The owner of the property was fantastic and easy to talk to. Our only complaint is we wish they would’ve had signs or something to indicate where exactly you need to go. Our GPS lost service unknowingly to us and took us 45 minutes out of the way. By the time we got to the correct property it was a challenge locating the cabin. This would not have been such a struggle if it wasn’t dark but other than that small issue everything was fantastic.

The cabin was spotless. We did not do any cooking. We made coffee and had everything we needed for that.There was a bear scare in the area while we were there. We didn't see any bears, but we did meet a Great Pyrenees dog, which proved to be an excellent watchdog.If you are looking for a place off the beaten path, and getting back to nature, this is the place for you.

Kitchen was equipped. Lack of Cosey due to no window blinds - did not feel safe due to the location, and the roads were in terrible condition. The floors were dirty and the screened in area was dirty chairs and floor, large black dog opened screen dog and entered. Not an ideal situation.

The place is a nice cozy cabin in the middle of no where! Phone service...noBiggest problem I had was i searched vrbo for a cabin with a hot tub... the whole reason i chose this place....per vrbo at time of reservation this place had a hot tub - which it does but , it is out of service, which I only found out after i checked in, that the owner took off the hot tub from amenities and stated in the last sentence of the description hot tob not available. So im not sure if vrbo screwed me, or it broke right after... this however ruined my anniversary getaway.Also the ac in the dining room didnt work. The "grill" is a little tailgate grill big enough for 1 decent size steak at a time... And i never found a dryer... that was and as of 6/15 still list as an amenity.It is a cute little cabin. And if it wasnt for lack hot tub it would have been great!

Unwind and Unplug

Perfect location for a weekend getaway with a spouse if you are wanting to unplug and interact with your surroundings. Cozy cabin, with nice accommodations!

Peaceful country setting

The property overlooks a pond where beavers live. On one side you have a hill that cows feed in and can watch them in early morning or late evening. We love the screened porch that has a view on three sides. We ate most of our meals there. The location is perfect if you need a getaway from normal life. There is no TV and hard to get a cellphone signal there.

Little slice of heaven!

We just returned from a 4-day stay at this cabin in heaven! This is a property we return to over-and-over again, because you just cannot find a place like this anywhere else. Ben & his family are the new owners/hosts & the excellence continues! This is a good place for us; I personally prefer being completely unplugged, getting into the very clean hot tub, sitting on the screened-in porch either reading or just enjoying the beautiful vista & using the full kitchen. But it's also a great place for my highly active husband; we brought his E-bike this time, and he rode it through some stunning back country roads. Although you'd never know it, you're also quite close to more hiking & canoeing than you could even do in a lifetime & a few towns. The cabin's king-sized is THE most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. When not a full moon, you can lie on the top of the mountain right by the cabin & take in the Milky Way Galaxy's star-lit sights. We of course saw cows & calves, birds & butterlies. We heard the coyotes "singing" (far-off) at night in the mountains & valleys. Although Ben said that the beavers had been highly active the previous month, they must've been taking a well-deserved rest while we were there. Treat yourself to a very relaxing getaway here, with the option of mixing in some world-class hiking & canoeing!

Ribbon Ridge Ranch Cabin

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for a weekend. If you are looking for a private and cozy place off the beaten path(the path to the cabin is quite beaten with gravel and dirt roads the last couple miles to the property) to get away from the world this is the place. It comes with all of the amenities needed for a great getaway!

Ribbon Ridge Ranch

We really enjoyed our stay at Ribbon Ridge Ranch. The house is well-appointed and clean. Note that it is off the grid - no internet or TV. Refreshing! I personally enjoyed the birdlife around the ranch, as an amateur birder. The hot tub was a nice touch. Keith was very accommodating. For example, he graciously gave us a tour of the Red Ribbon Schoolhouse, another rental on the property. My wife is a retired public schoolteacher and loves old schools. Note that there were no renters at the time, that made it possible to see the inside of the building. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fabulous

Keith was so nice and his cabin was perfect. Lots of supplies to cook with. All the amenities for a lovely stay. Hot tub was the extra chem that we were looking for. There are board games and a dvd player just in case. The one thing I wish we would have brought was a radio. If you want to get away from WiFi this is the place. The night sky there is amazing. Thank you for a great stay.

Peaceful Getaway

Country Paradise!

Really enjoyed our stay! A terrific cabin located in the middle of country seclusion. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The cabin is in the middle of 131 acres with 3 ponds, hiking trails, wildlife, quiet, and a most amazing view of the stars. Keith, the host, is a delightful man and made check in simple and made sure we had all we needed. The cabin overlooks a large pond with a working beaver family. They were so fun to watch! Far from any city lights, the view of the stars is impressive. The bedroom has a comfortable king bed with a nice view of the large pond. Large fire pit and there was even wood on hand for the fire. Cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Large screened in porch and a hot tub too (although we didn't use the hot tub). We had no phone/internet service the entire time we were there which was both expected and appreciated. We were really off the grid and enjoyed it. Cabin is close to Buffalo River, Boxley, Ponca, Kingston, and Huntsville. Made a trip down to the Boxley Valley to see the elk. Thank you Keith for a great stay!!

Get away from it all

If you're looking for a get away from everything stressful, this is it! Cute cabin, with beautiful scenery, tucked away from all the complications real life brings. The host is super nice, and made everything easy peasy.

Rest relax, and heal.

We are recovering from the lost of a beloved grandchild and just wanted some quiet time alone in a beautiful spot. Ribbon Ridge Ranch filled the bill. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and left on Friday at ll. Nothing but eating, drinking, reading and hot tub.

Perfect hidden cabin

Ribbon Ridge Ranch VRBO

It is in an ideal location for a quiet, private getaway. Just us and the sounds of nature. We love the hot tub and the big bedroom with it's king size bed. There is no satellite service, but our host provided a dvd player and a selection of movies to watch. The best room though is the screened porch where we spent most of our time reading, talking, relaxing and listening to nature sounds including the rain. It is May after all. At night, you can sit on the front porch and look up at the star filled sky on a clear night. Coming from the city, we don't experience that often enough. The host is a kind, gentle man with two dogs. He keeps the property mowed which adds to the beauty of the surroundings. We enjoyed our time there and will probably return.

Excellent for a true private getaway

My wife and I loved this cabin. If you're looking for a cozy home away from home type place this is definitely it. Far enough away from anyone to bother you with absolute silence at all times, but still close enough to drive to the major cities like Eureka Springs and Branson being only 45min to an hour away. The property was well kept and beautiful scenery all around. The property manager Keith was easy to contact and was very responsive and was also nice and accommodating. Check-in and check-out were easy and it was just an all around pleasure to stay here. We would definitely stay here again, and plan to soon!
