At the end of our long winding private driveway you will find Les Bigonnies, With no immediate neighbours, this 7-bedroom estate in Champagne-et-Fontaine is perfect for your escape. Spread over 3 properties, 2 3 bedroom house's and a studio attached to the games and pool room. The serene surroundings and cool interior make guests feel right at home. We can sleep up to 7 couples, With 6 king beds and 1 full bed, 5 en-suite rooms and a total of 8 toilets and 2 extra showers at our resort style pool area.
The pool is 10 x 5 and heated to 28°, Everyone will have a comfortable place to rest inside and out. A games room ,2 full sized kitchens and outside kitchen, Large stone bbq, Oni pizza oven, gas oven and plancher.
A choice of 4 terraces to eat or relax on, full covered terrace.Plenty of large Parasol's too.
Enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and modern amenities like Starlink/ Unifi WIFI, Shark fans and a 20 kilo resort size washing machine.
Experience what Champagne-et-Fontaine has to offer with a stay at our estate. Self Catering or the option of being catered for. Retreats, Wine tasting, Daily yoga or as an Intimate Wedding venue, the space is yours. You tell us what you would like, there are endless opportunities at Les Bigonnies (in plenty of time for availability)
A welcome platter on request,(extra cost) imagine just arriving unloading your cars and then parking in the car park and enjoying a meal delivered, no hassle no shopping just a pleasant evening with family or friends.
Have Croissants delivered every morning, or just the 1st morning whilst you explore the area.(extra cost)
Un spoilt views all around you, beautiful countryside all around, we have a field of sunflowers this year, the village bar is 2 minutes down the hill. A seasonal restaurant L'Ecole within walking distance.
Ribérac market on a Friday, 25 minutes away, Mareuil market on a Tuesday morning, 15 minutes away.
Angouléme market on a Saturday morning, 40 minutes away.
The beautiful Chàteau de la Mercerie, tours avalible, such a wonderful family story, 20 minutes away.
Throughout the summer season there is always something local going on, Farmers markets, Night markets, Food evenings, you choose your meat from the different butchers and then you go to the bbq and get it cooked.
This is old style traditional France.
All amenities are 15 minutes away by car.
Superu (Super market) 15 minutes drive, Pharmacy 15 minute drive.
If you are looking to unwind and enjoy a tranquil time away, then this is a perfect destination.
If you want to investigate this beautiful area of France then this is also the perfect destination.

We bought Les Bigonnies in June 2022 and moved in on the 1st of July. Left the UK behind us and have never looked back.
We love the area surrounding us and had a big gathering for my 50th birthday party and had a fabulous long weekend with family and friends. We had caterers in and Yoga in the morning's. Music and dancing, everybody had a fabulous time.
We knew we had to share the Estate with other large groups.
Retreats, Wine tastings,Car weekend's, Corporate event's, intimate wedding's,there are endless opportunities at Les Bigonnies. (Plenty of notice needed)
We are classed as Self catering or a dry hire.
Our change overs are on Mondays and Friday's.
So a long weekend or Monday to Friday or Monday to Monday.
Its all down to what you want.
(No Hen or Stag Parties)
