Perfect ski chalet

My group stayed here for one of our ski trips to Stratton. This house was about 25 minutes away and had everything we needed! On top of being clean, the house is very well laid out!

Excellent getaway within distance of ski mountains

Our group (6 adults + 2 infants) had a fantastic time staying at this property! The house was clean with plenty of fun amenities and within close proximity to Manchester, as well as three different ski mountains. Michael/Shelley were very responsive which is always comforting to know if you ever need anything. Thank you both again for the fun time!

Ski vacation

The house is lovely, well appointed and just like it is described and pictured in the listing. Really a perfectly ideal spot for our family for a ski trip. Loved the fireplace (and the stocked wood pile)- and while it was no where near cold enough this last December for a fire in the wood stove it is a really nice feature (and we hope to have another chance to use it!) Host was great as well. Would definitely recommend, and we will certainly look at booking this for our next trip!

Great house for families

The house is the perfect size and in the perfect location. It fits our family of 5 plus friends or extended family. Only 3 miles to Bromley, 25 minutes to either Stratton or Okemo. And our favorite part is the hot tub. This is our second stay here and we will definitely book again.

Great house for groups near ski mountains

A group of friends and I stayed here and had a great long weekend skiing. The layout of the house was great for a larger group. We loved having the open living space with the kitchen, living room and dining space all open on one level. The rooms were spaced out nicely for privacy. The home had all of the items we needed. The kitchen was relatively well equipped but didn’t have a few essential items, (eg. garlic press, wine opener) so keep in mind if you plan to cook a lot and want to bring some of your own things if you feel necessary. The sauna and hot tub were so nice to have after skiing and were easy to use. The placement of the hot tub was a little odd as it was outside the garage but still great to have. The grill worked well. The fireplaces kept the home warm. They hosts provided an abundance of firewood - major perk! Great communication with the hosts. Definitely recommend this home.

So glad you enjoyed the house and thanks for the feedback! Just ordered new wine openers and wine glasses as they have disappeared over the course of a busy rental season! Plans to move The hot tub on the brand new bottom deck after the wood gets its last finish end of season. Happy to have you again!

clean, great location, helpful gracious hostess

easy entry, clean, comfortable beds, good kitchen well supplied with basics and convenient unexpected extras. easy helpful phone contact with owner. We woke up to icy driveway, she sent plow and sander almost immediately. Great location close to Bromley, Wild Wings (country, snow shoeing) and 6 well paved miles to Manchester. Well stocked wood fireplace, hot tub, sauna. We hope to return.

Wonderful location with a valley view.

Place was a perfect getaway with a spectacular view to the fall foilage located on the top of a hill. House was clean and it had everything. I had nothing to worry about. I'd want to stay there again.

A beautiful home away from home.

This house was everything and more. It was very clean,spacious and the owner was so kind and extremely helpful. Had a slight issue getting up a steep snowy driveway (in which she warned about) but she had snow plowers come and get it salted and cleaned so we could safely get up and down the driveway. 4x4s are definitely better when going in snowy conditions! It it incredibly close to Bromley and Stratton. Stratton was a great time. It was our first family trip together and because of our wonderful stay we plan on having many more. We hope our home and home owners in the future are as kind and helpful as these in Peru. Would definitely book here again at my next stay in Vermont. Thank You Shelley! Congrats again!

Great ski house

Spacious, comfortable home 5 minutes from Bromley, with amenities including whirlpool, sauna, gym, outdoor hot tub, and fireplace. Hosts graciously stocked ample coffee, hot chocolate, and spices in an open kitchen. Will inquire again should we visit Bromley/Stratton/Magic in coming years.

Best owner and 5 mins to ski w/sauna

This house is located 5 minutes from the famous Bromley SUN mountain. The owner Shelley is super accommodating and is always attentive to any concerns and questions we had. The house is in great condition and spacious for our kids and the family doodle! The sauna and gym room was a mega plus, we didn’t get to use the hottub as it was -15 the whole week after Christmas. Just to note this is an up and down house, not a widespread layout house for the curious. The house was super clean and a fully stocked kitchen with almost all the necessities. TV, cable and Wifi was good enough for all. The fireplace was a great center piece for the kids and adults to get together and chill after skiing. Also the dining table area is nice in its own space but the adults just ate the the kitchen bar area. The house has a nice sloped hill and we made the best of it making a sled trail, saved money from going tubing. As noted some 4wd will be needed to get up the hill to the house, this is due to the snow and icing on the driveway from the sun melting during the day. Outlet shopping is 15 minutes away in Manchester, plus there are great restaurants in town with tons of selection. Not much else to write about as its just shopping haha. As with any rentals there will always be some issues during a stay, but Shelley worked it out promptly. (1 bulb went out, can opener can’t be found) BOOK with confidence, as we would not hesitate to book with Shelley in the future and will definitely be back in the future.

Enjoy secluded nature living with all the comforts of a luxury accommodation. In the summer you can hike on the property and enjoy close by swimming at a spring fed pond (Hapgood) the winter you can sled on the property. Pantry is fully stocked!
