Waterfront Private Lakefront Cottage, casa artesana completamente renovada

¡Relájate, relájate y diviértete en el lago! Nuestra cabaña recientemente renovada en Stumpy Creek se encuentra en un terreno plano de un acre y sombra en una tranquila cala en el lago Norman. Cene en el gran porche y terraza, tome el sol en el muelle flotante y nade en la tranquila cala cerca del parque estatal Lake Norman. Lanza tu barco desde el cercano Stumpy Creek Boat Landing y atraca junto a nuestro espacioso muelle. Te encantará el entorno tranquilo, ¡pero estás a solo minutos de excelentes restaurantes y tiendas!
En 2019, llevamos nuestra cabaña 1200 SF a postes y construimos la nueva cabaña de nuestra familia para compartir con ustedes. Sabemos que cada detalle personalizado se ajustará a las necesidades de su familia y grupo.

Our family had a great time at the house. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, playing games, and spending time in the three sitting areas. The kitchen was spacious. The host was especially friendly and easy to contact.

Lake Norman cottage

This house was wonderful, great location, very spacious, great yard. All of the amenities you could ask for. Every one had a great time and would definitely stay here again when we come back.

My family had a fantastic trip! The house was perfect for our family of six with room for all of us and more. The location on the lake is perfect! We fished, skied, and wakeboarded and enjoyed floating off the dock. This is a great location on Lake Norman and we will be back again.

Beautiful home, well appointed with everything you could need for a relaxing vacation. My husband and I were joined by our adult children and their spouses were a wonderful stay. Days on the dock-swimming and kayaking, and soaking up the sun, evening’s cooking together in the large, beautiful kitchen, games and relaxing on the deck in the evening. Couldn’t have been better.

Terrific house on the lake!

Great views of the lake! House was great for our family with plenty of room for everyone. Host was very responsive. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

Perfect Family Vacation

Our stay at the Stumpy creek cottage was perfect. We had two toddlers with us and the yard was perfect for them to run around in. They also loved the easy access into the warm lake water. The covered boat dock was also very nice to have. The owners were also very nice and helpful with any questions we had.

Great Stay

House was great for our group. We spent a lot of time on the deck, in the water and kayaking/paddle boarding. Being on the cove was perfect with kids and babies in the water. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Judy was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely rent again.

A wonderful home!

Two families stayed at this property for a week in the summer and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The property was actually nicer in person than it appeared online. It was clean, large, comfortable, well appointed/stocked with everything needed to cook meals and completely updated. We loved having a grill, floating dock and outside seating. We would love to visit again!

Amazing Stay!

A great family getaway! Stayed at Stumpy Creek with family and kiddos. Judy and her husband were great hosts. The home was equipped with everything you could need and was extremely clean. The home is beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. Beautifully decorated and the location on the lake is amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely lovely home

Stayed for Thanksgiving holiday with family. The house and location were perfect. Beautifully decorated, new and clean. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, even for making a big Thanksgiving dinner. We are already planning when to come back in the summer to enjoy the lovely lake! We highly, highly recommend this property!

Wonderful home for our celebration

Rented this gigeius home for a second time. We needed a spacious place with a high-end atmosphere to host a family get together and this was perfect. As always, the very well stocked kitchen, loads of seating and separate but open gathering spaces made this a perfect spot. Enjoyed time by the fire lakeside sipping wine and star gazing. What a great weekend!

Bass tournament rental

House was amazing my husband and I brought my 80 year old father and Friends to fish the Oakley big bass tournament. Everything was perfect except the fishing could've been better I will definitely stay again.

Beautiful lake rental!

Our family had a fantastic time at Judy's property on the lake. The house was clean and very well maintained. The property is beautiful and peaceful. We loved how quiet it was on the cove. After long days out exploring it was great to come back and relax by the lake. Judy was easy to work with and readily available for any questions. I would highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful and very clean lake home

I rented this property for three families including my own. The house itself is beautiful but the backyard and views of the lake are even better. The house was well stocked and very clean. Huge backyard and fire pit area! The owner had great communication prior to checkin and gave us a ton of information about the lake and surrounding area. Would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful lakefront home on a quiet cove

The pictures and description of this property do not do it justice. The home was beautiful,clean and well stocked with anything you would need. The yard was one of the nicest we have seen in our many years coming to Lake Norman. The owner checked on us and is kindly going to mail us something that was left behind. Our family could not have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful home, very relaxing location

The home was recently renovated and it is gorgeous!!! Very spacious with 3 living areas and open kitchen great for accommodating a larger group. Lovely outdoor space with a big yard perfect for kids, outdoors activities and even has the option for a gas or natural wood fire. Oversized dock where we spent our days sunbathing, swimming and fishing. Judy was great with communicating any info needed for our visit. She even provided recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. We had a very relaxing vacation and would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Lakefront home

This house was all we needed and more! The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked, we cooked Thanksgiving dinner and didn’t need to purchase anything. The house had plenty of paper products and toiletries if needed. The fire pit was a big hit for s’mores. The beds were comfortable. The location was minutes from stores. The decor was beautiful. And of course the lake view was amazing! This is by far the best rental we have stayed at. Highly recommend this rental. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Military Family

We rented the cottage so that our adult children/spouses could attend a local wedding. 3 out of 4 of our children are currently, serving in the US military. ( as well as my husband) we needed a large enough place to stay with a very relaxing atmosphere. This cottage exceeded our expectations! Not only very spacious but absolutely everything you need for enjoying the down time. From kayaking, to swimming, relaxing near the fire pit. Just an amazing stay! The owners were very accommodating and this place is pristine. Please take extra care of this special home. If we are lucky enough to all get together at the same time, again… this would be on our top list!

This property is unique in that we have a partially shaded 1 1/3 acre lot, giving you the privacy that you need, but open to water deep enough for any size boat. There is room beside our dock to keep your boat in this quiet cove.

From Water: You can reach many marinas, restaurants and bars within a short boat ride.

From Land: Mooresville's shopping areas along Exit 36 on I-77 are close by (within 5 minutes of grocery stores, Target, etc.). Enjoy close proximity without the traffic!
