We came to the area to dress shop with the girls in Nashville and this place was close enough to Nashville but just enough out of the way. The place was clean and the beds were all comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the backyard and we made time for s’mores in the fire pit! We definitely recommend!!

We reserved this charming house for the Labor Day weekend and had a great experience. The property was clean and the beds were super comfortable. The owner was very timely in their communication and checked in regularly to make sure our stay was going well. Great location and the only thing I wished was that I packed my telescope. The night skies were dark enough for some star gazing.

The house was nice and clean. The host is amazing and we are so grateful for our ability to stay there for over a month. The house is older so that comes with drawbacks, but nothing you could fault the host/owner about.

Good place to stay with everything you need. Has pots and pans with a nice kitchen. There is also a nice fire pit area outside. The area is quiet and safe to stay. Has plenty extra blankets and the hosts were very communicative.

We had a wonderful month-long stay! The area is beautiful, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable extended stay. The hosts were fantastic, responsive, and thoughtful. We also got to meet the neighbors, which made the experience feel even more like home. Highly recommend this property!

With only pictures for us to go by, my wife and I looked over many a house and Hotel accommodations. We decided on this place for a lot of reasons. The three bedrooms and two baths were defiantly a plus and they looked to be clean and comfortable. The Pool table was a pleasant addition.During our stay in which we came to visit our Daughter and Grandchildren we had planned to stay most of the time at their houses and at other events only using the house to sleep at. The House itself was not meant to be a place of entertainment (which I believed when I placed the order) but a place of comfort. Inside it had large rooms and a kitchen that we made constant use of. Within one day all the relatives that I had come to visit started meeting at this house because of the comfort they felt while they were there. I had a enjoyable stay at this house and if I make another visit next year, I would very much love to be in this house. I would thank the Host for being so hospitable.

Our families love to travel and often times stay at short term rentals. When we were trying to decide what to do with my grandmother’s home the only thing we knew for sure is that it needed to stay in the family. We all have so many wonderful memories of her home and thought why not use it as a short term rental so others can continue to make great memories there. Since we have stayed at several short term rentals over the years we tried to think of the things that made the great rentals great and incorporate as much as possible into this home all while preserving some of the vintage elements that made it my grandparents home.

Our property is located on a working family farm that was purchased by my great grandfather (W C Locke) at an auction in 1952 unbeknownst to my great grandmother. Later that day when my great grandfather arrived home and told my great grandmother to pack. He had purchased a farm and they were moving to Cottontown, it was near a small town named White House, TN. I am quite sure that no one in the family had ever heard of this town as well as most people living in Tennessee at that time. In 1963 my grandmother and grandfather built their home and moved to the farm. Since that time many other family members have built their homes on the property.

Today we have several types of animals around the farm, Cows, Mangalista pigs, Honey Bees, Chickens, Guineas, Peacocks(our newest additions), Cats, and Dogs.

Growing up the farm was always a magical place for my cousins, siblings and self. We look forward to sharing this home with you in hopes you may make some great memories as well.
