Charming Historic House with Sea Views in the Heart of Almuñécar's Old Town

Step into authentic Andalusian charm just 5 minutes from the beach. This delightful three-story home is nestled in the cobbled streets of Almuñécar’s historic center and offers beautiful sea views from its rooftop terrace.

The ground floor welcomes you with a cozy dining area, a comfortable sofa, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower.
On the first floor, you'll find the main bedroom and a small lounge with a sofa bed suitable for two guests.
The top floor features a third room with its own shower and toilet, leading to a charming terrace complete with a dining area and BBQ – perfect for sunset dinners. Climb a few more steps to reach the rooftop solarium, where sunbeds and stunning sea views await.

Please note:
Due to the traditional architecture of this historic house, there are several stairs throughout the property, including steeper steps and low door frames typical of old Andalusian homes. Guests who are very tall, have limited mobility, or are traveling with small children may find the layout challenging. We kindly recommend this home for those comfortable with stairs and seeking a truly authentic experience.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire house, ensuring complete privacy during their stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking and dining.

We chose Almuñécar Old Town for its charm, authenticity, and unbeatable atmosphere. Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the hills, this historic neighborhood is a beautiful maze of narrow cobbled streets, whitewashed houses with colorful flower pots, and hidden corners that feel like stepping back in time.

There's something truly magical about waking up to the sound of church bells, wandering past local bakeries, and watching the morning light paint golden tones on ancient stone walls. Life here moves at a slower, more meaningful pace—neighbors greet you by name, and everything feels deeply connected to tradition.

One of our favorite things is the plazas—especially in the evenings when locals gather for tapas, kids play freely, and there's always a gentle murmur of laughter and conversation. The scent of jasmine and grilled seafood in the air is unforgettable.

From the Moorish castle on the hill to the vibrant Mercado Municipal, everything is within walking distance. There's a rich cultural rhythm here, blending Andalusian soul with the laid-back coastal vibe.

Our home is a beautifully restored historic Andalusian house nestled in the heart of Almuñécar’s Old Town. What makes it truly special is how it combines authentic character with comfort, across several levels thoughtfully designed to make the most of the surroundings.

On the ground floor, there’s a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy dining area, and a full bathroom—all filled with natural light. One floor up, you’ll find a comfortable bedroom and a bright living room with a pull-out sofa, ideal for guests or relaxing evenings.

Another level up is a second bedroom with en-suite bathroom, which opens directly to the main terrace—perfect for outdoor dining and enjoying the sun. There’s a portable BBQ, perfect for casual meals under the open sky. A few steps lead to the upper rooftop terrace, where you’ll find sun loungers and sweeping views of the sea, the mountains, the cathedral, and the tiled rooftops of the old town. Sunsets here are unforgettable.

Adding to the charm is a fantastic Andalusian restaurant right outside the door, with live flamenco on Wednesdays and blues music on Thursdays—a rare cultural bonus just steps away.

The house is equipped with fast, free Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and air conditioning in all rooms, making it comfortable year-round.
