The host was very friendly and quick to respond to texts. Some good fishing in the pond. And very centralized with all the activities in the red river gorge area.The underground kayaking was awesome. We would highly recommend staying here.

The cabin was perfect for our stay in RRG! It was very clean, and the location was wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings after hiking. We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit.

It was a cozy little cabin very perfect for a couple . It was nice having a fire pit at night. There were several places close by where you could get firewood.The hot tub was fantastic. A list was left of all the restaurants in the area, but we cooked in the cabin and on the grill. There is a charcoal grill right there. The bed was wonderful very comfortable.

The cabin was adorable! Just as advertised... but even cuter than it looks in the pictures! Location was great for visiting the Red River Gorge area. Hot tub was a nice way to relax after all of our adventures. Becky was really good about keeping in touch and giving us tips for the trip. Highly recommend!

The cabin was clean and cozy! I wish the weather had cooperated more so we could've used the firepit and spent more times out on the front porch or back deck. This was our first trip to RRG, and it was the perfect spot to start exploring the area!

Overall had a great stay. The cabin was as described. There were a few little things that could be upgraded, like living room lighting, but not a huge deal. Great spot to launch my RRG adventures. And my dogs loved it!

Very cute and cozy cabin! We were within half an hour or less of everything we wanted to do at the Gorge. The amenities in the cabin were great and it was all very clean. We enjoyed sunsets in the hot tub and seeing wildlife around the pond.

Cabin was clean and communication with host excellent. Lighting: Poor. Brighter lights needed throughout the cabin and need a light over the sink in bathroom. Extremely difficult to see when putting on makeup and shaving, etc. Comfort: Poor. New mattress needed. No support whatsoever. Bed came off the frame twice almost landing on husbands foot. My husband tried to sleep on the sofa bed. Sofa bed top and bottom collapsed. Center of sofa bed was the only flat spot but needed to lay horizontally which was not feasible. He slept on the couch which was not comfortable. Investing in these two areas would be highly recommended for a more enjoyable stay

Hi Lisette Thank you for sharing your experience. We are so sorry to hear that you had difficulty seeing in our cabin because of lighting. We recently added a lamp to the living room to increase lighting in addition to the already ceiling fan with light. There’s also a light n the kitchen area which is connected to the main area. I apologize if you did not see and utilize the extra lighting provided. We will look into the comfort of the mattress and bed situation for future guest. As a guest it is your responsibility to contact your host know when there is a problem so we can try to fix it and make you more comfortable to help your stay be more enjoyable. Becky

My husband and I had a great stay. Everything was clean and the location was great. WiFi was spotty but owners did try to fix it. We were on vacation to get away from it all so not a big deal.

Cozy cabin

very nice and cozy little cabin. Very clean and orderly upon arrival. The location is very convenient and easy to get to. The host had a nice packet with information about the area that was helpful. We will most definitely return to this cabin next time we visit the area.

The host was there shortly after we got there to recheck the hot tub and make sure everything was good. The cabin was beautiful! The host had stocked it with toiletries before we arrived. We loved the fire pit and the hot tub. There’s no smoking in the cabin (understandably!) but there is an ashtray provided on the back porch. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. No issues with the WiFi, tv, or heating. Also the host provided a little pamphlet that helped us determine where to go to eat and shop which was very helpful because this was our first trip to the gorge and it was not planned or anything! Everything in the pamphlet that we tried was 30mins or less from the cabin, so that was nice! This was our little honeymoon get away, and it was so nice we plan on making it a new tradition!!

The cabin was very cute and in a perfect location, close to all the amazing hikes and adventures in the area. The owner was excellent with communication and did their best to help with the WiFi, though it only worked briefly and was an ongoing issue during our stay. This was particularly challenging since I had hoped to work from the cabin, and I’m not sure if the connection comes directly from the cabin or from the owner’s home.The bed and pillows were unfortunately not very comfortable, and there were quite a few ants near the kitchen sink (with some even in the bathroom sink).Overall, the cabin’s charm and convenient location made our trip enjoyable, but with improvements to the WiFi, bedding, and pest control, it would be an even better stay.
