Náutica de lujo vintage - Lote Grand Estate

No es lo que esperarías de una propiedad típica de playa. Bald Head Island es una isla única con Live Oaks, palmettos, musgo español, playas de arena blanca y un hermoso campo de golf con lagunas, palmeras, totalmente ajardinada. Hemos estado buscando una casa de lujo que combine todos estos aspectos de la isla, y finalmente la encontramos. Esta casa de 4000 pies cuadrados con 5 habitaciones está situada en el octavo green, con vistas lejanas y sonidos del océano, todo mientras está ubicado en el borde del bosque. También tenemos 1 carrito de golf para cuatro personas y un carrito de 6 personas para su uso. Una vez que llegue a la isla después de un maravilloso viaje en ferry de 20 minutos (no olvide reservar el ferry hacia y desde la isla cuando reserve su reserva), todo el estrés del mundo habrá desaparecido. Solo se permiten carritos de golf y bicicletas (tenemos 4) en la isla. También tenemos un tercer carrito de golf en alquiler por $ 250 por semana si es necesario.

We absolutely loved our stay. This gorgeous estate was the perfect location to celebrate my husband’s 55th birthday! From the lovely decor, luxurious beds, great pool and spa to the golf carts and well stocked home needs—this was a dream spot for us. Bald Head Island and this home didn’t disappoint.

We loved this house!! It was so welcoming and snuggly!!! Sherrie was so responsive and helpful during our stay!!! We have never used a hot tub that could warm up so quickly!!! We cooked thanksgiving here and were able to make all of the items with the fully stocked kitchen!!! Thank you so much!!! We will definitely be back!!

We loved the property, location, & amenities!The family is wonderful & patient. The pool is beautiful. The veranda allows a good amount of bird watching without leaving your chair! The painted buntings are gorgeous. I was able to get my steps in just walking around the lovely home.

We’ve been coming to Bald Head for a family vacation for 12 yrs, the last 4 in properties with in-ground pools and this one was great. We loved this house and found it well laid out and spacious. The kids were thrilled with the “kids room”, and we were surprised to find it well stocked with toys and books. The pool was great, and we were in it every day. We were pleased that bathrooms and the kitchen had necessary items like soaps and paper towels, loved the coffee bar and the few times we had questions the owners were prompt and responsive. Overall a great experience.

Great Spot for families and friends on BHI

House was great and comfortably accommodated 2 couples, and 5 kids (11-18). Bunk room holds 4 plus more if needed on the large couch below. All rooms are spacious and plush! Lots of necessities in the kitchen and a fantastic wraparound back patio and pool deck. Enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful home on a beautiful island!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home on Bald Head Island! This home was beautiful with modern amenities, very artistic, eclectic and comfortable. Golf course views and a short walk to the beach added to an enjoyable stay. The owners were quick to respond to messages and were very gracious hosts. We will definitely consider booking this home again when we return to BHI!

Perfect house for a large family

We LOVE this house - and plan to return! From the pictures, we thought it may be too elegant for children 5-9 years old - but it is beautifully decorated AND relaxed and comfortable. Owners were super responsive to questions and needs. Kitchen was well stocked with great appliances. LOVED the pool! Highly recommend

Excellent get away to BHI

Sherry and David have an exceptional home which was very comfortable for our 6 adult and 3 dog group to stay in. The home provides space for everyone to relax when needed and to join together for meals and discussions. Sherry and David are so nice and they will make sure that you have an excellent stay. They work with you for preparing to arrive and on any questions you might have while on BHI. We plan to stay again based on our experience and would recommend others to stay.

Great girls getaway

We had the most amazing girls weekend at this beautiful house! From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The home was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay.The highlight for us was definitely the backyard — the pool and hot tub were absolutely dreamy! We spent our days lounging in the sun, swimming, and sipping cocktails by the water, and our nights soaking in the hot tub under the stars. It felt like a private little resort.The host was super responsive and helpful, with clear instructions and thoughtful touches throughout the home. The kitchen was well-equipped for our brunches and snacks, and there was plenty of space for everyone to hang out comfortably.If you’re looking for a getaway spot with your friends, this is it! We’re already talking about booking again for next year. Highly recommend!

Family Birthday Weekend

We had an amazing time at the house and in Bald Head! We celebrated my mom's 70th and it was a blast for everyone. We had kids to grandparents and everyone had a ball. This is the second time I have stayed in this house, the other was a girls weekend, and it worked so well for both types of groups. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. The pool, hot tub and outdoor area are just what you need to relax. The bikes were a huge hit with both adults and kids. We truly had one of the best weekends. We are planning another trip back soon and can't wait to stay here again! Thank you all so much for a great time... again! :)

The Perfect Family Escape

With international travel all but out of the question, my family was seeking a safe, convenient escape which we all so desperately needed this year. Bald Head Island has been a favorite stateside destination of ours for many years and was the obvious choice when settling on a location. When looking for the right property, "A Hole in One" hit ALL the marks! Perfect location (check!), spacious, comfortable, & beautifully decorated (double check!), private pool/spa and every comfort of home we'd ever need (triple check!). David & Sherry responded to our many questions almost immediately and were beyond helpful throughout our entire stay. With so much uncertainly this year - from COVID to hurricane season and everything in between - it gave us tremendous peace of mind to be able to communicate directly with David & Sherry & talk through some of our worries. We had a wonderful week at "A Hole in One". The weather cooperated, the island was safe & quiet, and the property exceeded expectations in every way. Thank you, David & Sherry, for everything! We'll be back.

Fabulous home! We loved our stay so much it was gorgeous, unique, very spacious and comfortable. We stayed here during our daughter’s wedding on the island and it was the perfect stay. The deck space is wonderful, prime location near BHI club and marina, comfy sleeping, well stocked kitchen, nice golf carts and friendly communicative hosts. Highly recommend!

Sherry is from Coastal NC but has lived in Chapel Hill since 1990 and loves it! David is from Connecticut, and came here by way of California. Having owned Ladies Fitness & Wellness centers for many years and being an entrepreneur, Sherry loves meeting and helping people.

My husband ran a B&B in for a short time 1989 and loves to cook. We both love fitness & golf. We have six children between us, with our youngest just starting college in 2015. David was an exchange student in Germany in 1980, and last year we returned the honor by hosting our 7th child from Italy. We had our first granddaughter in 2014.

We have been running a successful sister property in Chapel Hill North Carolina and have decided to expand to This treasure of an Island.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Not what you would expect from a typical beach property. Bald Head Island is a unique island with Live Oaks, palmettos, Spanish Moss, white sandy beaches, and a gorgeous golf course with lagoons, palm trees, that is fully landscaped. We have been searching for a Luxury home that blends all these aspects of the island, and finally found it. This 4000 square foot home is situated on the 8th green, with distant views and sounds of the ocean, all while being nestled on the edge of the forest. Amazing upper deck with great views for lounging in the sun.
Very important: Reminder to book the Ferry to the island and and return trip island to mainland when you book. Checkout is 10 am so the house has to get ready for the next guests arriving at 4 pm.
