Esta casa está convenientemente ubicada en el pintoresco condado de Garfield, a solo 35 minutos del cañón Bryce y a 50 minutos del parque nacional Zion. Hay hermosos acantilados de color rosa que sirven como telón de fondo dinámico para esta casa y es muy privado, ya que se encuentra en un rancho de 300 acres. It is a bit of a drive on a dirt roads but once you get there is very peaceful. It's kept very well and very clean. We had deer in the back yard, a flock of turkeys wander by the front yard, rabbits running around, a hawk in the trees, very fun to watch! There are lots of roads and trails to take evening walks and you can say hi to Buckley, a large buck deer that is used to humans. It is more of a retreat experience rather than a resort, middle of everything experience. We enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

Property was very accurately portrayed in the listing. Beautiful views, private and very accessible to Bryce Canyon. Clean with everything we needed for our stay. We had a wonderful stay! Extra driving directions were very helpful but our GPS did get us there!

When we arrived I couldn’t find any email from the owner about the door code or the check-in process, so I called him. He wasn’t aware of our reservation, but he quickly checked into it and confirmed our reservation and sent us the door code and instructions. We absolutely loved this rental! It was spotless, spacious, and just a beautiful living space. The 1.6 mile gravel road to get there was a little challenging but we enjoyed the ride and loved the remoteness of the property. Several mule deer crossed the gravel road in front of us, and we heard turkeys gobbling on our last morning. Highly recommend!

We keep a calendar to make sure we have our guests ready for their arrival. For some reason Benita didn't make it to the calendar. I was happy for her call and quickly got her in the home. We will be more careful to not make this error again. We are glad they enjoyed their time at our home.

Video driving directions were incredibly helpful to this rural location! We loved being away from any neighbors. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Close to Bryce Canyon NationalPark, where we enjoyed hiking and the beautiful park.

Road getting to property seemed easier leaving than arriving, haha. House ‘double-wide-modular?’ is on farmland as listing states. Had to kill a few flies (fly swatter was provided). Room/side of house with king-sized bed smelled a bit musty so chose to stay in primary bedroom with smaller bed which wasn't as comfortable. Glad we did since the next morning double checked that room, and there were two fairly large spiders on the ceiling, yikes! Front door deadbolt not lined up so didn’t lock, and back door needed 2x6 lumber in track since that lock didn’t work either. Broken floor tile(s) around wood stove; made me a little nervous when my dog walked over them. No garbage disposal. TV pretty high on the wall, not easy to view. My dog stepped in something outside that was like tar (wildlife droppings?) that I had to cut out of his fur/paw pad upon arriving home. There were also burs along the edge of the grass for pet owners to be aware of. Pet deposit reasonable, but for nightly price of rental could be excluded IMO. Sunset views would have been nicer with trees thinned out a bit, or a wrap around deck/seating on each side of home. The extra insurance required for just my husband & I and small dog seemed a bit much. Probably not the best rental for our situation of just one night travelling through town on a rainy/cool weekend where we couldn’t enjoy/settle into entire property. Road noise could be heard while on back deck...but otherwise very peaceful.

What stood out was that our family had a great time being together. The directions to find the home were very good. The location was perfect for our destinations, Zion and Bryce Canyons. The beds were comfortable and there was enough seating for all at the table. The big screen tv was great. However, the home is in need of some deferred maintenance and the kitchen needs more silverware.

The home is well maintained as the reviews reflect that. We are adding addition silverware as we noticed our last inspection last week there were a lot missing. It is amazing how they just disappear.

Location was close to Bryce Canyon and we liked the rural area for bird watching and gazing at the night sky. I have never seen so many stars! The house was very spacious and clean.

Great stay

This property was exactly as advertised. It was clean, spacious, and remote. If you want a quiet place to enjoy beautiful vistas this will work for you. It's off the beaten path but if you want an alternative to the hotels/motels in the area this is a great one!

Everything was very clean and comfortable. It’s a ways out on a gravel road, but our host, Bill sent a detailed video so we easily found our way. I took one star off as some people may not like the drive. We actually liked the solitude of the area and enjoyed sitting out on the back porch. We enjoyed the proximity to both Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks.

The gravel road is well maintained and it's kind of the point to be able to enjoy a place with solitude.

My wife and I and five girls really have enjoyed this home as it was a place that I grew up on and our girls have had the same opportunity to do so as well. They are outdoor enthusiasts and love spending time there. We currently live in Lindon Utah and try to get down to there as often as occasion will permit. We decided that since we can't be down there more often that we would open this home for others to enjoy and hope that your experience is one that you will never forget.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This is a family home that my father built but unfortunately lost his battle to cancer before he was able to really enjoy it. Our family grew up on the land that this home sits on where formally there was an old deer hunters cabin that we built once stood. There have been many fond memories growing up here and we really enjoy how relaxing it is to come and stay and at the same time there are plenty of things to do. There is Hunting, fishing, ATV riding, hiking and seeing the sights such as Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks.

There is the national parks to visit, ATV & UTV trails to ride right from the home. There are unlimited trails on and off the property to see. Get a part of Bryce but not in the park. Fishing in our local ponds and at the river. All kinds of wildlife to enjoy such as deer, elk and turkeys. It is away from the hustle and very peaceful and relaxing. The views are amazing including the pink cliffs to the east.
