned in another review. However, I found that it was only there at certain times depending on the tide and wind direction. And that is what it is, it’s the area. Overall it was not a problem and it was undetectable when you were inside the house. We enjoyed Reed’s beach nearby, it was empty each time we went. We also visited Higbee beach with the dogs and they loved it. The property is near enough to everything without having a crowd of people right outside your door. Good times, thanks.

Thank you for telling me about the umbrella. I am afraid to put an umbrella there. Because I am afraid if someone puts it up and leaves it out, and we get a bad wind storm or weather that will fly like a kite. And who knows where it will end up. Possible i to cars, houses, or windows. But i would of loved to put an umbrella on the deck, if the wind would of coordinated propertly. Again, thank you for the feedback and also thank you for defending me when other people put a negative review which pointed out that mother nature changed the smell and it wasnt a human error. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful place. The pictures don’t truly show how beautiful everything is. The neighborhood is so quiet and the sunsets are gorgeous. This place is a peaceful getaway that’s conveniently located to everywhere you want to be. We visited Sea Isle City, Wildwood, and Cape May and didn’t have to stay in all of the chaos. The host was so kind and even offered a little early access. My son and I and our little dog will definitely be staying again in the future!

Host was extremely communicative, worked to resolve issues in a timely manner. The location was away from the strip, a quiet place to rest your head after a long day at the beach.

We had a wonderful long weekend and would absolutely stay again! The house was perfect for our family of three, with two cozy bedrooms, a clean bathroom, and a comfortable living space, it had everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the backyard. The view of the marsh was breathtaking, and as a family that loves birdwatching and wildlife (our son hopes to study marine ecology someday), we spent every morning and evening on the deck. We saw ospreys, willets, cormorants, turtles, rabbits, and so much more. There was also a view of the bay from the front of the house, and a small beach less than a mile away where we enjoyed watching the sunset. Some reviews mention the flies, greenheads, and occasional bay odor. Yes, they were there—but that's simply part of being on the bay. If you're familiar with coastal marshes or grew up vacationing at the Jersey Shore, it's exactly what you'd expect and well worth it for the incredible wildlife and peaceful setting. If you're looking to be in the middle of the excitement of Wildwood, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a quiet escape surrounded by nature that's still only about 20 minutes from Wildwood and Stone Harbor, it's perfect. The owner was very responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay and are already planning to return next year!
