We loved staying at the farmhouse! Communication with Cathy was excellent! The property is beautiful &our daughter loved exploring, sitting by the creek, & visiting the goats. The farmhouse was so cozy & decorated with Christmas everywhere!

Wonderful stay on a picturesque property, in a historic home lovingly maintained by the same family that not only grew up in it, but has called this area their own for generations. With a mineral spring bubbling up next to the house, two mountain streams coursing through the property, and lush farmland surrounding you, it’s the perfect place to relax, sit back on the porch swing, and immerse yourself in one of the few places left that captures the authentic character of these mountains, and the people who for so long have called this land home.

Booked a weekend trip and it was lovely. Yes the house is old but adds on to the charm!! The owners are great and right around the corner! The place is very close to the downtown shops and restaurants which is very convenient. We would highly recommend this place to others and hopefully we will book a stay again in the future:)

Roomy comfortable country stay near NW GA outdoors. Blue Ridge is cute town with plenty of coffee shops and food. Helen Christmas Alpine area just a hour away. Very laid back and relaxing. Great host.

Cathy was very friendly and communicative. She was understanding and accomodating when our travel plans had some hiccups and we had to adjust our booking. The house was charming and warm and the property was beautiful. I liked that we were not right in town, but still close to everything. Had a great stay!

This rental was absolutely perfect for a sister reunion weekend! The farmhouse was exactly as described and the location was incredible! We had easy access to everywhere we wanted to go, and the house was lovely to come back to. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Everything was amazing, I would definitely come back!

This is an old run down house with tired furnishings. I get the attempt at farmhouse charm, but the mark was missed. Property needs a good deep cleaning and refresh. Also needs to be decluttered.

The property was just as described and the home was full of character. The history is pretty amazing and above all else, very peaceful. Cathy made sure everything was as expected and very welcoming. Will definitely be staying here again. Clean rooms, comfortable sleeping and the front porch swing with a babbling creek was the ticket for me.

Family friendly, very clean and in a quiet & peaceful area.Close to town and many outdoor activities.We enjoyed the Mercier Orchard & Apple picking, the mushroom farm and the many delicious restaurants.If you plan on going on the scenic railway, be sure to check their website. It fills up fast & wasn’t running when we were there.I recommend this wonderful Farm House.

We love the home feel. The small farm, the running water sound by the creek, and also the quiet of busy city life. I recommend this to anyone but families with kids would live this. We will be back with our family.

My family had a lovely time at this property last week. It was just as described an old farmhouse that clearly was loved and loved in by a family for many years. The moment we arrived we felt at home and I half expected my grandmother, who has sadly passed, to come out saying she had supper ready for us on the stove. The owners were so kind showing us around and letting us feed their goats and play with their dogs. I wish we could have stayed longer but rest assured it’s not our last visit. Nothing against the other vacation rentals in the area but this place had soul and heart and was exactly what I needed.

Quiet, beautiful land. Lovely stream with (optional) bridge. Would recommend going out around 10 pm- on the bridge under the tree canopy. Look up! Amazing View.

Nice farm home.

This is a nice country home very near Blue Ridge. Also close to some hiking. The hosts are very nice and accomodating. There is a side room which is great for reading. The babbling creek nearby is smooth sounding. We certainly recommendif you are in the Blue Ridge

Stepping back in the past

This was such a unique experience. The house is comfortable and lets you experience generations of the host family. Although the farmhouse doesn’t have all the modern amenities that most rental properties do, the charm and quaintness of the property is really worth it. It has everything you might need to simply enjoy your vacation. The property itself is very nice, the location is exceptional and close to downtown, restaurants, hiking, and the lake. Our kids enjoyed feeding the goats in the property and playing in the stream. The hosts were wonderful.
