Elegant summer Villa for relaxing vacations

In Villa Renata, guests can have a relaxing holiday break, in an outstanding and quiet mountainous location some km of distance from the famous seaside of Kalami, Almirida and Kalives, but also some major archaeological sites such as Aptera stronghold and Koules fortress. The villa provides a gorgeous swimming pool and verandas with a unique view to the Apokoronas area, as well as a private parking area.

Our newly built villa is located just 9km from the town of Chania, in Megala Chorafia, in Apokoronas area. The villa was built in 2008 and is open all year. We offer a luxurious bright space with gorgeous outdoor facilities, a pool area with chaise lounge chairs, surrounded by olive trees and Cretan nature. We offer total privacy in a quality space for your family.

From our Villa, you can reach all the famous locations of this part of Chania. Of course Megala Chorafia, this marvelous village is just a few minutes of driving distance away. Al the beaches of the area, famous for their crystal clear waters and organized facilities along with the breathtaking natural habitat are also a few minutes of distance away.

Our villa is fully equipped with everything a family may need for relaxing and worry free holidays. We provide only the best in amenities, materials and all needed essentials for your stay.

• Ground floor
On the ground floor, two comfortable queen sized beds are found in two bedrooms, each with its own balcony. The third bedroom with bunk beds is located on the same floor. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have their own closets and storage spaces. Two super large and comfortable bathrooms are also located on the ground floor. One consists of bathroom and WC and the second one of shower/WC

• Upper floor
The upper floor, with an open plan space, consists out of a spacious living room with fireplace, a dining area, a wc and a modern kitchen fully-equipped with a big refrigerator, an electric kitchen, a dishwashing machine and a dining table. Moreover, it has a spacious veranda with a gorgeous mountain view of the White Mountains 'Lefka Ori' and the sea shore at the north of Crete!

• Outdoors
What we offer in our villa is of great quality and our outdoors spaces couldn't be of any less beauty. A large swimming pool and a patio area equipped with gorgeous chaise lounge chairs and sun shades are there for you to use in total privacy and enjoy the gorgeous Cretan Summer sun. Fully equipped barbecue facilities are available.

House has its own private garden with some fruit trees from where you can pick up fresh fruits. The location is perfect for kids also. Totally safe for them. There is also private parking spot available right next to the house. Villa Renata is located only 2 km away from the sandy beach of Kalives. Traditional tavernas and a mini-market are less than a five-minute walk away. Moreover, the ancient town of Aptera is located 15 minutes walk away.

In Villa Renata, you can rest assured that you will have the chance to relax in a perfect summer environment and enjoy your vacations. At the same time, for the adventurous ones -since we are conveniently located at the heart of Apokoronas region- you can drive to the mountainous areas, explore unique traditional villages and rural paths, taste the original Cretan cuisine or just head north towards the sea shore and swim at some of the most gorgeous beaches in the whole of Chania.

Our village and Megala Chorafia is a favorite destination for a large number of people because it is a cozy yet quiet village with all amenities, such as two excellent restaurants, cafes and also easy access to all nearby locations.

Our area is ideal for people who really want to relax on their holidays and enjoy nature and the less touristy side of Crete, without being too far from the larger tourist resorts such as Kalyves, Georgioupolis or Chania. Holidays here are for enjoying with your family, alone or with your partner, if you prefer peace and romantic moments admiring the splendid sunset.

There are all kinds of amenities, services and shops at the nearby villages of Kalami, Almyrida and Kalives satisfying all your needs for a trouble free stay in our villa.

We are located approximately 15 km of distance to the airport of Chania and a mere 5 km to Souda port. If you want to reach Chania city center you follow the highway and in 7 km of driving distance, you arrive at the town. All other points of west part of Chania are easily accessible by car due to easy entrance to the highway

*Please be aware that our rates exclude an additional stayover tax. For stays from April to October, the tax is €15 per night, while from November to March, it is €4 per night. This tax applies to all bookings starting January 1st, 2024. Guests are required to pay this additional tax directly to the check-in assistant who will be responsible for key handover upon arrival.
