La mejor ubicación en el lago para familias, parejas y deportistas dedicados que desean estar en el lago cuando sale el sol. Cinco minutos hasta la rampa para botes más cercana. Tres habitaciones, dos baños con 2200 pies cuadrados a ocho millas al norte de Del Rio Tx. Sala de estar es de baldosas, así como ambos baños con alfombra en las habitaciones. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama queen, el dormitorio de invitados # 1 tiene una reina y una individual, mientras que el dormitorio de invitados # 2 tiene una reina y una doble. Dependiendo de los arreglos para dormir, debe acomodar a 6-8. Un gran lugar para disfrutar del lago, pesca, caza o atracciones turísticas cercanas. Del Río es sin duda la ciudad fronteriza más bonita de Texas. Compras, el viñedo más antiguo de Texas, museos, cines y excelentes lugares para comer están a 15 minutos en automóvil de la casa. El parque estatal Seminole Canyon está a solo 20 minutos en coche y es una visita obligada. La seguridad no es un problema aquí, como puede serlo en otras ciudades a lo largo del Río Grande. ¡Ven y disfruta!

Great place to stay

Second time staying at Mike’s and will definitely book again! Perfect location and perfect house for a weekend on Amistad with the family! Mike is always easy to get ahold of and very easy to communicate with for check in and check out!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was very clean and comfortable with lots of room. The property has lots of wildlife with many deer and great birding in the area. The host provided very timely responses to all of our questions. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the property to anyone visiting the area.

Great place close to the lake. Couldn't ask for a better neighborhood to keep your boat. Beds are very nice and home is perfect for hunters and fishermen.

Great house

We mainly used it just for sleeping accommodations as my nephew and his family were just transferred from UK to the AFB in Del Rio and there were too many of us to all stay at their house. This house is really big with plenty of beds. Great communication with owner and it was a great trip! Also amazing sunrise!

This Lake Amsted house is perfect

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It is just as shown, clean, cool A/C, convenient to the lake and the boat ramps. The house is very roomy, we had eight people and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and eat comfortably. Everything we needed was provided: soaps/shampoos/towels/laundry soap/propane/hair dryer/refrigerator staples/cooking spices/paper goods/coffee/washer and dryer/ coffee maker plus much more. This is a great place to stay and enjoy the beautiful Lake Amsted.

Great getaway!

I wasn’t able to go on this trip but have reviews from the 4 picky men that did. “Best place we’ve ever stayed”! They go to Del Rio at least 4 times a years and are already making plans to try to book this house again. There was more than enough room for 2 trucks and 2 boats in the driveway, comfy beds, and everything they would’ve needed to cook dinner. Very clean property which they aren’t really used to when renting a lake property. Bonus was that there was plenty of room for them all to stretch out on Saturday afternoon to watch their favorite college teams, or take a nap. Mike, the owner, was wonderful! Talked to him several times by phone and text. He even texted just to make sure they made it and ask if the fishing was good. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone wanting somewhere comfy and clean to stay while they enjoy all the fishing, and other activities, at Lake Amistad.

EXCELLENT! Home away from home!

Let me start my review by letting you all know what a great guy Mike the owner of the home is. You can tell Mike really cares and wants everyone to enjoy their stay in his home. He wanted to make sure we made it safely and to let him know if we needed anything while we were there. Of course, we never needed a thing because the house had everything anyone would need. There were plenty of towels, laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, cookware and coffee. All of the comforts of home. The view of the lake from the front porch is gorgeous. I loved to sit on the porch in the morning and watch the beautiful sunrise over the lake. The colors were amazing. The deer are like pets there. I bought several loaves of bread and they practically ate out of my hand. There was one deer that came running up to me anytime I went outside almost like a puppy. Mike also has a deer feeder in the back that goes off in the morning. So you will see plenty of deer. The neighborhood is very nice and really quiet. There is a Dollar General 5 minutes down the road if you need to pick something up quickly or you can drive 10 to 15 minutes into town where there is a Wal-Mart and HEB. Del Rio has a ton of restaurants too. I took a drive around Lake Amistad and it is so pretty. I have stayed in several VRBOs and this has to be my favorite. I felt safe and comfortable like at home. My son is in the Army and stationed in Del Rio and I definitely plan on staying at Mike's again. Thank you Mike for everything. The time I got to spend with my son at your house is priceless and we really appreciate your hospitality.

Wedding Accommodations

We arrived at night and found the property easily. Once inside the room ES were welcoming, large and very comfortable. The kitchen had all amenities and although we did not cook any real meals, we could have easily done so. WiFi and cellular worked very well and we had no problems with the televisions. The host provided easy instructions for check in and check out. We had no complaints and highly recommend this property.
