This listing is fine if you're just looking for a place to sleep. It's a convenient location that's close to the metro and USC. We stayed here for two nights. When we first arrived, our front door handle was locked from the inside. This lock is separate from the keypad you use to (un)lock the unit. While the host called a locksmith and communicated with us timely, we did not enter the unit until 2.5 hours later. We had to cancel our first night plans. The host only said sorry for the inconvenience and provided no other compensatory relief, credit, or other means to rectify the mishap. Disappointing since some some of us traveled halfway across the country to be here. Customer service needs to be improved. Our group included 1 toddler and 2 crawling infants. The listing did not clearly show the location of the stairs. When you walk in the unit, there's a staircase in front of you which leads to the largest open space in the living room. If we would have known the stairs was so easily accessible from the living room, we would have brought a baby gate or looked elsewhere. An adult was posted at the top of the stairs at all times to make sure the babies weren't falling down the stairs. The listing pictures did not show the TV cords hanging down from the mounted TVs; the cords looked like they were tucked in the walls. Yet, the cords were hanging from the TVs for little hands to grab and pull.Positives: comfortable beds, a bathroom in every bedroom, 2 parking spots, location

The property is in a good location and was relatively clean. However, there are some important things future guests should know. The floors were not very clean — when my son walked barefoot his feet turned completely black, so it’s best to keep shoes or slippers on indoors.The apartment is spread over three levels. When you first enter, there is a master bedroom on the ground floor. Then there are about 15 stairs up to the kitchen, living area, washer, and dryer, and then another 15 stairs up to the two other bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed and is well equipped, while the other has two bunk beds which are fine for kids but felt small for adults.The biggest issue for us was that the three levels and all the stairs were not clearly mentioned in the listing. None of the pictures showed this, and it was a big problem because my mom had a broken foot and could not use the stairs. She was stuck on the ground floor and couldn’t even get to the kitchen. This made our stay very difficult.Supplies and equipment in the house were very minimal, and there were no carpets. VRBO support was not helpful when I raised the issue — they said only the owner could decide, and nothing could be done.Overall, while the location is good and the house looks as pictured, the lack of clear disclosure about the stairs and the minimal supplies made it a disappointing experience for us.
