The Texas Bluebonnet for your Spring and Summer stays! The home is right in the Historic Downtown McKinney Square area and is a charming spacious home, which sleeps 7-9 comfortably -- your perfect home-away-from-home, whether you’re attending a wedding at one of the several local venues, one of the many local concerts, taking a family vacation/staycation, tournament, getting ready for the FIFA 2026 World Cup, having a nice couples getaway, getting in some much needed quiet time or attending any one of the many events in the vibrant Historic Square — Stay cozy and comfortably in this 3-bedroom home, which features a nice mix of sleeping arrangements, including a king, queen, two fulls, and twin bed. And pet-friendly! Additional amenities include a full coffee station, WiFi, TV streaming service and music streaming, full laundry room, ping pong table, grillin’ area and entertainment patio. All bathrooms come fully-equipped for added convenience.
With the perfect central location, this charming and quaint home offers a touch of Texas history with easy access to some of the best BBQ and local dining in Texas, as well as (yep, repeating ourselves a bit -- but with so much to do...) many festivals and weekly town events, including the Wine Walks, art festivals, concerts... the list never ends.
And we do love pets—the home is pet-friendly, so bring along your Texas friendly dogs!

The cutest house. The best neighborhood. Minutes away from the Square, good food and good vibes. The Hosts were great and very accommodating. Also its very dog friendly. We will definitely look into staying here again for future visits to see our grandchildren.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in this adorable house. We hosted a casual, rehearsal dinner with friends and family the night before our daughter’s wedding. All the guests loved the space and really enjoyed sitting on the back porch. The owners were super kind and very easy to work with. Very quick to respond. Check in and out was a breeze. Location is excellent and close to Chestnut square where the wedding was. We will definitely return.

They thought of everything so this was the most well equipped VRBO we have stayed in. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds and pillows are comfortable, the ping-pong table was fun, and they had a lot of games that made our down time really enjoyable with our family.

Amazing Place and hosts!

The place is adorable, comfortable and clean. Hosts were helpful for a last minute booking request. All the necessities for a stay are provided and some convenient extras like coffee, board games and great TV options. I was remote working and the WiFi and desk set up in main bedroom was convenient and worked well. We will definitely choose it again when in the area visiting family.

The home is just adorable and very welcoming--perfect for a short stay in McKinney--the rooms were just perfect and the outdoor space was just right. I would highly recommend the home and the owners, as they were very attentive to any questions we had. 10 out of 10!

Loved our stay here. It was a very comfortable house for our family.. a great room with a King bed room downstairs for the grandparents and great rooms upstairs for the rest of us. 8 all together. The location was perfect too .. close to the downtown district of McKinney and close to Walmart etc.. Was very nice. The only possible issue is if you are short the top kitchen cabinets are hard to reach .. otherwise it was a perfect home and very comfortable. We put the 500 piece puzzle together that was there and also played some other games provided.. Thank you for a great smooth stay!

Here's a little ditty about John & Diane, 2 Vrbo hosts doin' the best that they can! John & Diane went above and beyond to accommodate our 9 day stay in Mckinney for our wedding. We traveled with 3 dogs so initially the fence to the outdoor pet area was too short for our pups. They ended up adding an extension to the fence to accommodate our needs so we booked immediately due to the fence & super-fast responses. The check-in was very easy, the location was ideal for our wedding "home base" & very close to Historic Downtown, the rooms were spotless upon check-in along with a kind note and gift welcoming us for our special stay. The décor was absolutely stunning & captured the theme of our Texas wedding perfectly!John & Diane checked in with us several times throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed which we definitely did since they thought of everything for us for our extended stay. They even recommended pet-friendly places to go with our fur babies. When we return to McKinney, we will surely stay at the Texas Bluebonnet Home again. Thank you again John & Diane for your professionalism and kindness!

We love the historic and vibrant McKinney scene. There is always something going on in and around the Square. TUPPS and Spoons definite favorites, with a very close second with the many events, concerts, wine walks, beer samplings, outdoor restaurant venues and the list goes on, within the area.

The Ol' Texas vibe in the corner house people regularly notice and comment very positively on in the historic downtown McKinney area. It’s either the pretty blue blue and white exterior, the white picket fence, the stunning landscaping and overarching Texas Pecan tree, the relaxing screened patio or a combination of all of it!
