This magnificent home combines rustic elegance with modern convenience. Perfect for entertaining, it includes two fire areas, a plumbed fire table on the main deck (also a grill) and a large patio pit below. A new concrete driveway leads to a custom built three car carport that compliments the home's grand design. There is also a custom fenced doggie relief turf area and a whole house 22kw generator in case of power outages.

This private home is replete with Rumbling Bald amenities of two 18-hole championship golf-courses, beach, 4 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool and huge hot tub, 18-hole putt-putt, gym, spa, restaurants, basketball, and tennis/pickleball courts. There is even a Starbucks on property and you can rent golf cart by day or week!

We want this lodge to create nostalgic family memories, deep conversations, recharged mindsets, enduring friendships, romantic rendezvous, OVERALL positive life experiences that make Lake Lure so special. Beautifully decorated with four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a loft, and a basement living area/game room with pool table! Walk onto massive wrap around deck and enter through side door that opens into gourmet kitchen and soaring 2-story living room. The two bedrooms (one with king bed and one with queen bed) are on main floor and share a bathroom with a large soaking tub and shower. Master bedroom retreat is upstairs with newly renovated bathroom with steam shower and large tub. Kitchen is ready for cooking, including programmable pot and Keurig coffee machines, so bring your favorite supplies or buy them at the Ingles grocery store that is 15 minute drive. Working from home? No problem, there is a desk/work area in the loft if you need some alone time to check emails. All rooms have soft sheets with cozy duvets and/or quilts. Kids/Teens can enjoy having a set of twin beds and a pull out twin trundle in the basement. The living room leads to a deck with comfortable seating and a propane-fed grill, and step down to beautiful rock patio with a fire-pit area perfect for roasting marshmallows for s’more’s. There is a game closet inside including, but not limited to, corn hole and a host of board games.

There are two 18-hole championship golf courses available to book as guests of this home: Bald Mountain and Apple Valley.

Hurricane Helene: Thankfully, this home and surrounding resort area were mostly spared by the hurricane and we are so grateful but it has been a slow revival and we are very eager for visitors to return. Unfortunately, the main lake will be closed for recreational boating, swimming, and fishing use at least through summer 2025 and likely beyond due to Army Corp of Engineers efforts to remove vast debris and sediment deposited during flooding. The beach at Rumbling Bald has opened on one side with playground, pavilion, grassy field, and sandy beach, as well as cabana that sells ice cream. The other side will be closed, as is the marina. There was utter devastation on Sept 27, 2024 with flooding in downtown Lake Lure & Chimney Rock resulting in bridges and roads washing out. The people of this area depend on and are desperate for tourism to return to this beautiful mountain town so please book and help support our recovery. There are small lakes in the resort available for fishing. Reach out to property manager for info and updates. Be careful, most Rumbling Bald properties require additional $6 per person/day for limited # of guest passes but they are INCLUDED with this home.

4. Wineries: Parker-Binns, Burntshirt, Point Lookout, Mountain Brook, Fae Nectar, and of course Biltmore Estate is 1 hour drive
5. Check out all of the Asheville breweries! They are renowned for a reason :)
