Enjoyed our stay, the place was super clean and cozy. We stay in Phoenix X each time we come to orange beach. They had some construction going on but it wasn’t a bother to us.

Beautiful Spacious Unit

We have been vacationing in Orange Beach/Perdido for 33 years with family and friends. We have stayed in various complexes and units but this one was by far one of the nicest. So spacious, with a large dining table and so comfortable.

The floors were pretty dirty and the counter was sticky when we got there. Everything else about the condo was great. Great location!

Awakened by security

A real shock when security notified us that water was pouring over our balcony. It wasn’t so we really don’t know what the problem was; except of course, that we are now awake at 3:00 am

Always enjoy our stay at Phoenix X. Condo was perfect. Very beachy and plenty room for 5 adults and 4 teens. Couch bed was not comfy but counch was comfy.

Pros and Cons

My family and I (husband and 4 boys) have stayed all along the the coast line from this area into Florida. We did enjoy our stay here. Had no problems mentioned by other reviewers with the rental company. Pros: The condo was beautiful, well kept, clean and kitchen was better stocked than some of the houses we've rented in the past for much more money. Needless to say I came over- prepared not expecting all that was already there. one TV did refuse to work for us, but to be honest we weren't watching a lot of TV either so it didn't bother us. The view was beautiful and the beach was always clean and gorgeous. This seems to be a majority FAMILY FRIENDLY place to be. My kids made so many new friends I lost count. The staff was always friendly, polite, and helpful. It's not far from Adventure Island or the Wharf if you are looking to get out one night. And you MUST try Docs Seafood Shack for supper and the Hot Rod Diner for breakfast at some point during your stay. Both amazing places nearby. Cons: The indoor pool was practically inaccessible b/c of ONE rowdy group lining the pool and hot tub area with beer cans and constant loud swearing. (Again it was just ONE specific group of people; not the majority) The Phoenix 10 is right next door to Flora Bama (a bar) so expect some loud live music and from our experience police SUVs there every night. On our 3rd day there someone actually stole our beach chairs from the bins and we had to buy more so DO NOT trust them. Overall I would definitely stay here again if it was available. The pros overweighed the cons in my opinion.

Cindy: Thank you for the candid comments. We are happy the condo exceeded your expectations. Most of our owners were once guests so they know what most people need when coming here. The Phoenix X staff certainly does the best to maintain a family friendly environment and I am sorry one group managed to spoil things a bit. As for the Flora-Bama next door, Orange Beach usually keeps police SUVs there to make sure any problems are immediately contained. Our goal and the goal of all property owners here is to maintain the family friendly reputation we have worked hard to earn. We appreciate your review and hope to see you back soon.
