Now I know why people have returned multiple times to this property. Total peace for days. This house and property are so well maintained that's why it's 5 star rated! This is a very well appointed VRBO with everything you will ever need. The owners are great and gave us little surprises even after we arrived. We will be back in the Spring to see if we can land a big bass in their pond. The ranch manager Randy and ranch hand Rueben were awesome! The trails in the woods were so much fun. We spent hours on them. Don't worry, you will not get lost. Keep going and there will be an exit!

Fantastic ranch with plenty of room, all the usual amenities, but also a great pond for fishing, paddling, and swimming! The surrounding land was great for viewing the exotic animals and some really good bird watching. We had a blast!

Blown Away!

The property is absolutely beautiful and the house was everything we hoped for. We came with 3 young kids (and a baby) and the kids had a blast in the "Narnia" room and on the pond. 10/10 would recommend.

So much fun!

It's impossible not to love Baines Creek Ranch! Such a refreshing get-away from the noise of towns and cities. There's lots to do, including just sitting and visiting on the porch. The exotic animals lend a safari-type experience that is enchanting for adults and kids alike. Definitely on our "favorite places" list!

Serene and beautiful

My family loves coming to this ranch. It’s gorgeous inside and out. The new renovations are beautiful. We love sunrise coffee in the porch looking at the pond. There’s always a nice breeze. The exotic animals are so interesting. We all get the best sleep of our lives out there and have a ton of fun. The workers on the ranch are very helpful and kind if need be but alas allow is to feel like we are the only ones there.

Perfect place for families

Second time here. The ranch is amazing and the perfect place to hang out with family. Lots of peace and quiet. The secret room to the secret room was a hit with the grandkids. Might have to make this an annual tradition.

Blessed Family Time

Our stay at Baines Creek Ranch in Groesbeck was simply delightful, as always. The blend of thrilling 4-wheeler adventures and serene moments amidst lush green pastures by tranquil waters was a perfect retreat for my family. We cherish these opportunities to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse ourselves in relaxation. Also the fish were biting exceptionally well for this visit!

Incredible Place

We love staying here. It's so relaxing and a great place for our family to get away from the busy city life & all spend time together. Laurel is an amazing host & always so quick/helpful when something is needed. We look forward to continuing our annual family trip/stay at Baines Creek. Excellent As Usual

We stay here once every year for a family gathering. It's great for a large party. The kitchen can handle a lot of traffic, and the living area is huge. The whole family looks forward to this trip every year.

Amazing getaway

Baines Creek Ranch is the place to go, whether you have a big group, big family, or just to get the ladies together or have a guys weekend! We have been out a couple of times, with mix families and for guys/gal weekends. This group was comprised of kids ages 3-17, and a mix of families. Everyone is ranting about the time they had, all ages of kids had their own unique experience and take on how fun the weekend was. From Big Buck Hunter, Pacman and Galaga, to riding four wheelers through the trails, then upstairs to rest for the afternoon watching movies and resting in the Narnia room. Kids are blown away by the Narnia room and secret room above it, even the 12-14 year olds! We cannot recommend this house enough, great hosts and relaxing getaway for a group, a great spot to unwind!

This was our second stay @Baines Creek, our family loves it here. The owners and staff are great, and seem to have thought of everything. Be sure to book as long as you can, you won't want to leave when its time. I promise!

So good for the soul. Incredible place.

The ranch is amazing and peaceful. We had our extended family meet up here and there was something for everyone. Several would exercise by running the several mile trails. Others would fish. Others would walk and checkout the wildlife. I sat on the porch for hours watching the sunrise and set.

My family and I had a great time here. Beautiful home and property. The hosts were great, amenities awesome. My family and I totally unplugged and just enjoyed one another. There are no clocks anywhere and I didn't notice til it was time to leave, that kinda tells you all you need to know. I wish there was another star to give

This piece of property has been in the family since it was an original Texas Land Grant in the middle of the 1800s. It is a favorite place to go with our 3 kids to get away from it all and relax. Our family and friends never want to leave! We know you'll love escaping to Baines Creek Ranch.

This is a perfect rendezvous between Austin, Houston, and Dallas and a great escape to the country side. You'll have the whole 7 acre lake to yourself. Put a fire in the fire pit or sit next to the fireplace under the 2000 sq ft covered patio. The stars are unbelievable.
A lot of people base here and go to the BSR Cable water park which is only 20 minutes away. https://www.bsrcablepark.com. Acclaimed Magnolia Market at the Silos is just a 45 minute drive into Waco.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Does the other property you are looking at have a secret Narnia room that you can only get into through the Wardrobe? No? I didn't think so! Seriously, the kids and adults will fall in love with this place. You'll make life long memories on the 350 acres at Baines Creek Ranch!
