Bees Homestay Sapa & Trekking – Stay Quiet, Live Local
Tucked away in the peaceful hills of Muong Hoa Valley, about 12 km southeast of Sapa town, Bees Homestay Sapa is a hidden gem for travelers seeking a quiet, authentic, and immersive experience in northern Vietnam.
This cozy homestay is run by us – Pang and Gio, a Hmong couple born and raised in Sapa. We are both experienced local guides, and we created Bees Homestay not just as a place to sleep, but as a place where you can truly slow down, reconnect with nature, and feel at home.
Unlike the more touristic villages of Ta Van or Lao Chai, our village remains untouched by mass tourism. Around our home, local families still live in traditional wooden houses, plant rice on terraced fields, weave hemp, and dye fabric with natural indigo. The scenery is pure and quiet – in front of the house are wide green rice terraces, and on rainy days you might see the Seo Choong Ho waterfall flowing like clouds from the mountain.
At Bees Homestay, we offer a comfortable private stay with beautiful valley views, fresh mountain air, and delicious homecooked meals prepared with love. You’ll experience the daily life of a Hmong family and feel welcomed as part of the community.
We also offer a variety of one-day trekking and motorbike tours guided by us or our local team. You can hike through remote trails, visit ethnic villages like the Hmong, Red Dao, Tay and Giay, or hop on a motorbike to explore hidden waterfalls, rice terraces, and local markets. For food lovers, we also offer cooking classes with local women where you’ll learn how to make traditional dishes and hear stories from the village.
Whether you’re staying for one night or three, traveling solo or with friends, we invite you to live simply, walk slowly, and breathe deeply with us.
Bees Homestay Sapa is not just a place to stay – it’s a quiet home, full of culture, nature, and heart.
We’re looking forward to meeting you soon.
With love,
Pang & Gio

Hello and warm greetings from Sapa!
We are Gio and Pang, a local Hmong couple born and raised in the remote mountain villages of Sapa, where 100% of the people in our communities are Black Hmong. We grew up surrounded by nature, rice terraces, and the simple rhythms of village life.
As we got older, we started learning English by talking with travelers, and eventually became local trekking guides, leading guests through the hidden trails, valleys, and ethnic villages of this beautiful region. Over time, we realized that we wanted to do more than just guide tours – we wanted to create a home, where people from around the world could not only visit, but truly live and feel the culture of our people.
That’s why we built Bees Homestay Sapa – not as a hotel, but as a cultural home filled with the spirit of Hmong life: traditional wooden houses, warm meals cooked on wood fires, the sound of chickens in the yard, and the peaceful views of rice terraces that change with the seasons.
We love hosting because it gives us a chance to share our culture, food, and way of life with kind and curious guests. We believe there is something magical about the simple beauty of the mountains, the kindness of village people, and the deep stories behind Hmong traditions.
At Bees Homestay, we also offer you the chance to experience more than just a bed – you can join us on trekking adventures, hop on motorbike tours, or learn how to cook Hmong dishes in a local cooking class. Through these experiences, we hope to help you discover not just nature, but the soul of Sapa.
We are so happy to welcome you into our home and into our lives.
With love from the mountains,
Gio & Pang

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
Because this is where I was born and raised.
I (Gio) grew up in this very village, surrounded by terraced rice fields, forested hills, and the warmth of Hmong traditions. When Pang and I got married, we dreamed of building not only a home for our family, but also a homestay where we could welcome guests from around the world. We wanted to share the beauty of our land, the culture of our people, and the simplicity of everyday life in the mountains.
That’s why we created Bees Homestay Sapa & Trekking – not just as a place to stay, but as a sweet little space filled with warmth and meaning. Like a beehive tucked in the hillside, it’s a home where guests can rest after long, busy days; where they can leave their worries behind, enjoy home-cooked meals, breathe fresh air, and feel like part of something simple, real, and beautiful.
We chose this neighborhood not only because it is our home, but because we truly believe it has something worth sharing – the peaceful rhythm of Hmong life, untouched landscapes, and a feeling of belonging that we hope every guest will carry with them.
