Please be aware that beach life on Hatteras includes dealing with coastal critters and insects.
We pride ourselves in keeping the house immaculately clean with an excellent cleaner and regular pest control service, but when doors are opened and closed it's possible for a critter to slip in. We ask for guests to have a reasonable reaction if an insect is spotted considering the climate and ecosystem of Hatteras Island.


Depending on the season, there are possibilities of tropical storms and hurricanes at the Outer Banks.


We do not refund for weather-related cancellations, so please purchase independent travelers insurance if you would like the possibility to cancel with refund due to storm.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

There are multiple flights of stairs at this home.
If an earlier checking is available then you will be made aware and will be free to come on and start your relaxation.

The beach is a 4 minute drive and has a lifeguard Memorial Day to labor day. There are bathrooms and showers at the beach access.

You are just minutes from the grocery store and other surrounding restaurants as well as the dollar general for things that you might have forgotten for your stay.

Plenty of bait shops in close proximity as well as sunset and fishing charters.

There is a community boat ramp for you to access if you are bring your boat with you.
