Candlewood Lake House - 60 miles to NYC - Amazing deck, nature, views

We are right in front of Candlewood Lake the largest lake in CT. Walk across the road to take a swim, fish or kayak. Motor boat rentals available at nearby marinas. Our property abuts Sweetcake Mountain Nature Preserve. There are hiking trails next to the house up to a spectacular overlook of the lake. Surrounded by gorgeous nature with easy access to all outdoor activities and only 60 miles from NYC ! Shopping and restaurants close by.

You will love the sweeping views of the lake with spectacular sunrises from the huge comfortable wrap around deck or from comfortable lounge chairs in living room. We call our home the Magic Treehouse because we are up in the trees surrounded by nature. Great home to relax, restore and to gather with loved ones - big kitchen, comfortable beds, big rooms. Our home has something fun for everyone: hot tub, outdoor shower, comfy double chaise lounge chairs, hammock, basketball court, trampoline, ping-pong table, spike ball, darts & movie room with theater seats and popcorn maker, gas BBQ grill.

We rent with access to three of the four bedrooms: 1 king bed and 2 Queen beds. There is also a memory foam twin bed in the movie room that be easily moved to any other bedroom. This is our primary home so we only rent went we are traveling. If you want a relaxing getaway don't look any further!

Important: our driveway is very steep and there are steps to access the main living floors and the amazing deck is high - this should be considered if you have very young children or mobility concerns.
