This is a self check in property and we are nearby, but off-site. You will have privacy and peace. Please note that garden and pool maintenance are scheduled and authorized to be on the property twice a week so this is to be expected. And to ensure your gorgeous views remain tidy!

To reach the house, you’ll take a well-maintained 4km dirt road—a common feature in Costa Rica, where most neighborhoods are accessed from dirt roads off the main highways. No 4x4 is needed. The home is part of a community of luxury residences, blending comfort with the beauty of the wild.

The finca is home to diverse wildlife, including howler monkeys, which you’ll often hear in the mornings, and the more elusive white-faced capuchins. Colorful birds, butterflies, and even the occasional giant toad near the pool add to the vibrant ecosystem. While large spiders, ants, and tropical bees are present, we use non-toxic fumigation to keep them at bay. Thankfully, mosquitoes are minimal, and the region is free from mosquito-related diseases.

This home—and Costa Rica as a whole—is perfect for nature lovers. If the idea of spotting wildlife and the occasional insect doesn’t sit well with you, this may not be the ideal vacation spot. But for those who appreciate the magic of the jungle, this is paradise!
House Rules & Guidelines

**There is NO Smoking on this property of any kind due to the owner`s sensitive allergy ** this includes cigars, cigarettes, and any other material. This is a no smoking property inside and out. There will be a fine charged should smoking (or evidence of) have occured. We appreciate your understanding.

Trash Disposal: Please dispose of your trash in the designated area at the entrance of the Finca both during your stay and upon departure.

Air Conditioning: Use responsibly—avoid setting it to excessively low temperatures to prevent damage. Keep doors and windows closed while in use and turn off units when leaving the house.
Lighting: Please turn off garden and pool lights before going to bed.

Water Conservation: Guanacaste experiences seasonal water shortages, so please use water mindfully.

Respect for Neighbors: This is a peaceful residential community with families and children. Events are not permitted, and the Finca gate code must remain private. If playing music, keep the volume low.

Guest Policy: The number of guests must not exceed the reservation. If additional guests are present, we reserve the right to terminate the rental.

Security & Valuables: While Costa Rica is generally safe, theft can occur. Insurance does not cover tenant belongings, so please secure valuables, lock doors when leaving or at night, and avoid leaving items outside. Safes are available in each Master Bedroom for your use.

- Quiet hours after 8:00 pm.
- Only listed guests are allowed to stay overnight, past 10:00 pm.
- Please respect check out time. We have recently had guests overstaying the posted check out time affecting the next reservation. In such cases, we will be charging 60% of the last night`s rate.
- Please note that there is an additional charge of $40 per towel (bath or pool), $25 per hand towel and/or washcloth and $100 per sheet set for lost, damaged and/or stained items.
- In the case of lost keys guests will be charged $25 for replacement.
