Welcome to Alma - your new casita in Laureles! This is the perfect space for remote workers or families featuring A/C, blazing fast wifi, and natural light.
It was recently remodeled & upgraded with brand new amenities - hammock, waterfall shower, smart TV, black out curtains, soundproof windows, washing machine, new toilet and appliances.
Alma is just minutes from the excitement of Laureles, but in a quiet neighborhood so you can sleep well and be ready for the adventure of Medellín!
The space
Full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, built-in dish soap dispenser, and automatic glass rinser.
Comfy living room with 55” smart TV and portable fan.
Tranquil dining area with sunroof letting the natural light pour in.
The perfect spot for relaxing evenings or hosting friends.
Spacious bedroom with queen bed, massive closet, and luggage racks
Small but efficient bedroom with ceiling fan and built-in shelves and lights.
Work with a view - desk includes monitor right in front of the window.
Luxurious bathroom with waterfall shower, storage space, and calming vibes
Large washing machine, drying rack and utility sink in the laundry area.
Guest access
Independent entrance. We share our gate with a neighbor. The entire apartment is yours to use. The balcony in the corridor is also available to you, but it's shared with other guests.

We’re happy to provide a double size air mattress for an extra guest or pack-n-play for kids for an additional price.

Just minutes walking from restaurants, cafes, bars, nightlife and shops but in a quiet secluded neighborhood filled with locals.
If you're debating whether to stay in Laureles or El Poblado, Laureles possesses several considerable benefits over El Poblado:
1. It is flat – walking around is much less strenuous and generally a lot more pleasant as the entirety of the neighborhood is located within the basin of the valley.
2. Less congested – El Poblado literally means ‘the populated’ in Spanish; an appropriate name as it tends to be very congested on the roads. In Laureles, there is definitely less traffic. This translates to less noise and a more relaxed ambience throughout the area.
3. More local – El Poblado is deemed the touristic hub of Medellin. Whilst that brings its own set of benefits, Laureles is definitely more grounded in the Colombian atmosphere (whilst still being brimmed with bars, restaurants and places of interest). A big benefit of this is that you’ll be more immersed in Spanish.
4. More central – Located pretty much in the center of the valley, you’ll be able to enjoy increased accessibility to the rest of the city – this includes proximity to the metro.
5. Crime and safety – Laureles is well cared for with a heavy presence of police, cameras and private security. There’s also a massive police station located in the heart of the neighborhood.
Another awesome feature is that Laureles fosters an environment of tranquility. Its tree-lined streets do well to make you feel secure and your soul nourished.
