Adorable 1 dormitorio condominio 1 baño que duerme cuatro se encuentra en el sexto piso de la Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet.

Wonderful

The Property was wonderful. The only thing in the kitchen that was needed was a spatula for cooking. In the living area the TV only got a few channels, and we could not put our Netflix in. The TV in the bedroom was fine no problems.

This condo had a wonderful view of the ocean. It was surface clean but things like vents etc needs to be cleaned. If you want affordable with a view this is a great listing. I recommend updating the whole condo. It has so much potential. We did have an issue with the pull out sofa bed. It was dirty once unfolded & our son didn’t want to sleep on that mattress. He just slept on top of the sofa. The king bed was pretty comfortable. The balcony had corroded table & chairs. Ice maker worked well. The silverware was hilarious & looked ancient. The shower door had a mirror which was odd & I had some difficulty opening that side of it. No bugs thankfully just a few ants on the balcony. We would stay again if the pull out sofa was replaced. It was affordable & very basic. We had a wonderful view & location. With some TLC it would be amazing. If you’re looking to get away & affordability this is a great value. We did NOT like having to pick up the keys & then dropping them back off. We recommend updating to a keyless entry. Also, you have to pay an additional 30 to park on the property which is a little ridiculous. Overall, good value with an amazing view & good access to the beach.

Summer 2022

The condo had an updated kitchen. The bathroom needs updated. We had issues with the toilet running. There was no beach toys, chairs, or umbrella available to use, so make sure you bring your own. Previous condos we stayed at, at the same location, provided some of these items for use. The condo had a great view of the ocean!

Exactly what we needed!

Everything was perfect for us! The check in process was easy, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the property too, they even called me several hours before arrival to make sure I had the correct address for check in, as it was not at the condo. The condo was exactly as described and clean! Great view of the beach from our room, as well as the pool and tennis courts. The front desk person was friendly when I went to purchase our parking pass. FYI- if the power goes out, the stove beeps till you reset the clock- took us a hot minute at 3am to figure that out after a storm passed thru lol 😂 We would def stay here again!

Room not as it seems

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. We booked here because last year we had a very peaceful and relaxing vacation at this same condo building. The room was horrible. The bed was so uncomfortable that we checked out early to come home. The mattress needs to be changed out. The refrigerator is below satisfactory as it would not keep our food cold even though we followed the directions given at check in. The view was nice however you couldn’t stay outside long due to the yelling of others from balconies and yelling from their cars in the parking lot. The beach was super nice and very relaxing and the only perk of the vacation.

Stay was ok could have been better!!

We were there for a softball tournament. The place was ok. There is no door for the bedroom, as a matter of fact that is the first room you walk into. There is not even a curtain to separate the bedroom from the hall way. The fan in the bathroom also didn’t work so when we took a shower, if the door was not open the whole bathroom fogged up!! We did like that it was walking distance to the ocean and just a few minutes away from where the tournament was played. Our stay was ok, could have been better, but it served its purpose while we were there. This is not a bad place for two people but more than that if it was me I would not stay here due to the lack of privacy. My advice would be to find a way for some privacy for the bedroom, get a working fan in the bathroom, pillows for the couch to make it more like home, and something to make the place smell better.

Had great time with only one down call yo the room...

They place was great. The only down call we had was that after washing clothes, we put them in the dryer and the dryer ripped and burn some of the clothes. After the first load we where not able to wash clothes. Thank god we packed enough for the rest of the trip. Over all it was nice and cozy.. Great location..

I loved the place we stayed. The room was a little worn and needed painted in some places, and we were expecting a king size bed in the bedroom, but we did not have one. That is really the only complaint I have about this place. It was nice, updated, everything in working order, hot water when you needed it, beautiful grounds with excellent pools for the kids and hot tub. I also loved the location and not so close to all the hoopla, a more quieter place which we love. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to other people. Great place to stay with reasonable prices.
