Esta casa de 3,350 pies cuadrados es ideal para vacaciones grupales y reuniones familiares. Tiene impresionantes vistas desde la sala de estar, la cocina, los dos dormitorios principales y la terraza. Definitivamente experimentarás unas verdaderas vacaciones de montaña al aire libre aquí. Esta casa está orientada al oeste con una excelente vista de Quandry Mountain, un impresionante pico de montaña de 14,000 pies. Hoosier Pass está al sur, Boreas Pass está al norte y los bosques nacionales están al este. * Unos pasos más arriba hay un comedor con mesa para 8 personas. Puede traer sillas adicionales.
* La cocina está modernizada con encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. Hay una mesa adicional en la cocina con capacidad para cuatro con más vistas de las montañas..
* La gran terraza de nueva construcción está fuera de la cocina equipada con una parrilla de gas y muebles de salón. ¡Relájate y disfruta de las hermosas vistas!
* Placa de cocción justo detrás de la cubierta. En invierno, se colocan almohadillas térmicas para que pueda caminar hasta la bañera de hidromasaje. Es posible que inicialmente deba palear alrededor de la bañera de hidromasaje (si hay nieve) para quitar la cubierta. Algunas de nuestras críticas mencionan la bañera de hidromasaje, esta es completamente nueva, mientras que la anterior estaba en el interior.

* 1 dormitorio principal con cama king y terraza privada
* 1 habitación con cama queen
* 1 habitación con una cama litera. La litera tiene una cama doble en la parte inferior y una cama individual en la parte superior.
* Gran baño principal que tiene dos lavabos, bañera enorme y ducha separada. Se adjunta al dormitorio principal y puerta de acceso independiente para dos dormitorios adicionales.

Great house, Great location

We stayed early September, this property was perfct. Just a short drive to town and a short drive to hiking, and hiking right behind the house, the best of both worlds. The views were great from the deck and because the windows we had views from the kitchen and living room. Only thing Id suggest is bring a humidifier or buy one because our sinuses suffered.

The Tipsy Bear is in a great location if you want to visit Breckenridge the views are stunning.

The views are fantastic and the property is functional. We did run into a few issues that were frustrating but Leah was extremely responsive to try and fix what you could! Definitely rent a 4x4 as the hill is difficult to get up when snowing etc.

Fall Trip to Breckenridge

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Tipsy Bear. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood a few minutes south of Breckenridge on a heavily forested mountainside. The listing doesn't hardly do justice to the spectacular layout of this house and the incredible views. Plenty of space for our family of 7 adults to spread out or hang out together eating, playing games, etc. Everything we needed was provided. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and simple with good communication from host. Highly recommended.

The stay was great. We were blessed by items left for us to use and we put items up to replace what we used. When we pulled the sheets off the bed on the first floor the mattress was stained and need to be changed

Very nice property for group/family gatherings.

Lovely, clean, spacious home. Very comfortably sleeps up to 14. Nicely furnished in both common areas and bedrooms. There’s no way to get to any place in the house without encountering stairs, so not good for people with mobility limitations. Kitchen was better stocked with both dishes/pans/utensils and such things as spices and condiments than any of the numerous other place we’ve stayed. Amazing mountain views from both inside the home and from the deck. For those who don’t mind some steep terrain, a hiking trail starts just a few steps from the deck. Leah, the owner, was great to work with. Clearly dedicated to creating a good experience for renters. Highly recommend.

Another wonderful stay!

This was our second stay at the Tipsy Bear. Our whole family (14 of us) all agreed it is the most accommodating VRBO rental we have stayed at. Leah is an absolute gem to work with and responded quickly and graciously to all of our inquiries from booking to check out. The house is in a beautiful location, close to everything but far enough away. The view, at all times of the day and night, is stunning! The home is well maintained and clean and provides a great workout (lots of stairs)! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals and the grill was an added bonus. We all spent time together preparing meals, doing cleanup and discovering new kitchen gadgets :) I would and have recommended this home to others. The price is so reasonable for all the amenities you receive. Thank you for making our family get together the best it could be!

Beautiful house with tiny house guests

We rented the house to accommodate our family visiting for our wedding. The house was beautiful but there were some unwanted visitors during our stay. Besides the broken fold out couch the only real complaint would be the mice that found their way into the house. For the amount of money spent on a rental you would expect mice not to be an issue. I understand we are in the mountains but I suggest bring your own mouse traps or don't wake up early! Maybe then you wont encounter these unwanted house guests running around in the kitchen or climbing on your luggage. My family was disgusted and don't have a desire to rent another house like this again. I highly recommend checking to make sure everything works properly, food is properly stored away, luggage is not on the floor and address any issues immediately to management.

Hi Deanna, I'm so sorry you didn't have an optimal stay! We really wished you had contacted us right away with any issues opposed to letting us know a month later. Any time guests have issues we really try our best to right any situation. We had no idea the fold out couch was broken. We could have tried to get our handyman out there to temporarily fix it. Since we have found out we did buy a new pull out couch. As for the unwanted critters I was very shocked to hear this. You mentioned that is was the last day of your stay you saw them. I'm really hope this was a fluke. Just prior to your stay we were up here for a whole week and never saw any indication of this. I've also contacted a few guests after your stay and no signs. I take this seriously. We had someone come out and inspect but saw no indication that mice were living in the house. We are here right now and I purposely got up early (since you said it was like 4 am where you saw them) and nothing. We are definitely continuing to monitor this situation.

The problem is in the details.....

On screen the place looked fantastic.....and at first glance it did too. Unfortunately, as time goes on.....you realize that the house needs some attention. We were the first in our party to arrive and found several of the outlet covers laying on the ground. It wasn't easy trying to replace all of them on the wall without a screwdriver. Next, we notice the bottom level is freezing (in the middle of June) and attempt to change the thermostat. It accepts our change and we travel to the other levels (which are blazing hot) to adjust the thermostats on those levels as well. We thought the problem was fixed until the rest of our group arrives and we notice how hot the place is getting again. One more glance at the thermostat reveals that an internal program has reset the temps. No matter what we try, we can't get a new program to be accepted, so we spend the rest of the vacation freezing in our bed at night and sweltering during the day. We've owned a number of thermostats in our lives and we are more than capable of figuring out a digital thermostat. The main issue is that the house has walls of windows (lovely to view the mountains, but not so nice on the ambient temp). The one set is covered in retractable screens......unfortunately, it is not the side of the house that receives the sun in the afternoon. The doors aren't sealed and you can see air around the perimeter. I can't imagine how cold it gets in high season for the skiers! It would really benefit the owners to properly weatherproof their home, not only for the customers staying there.....but for their own utility bills as well! Next, we find the hot tub filled with bugs and emanating a nasty smell......no hot tub for us! This was all just in the first day! From there, we go to use the laundry room and find a pair of man's underwear in the drier (yuck!) and while the washer works just fine.....the drier only heats up the room and doesn't dry the clothes. We contact the owner and are told that the "dryer is old and will take about 2 hours to dry anything". I'm pretty sure that lint has built up along it's venting and the heat produced in the dryer is backing up into the house. Another quick fix that will save the owners a potential fire in the future. Coffee pot doesn't work...kitchen poorly stocked (only two tiny pans to cook in), and the oven wouldn't heat on the last day, instead we smelled gas. Good thing we only tried to use the oven twice on the trip!

We are so bummed to hear you did not enjoy your stay. We take a lot of pride in our home and have been making constant improvements since we purchased it in 2012. I just want to assure people we do take care of our home. We had the heating looked at earlier this year and is in working order. We do shut the thermostats off for the summer so not sure if you just didn’t notice that you had to switch the button to heat first. We have routine service come for the hot tub. We did just have a bunch of electrical, drywall, painting work done and apologize if all the outlet covers weren’t put back on. We did have the next guests inform us about the oven and we had someone come out the next day to fix. We are still trying to resolve the far windows for blinds because the shape of the windows it’s not a super easy fix nor is it inexpensive. We appreciate your feedback and use it to constantly improve our guests’ stays. And when any guests have issues we respond right away and hopefully can resolve during their stay.

A Rocky Mountain Gem

Our gang greatly enjoyed our stay at The Tipsy Bear. The house exceeded our expectations with well stocked consumable goods, a great view of the mountains, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, and plenty of seating. The pool table and hot tub were great fun after a full day of mountain adventure. Leah was a friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended!

Great Home with Incredible Views

Great location for skiing at Breck--quiet mountain setting just a short drive from all the hustle and bustle of town! The floor to ceiling windows and views from the bedrooms were breathtaking. The home was very spacious for our group of 10 and we loved using the outdoor hot tub and pool table. Thanks for sharing your home with us-we loved it!

This home is a terrific choice!

Leah, our host, was very responsive and gracious to my questions before our trip, and made me feel very comfortable. Their home was wonderfully open, clean, well supplied, and the instructions and written guidance at the home were very clear....for every item we needed to use; Leah anticipated needs in the instructions. Great house, amazing views!!

My family and I stayed at the Tipsy Bear for two weeks over the summer. The house has a great layout for a large group of people, with plenty of space and it's well stocked! The deck is amazing, the views are unbeatable, and walking the trails behind the house was my favorite part of the immediate area. Leah was very quick to respond to any issues, her communication was excellent. Overall, a really nice stay!

We looked at many homes, however, one glance at the view of the mountains made us fall in love. You have views from the living room, deck, kitchen, and the two master bedrooms. We just could not beat the view.

We have really grown to love this house and have been working diligently to make improvements. We've upgraded much of the furniture, built new decks, removed the hot tub from inside the house to outside so you can enjoy the outdoors! The Tipsy Bear is finally getting the TLC that it deserves.
