Villa Nour - 3BR sea view pool luxury villa in Srithanu

The Villa

Completed at the start of 2023, Villa Nour was named after its abundance of natural light. The luxe home lies on +800m2 of breezy hillside land in the highly sought-after Srithanu area. Feast your eyes on the unforgettable view of coconut groves rolling down to the splendid sea as the sun sets over Hin Kong Bay.

Behind you lies the lush nature of the national park which borders the back of the property. It takes just a few minutes to drive from the villa to central Srithanu - the island’s wellness hub - and nearby popular beaches. Reachable only via two infrequently used access roads, the villa and surrounding garden are a wonderfully safe and serene oasis within the lively Srithanu neighbourhood. Villa Nour comfortably accommodates up to six guests, and is well suited to groups of friends, couples, digital nomads and families with babes in arms or older children (age 12+).


The three beautiful bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms:

Awaken your senses and start your day right under an energising rain shower, bathing in natural daylight and soaking up the nature view through the bathroom window whilst enjoying Villa Nour’s locally sourced, aromatic bathroom amenities. The villa’s three spacious and elegant bathrooms feature three-metre-long polished concrete countertops with sunken wash basins, hand-crafted mirrors and white sand-washed floors.

One bedroom is located on the ground floor; two adjacent bedrooms are located on the first floor. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have cozy indoor seating options. Two of the bedrooms open to peaceful, private balconies.

Before sinking into your sumptuous king-size bed, decide whether to keep the blackout curtains drawn to catch up on sleep or open to wake to the shimmering sea and sunlight. The bijou bedrooms were intentionally designed in light tones to create a cocoon within which to retreat, relax, reconnect and renew. Each of the intimate bedrooms is complemented by a large walk-in wardrobe (with a safe) to conveniently store belongings, with plenty of spare space for any holiday outfits you may be tempted to buy from the island’s charming boutiques and markets.


The well-equipped kitchen and dining area:

Gather in the spacious kitchen to cook a meal together, learn how to prepare your favourite Thai dishes during a Thai cooking class or simply sit back, relax and enjoy good company and good food in the comfort of Villa Nour – the kitchen has plenty of room for it all.

The open contemporary space features a 3-metre-long polished concrete countertop, a custom-built kitchen island, a bespoke wooden dining table for six and a well-equipped kitchen. The 7-metre long sliding glass doors can be opened wide for an al fresco dining experience. Enthusiastic cooks ourselves, we have ensured that basic cooking ingredients and appliances are in place for our guests. We will also gladly share tips on our favourite local food stores and farms with fellow cooking-enthusiasts.

The well-lit dining table has nearby power outlets and can also be used as an air-conditioned workspace. Throughout the villa, 1GB fibre-optic internet is available.

Regularly replenished drinking water is available from the kitchen’s water dispenser.


The spacious indoor living area:
Turn on the A/C and cuddle up on the comfy sofa to enjoy a movie night on the 55” smart TV or turn on the sound system and slide open the glass doors to let in the breeze. The +45m2 living room with adjacent guest lavatory provides an inviting space to relax and host visitors on the custom-made sofa and wooden armchairs before flowing on to the dining area or pool deck. The floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors create harmonious in/outdoor living experience, inviting a breeze and plentiful natural light into the living room.


The sunny outdoor spaces:

Embrace/greet a new day with a sun salutation on the upper terrace as the sun starts to rise, stroll with a loved one through the colourful garden, soak up the sun on the pool deck’s comfortable lounge chairs then plunge into the pool’s cool waters, read and nap in the dappled shade of the upper terrace in the dreamy breeze as the ceiling fan gently whirs overhead, marvel at the vibrant sunset as it ignites the vast horizon or let yourself be tempted by the pool’s night lights to indulge in a night swim.

Set against the rolling hills of Koh Phangan National Park, a small yet charming tropical garden adorns Villa Nour. Shaded by a tall tree which greets guests at the door, the villa provides several outdoor spaces to connect with the island’s nourishing natural beauty: on the ground floor, a large wooden pool deck and +9-metre long salt-water infinity pool ornamented by Balinese stone tiles allows swimmers to immerse themselves in the stunning land- and seascape. On the first floor, a terrace surrounded by tropical plants provides a perfect spot to exercise (yoga mats are provided) and to unwind on its generous outdoor sofas.


OTHERS IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
- Koh Phangan is experiencing rapid development with many new constructions across the island. Although the villa is in a quiet residential area, construction is currently ongoing about 50m away and important noise disturbance can be expected during daytime (9AM to 5PM).

- If requested, we are happy to arrange taxi pick up from the pier to the property. Let us know 24h in advance your time of arrival and will manage everything for you accordingly.

- We offer cleaning, provide fresh bed linens and towels and replenish supplies once a week. Upon request, additional cleaning services can be arranged at a reasonable rate.

- Pool maintenance is carried out twice a week. An employee of the maintenance company will therefore be at the villa for around 20 minutes. Guests are not required to be present during this time and will be informed in advance of the day and time of the planned maintenance visit.

- Also please note that the last 50 meters of public road to access the property is currently unpaved and although easily accessible by bike/scooter or elevated car it is not recommended for city type cars.

- We hope our guests will find rest and healing in the beauty and tranquility of the villa’s natural surroundings. Please note that we do share the tropical jungle with other inhabitants, such as ants, mosquitoes, spiders, and geckos. We maintain high cleaning and pest control standards and will also share guidance with you on how to keep nature’s creatures out of the villa during your stay.

- Power cuts occur from time to time. They usually do not last more than a few hours. Kindly note that this is outside of our control. We provide candles/flashlights/solar lamps. No generator is available on site.
