Inside, the bright and spacious living room features a wall of picture windows that flood the space with natural light and frame breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. Close to the property are the Cortina Mountain Trails - going out the front door, turn right out of the driveway, walk up the road and bend to the right you will enter the Cortina Mountain Trails; the NYS Forest Preserve - exit the driveway left, pass the entrance road then keep going around the bend to the right and all the way up to the end of the road you will enter the NYS Forest Preserve and Tannersville Bike Path - exit the driveway left, then take the first left down the entrance road you will end up back at Clum Hill Road where you entered the property. From the entrance road, Cortina Valley Lane facing Clum Hill Road from where you are standing to left diagonally you will see an entrance to the Tannersville Bike Path. If you follow this Bike Path you will end up in Tannersville.

Getting Around:
Kaaterskill Mountain House is 2 hours and 20 minutes from New York City. A car is essential for getting there and exploring the area. The main access routes are the I-87 S, NJ-17 S and Palisades Interstate Pkwy S. We strongly recommend a 4x4 or a car with four-wheel drive, especially in winter, to handle snow and gravel roads.

Other Things to Note:
A/C: The home has two window A/C units—one located in the main living room and another in the upstairs bedroom. Additional fans are provided to keep the home cool in warmer months.
